No, I'm not at the con until Sunday but as QS said, the people at that table are the ones to ask. I'm still hoping he can make an appearance on Sunday.

Do you mean Dan Fogler? Table 16-18 in the comic zone.
Have you seen him? Just wondering as someone on Twitter is saying he's not there until noon tomorrow, and you know how these social media things start haha

if you went upto the YALC the schedule was posted all around there as well but I agree they could have done more to highlight as it is not just those with YALC tickets who are interested in YALC. Most of the authors are only attending one day each - not sure why this is maybe so they can have as many different ones as possible,
I agree with you on the sound in the talk area I was diamond pass for Jeremy and I couldn't always hear very well.
YALC guests aren't paid for their time, they're there on a promotional basis to promote works they have coming out and will kindly sign for free so can't really expect them to be there all day.
Like you say by alternating more of them are able to attend

I only saw her from a behind the scenes aspect, but she seemed very shy and was lovely

2. I went to meet a few authors from YALK. I was really excited to get to meet a couple of the
authors and had pre spoken to them on facebook before hand only to get there to find the authorswere only there on 1 day. I had seen nothing on the forum about who'd be there what day andhad brought my books to be signed and was really let down to find the authors NOT there. The Yalc schedule is posted online and around the YALC area, all the authors only tend to sign for 2 hours on one day (the odd one will do two days!) Unlike actors etc... they are signing for free so they cant be expected to sit around all day, but if you ever want to meet anyone there again just ask them for a programme as the yalc team are lovely

Rami went to one of the eternal twilights showmasters did btw

With any announcement you take your chances, however I believe the lack of communication between Mr. Perlman and Showmasters in the announcement of his cancellation has meant the 'inmates took charge' and made their own assumptions.
Sadly too many people are trying to play Captain on things they frankly know nothing about.
I still maintain Showmasters should liaise with their guests (in an official capacity) on matters such as statements on social media.
Just my 2 cents on the matter...
There are SO many people involved in these kinds of deals you can't control what a person does or doesn't write on their social media. They tend to want to let their fans know asap and then let "the people" deal with all the nitty gritty official stuff.
Of course its annoying but its just part and parcel of the live nature of social media

IIRC in the past when it's been a world first they usually do say it in the post.
That is very very true..... first time signer (in my head) suggested ever, but could be at a SM event
Is it a first time signer anywhere in the world though or just a first time SM signer? I don't think she's done any for SM was my thinking. I know she's done others though. It doesn't say world first on the first page is all really.
She's done quite a lot of conventions thoughMy out of the box thought is Eliza Dushku...she was in a film called Soul Survivors and voiced a character in Noah (hence the weather getting bad clue on twitter).
It's only cus im holding on to the hope of the scream guests haha

Great guest, he seemed really friendly at MK
-
For people saying about not being a first timer, in the lead up thread there was never even a suggestion it would be someone who hadn't attended SM
I think for a regional show, and the first one it's an amazing guest.

As Mark said best bet is to contact crew email and someone will be able to point you in the right direction :)
-
If there's every an issue with no hugs/touching or anything like that it'll be flagged before you enter by a crew member, so always have a couple of ideas in mind! - Just in case, but its usually completely fine
