  1. Was that the stale beer smell near the bar area?
  2. 'Ride safe, and keep it rubberside down' - Robert Patrick 'Wow, just 'Wow!'
  3. Well, here's my two cents after spending all three days at the event: Milton Keynes Stadium - great location; free entry; easy to find and easy to park, plus free buses to the station and Central MK. Plenty of room to walk around. Excellent location. The Guests - cancellations notwithstanding, a good range of guests; very friendly and accommodating (I managed to get my signings personalilzed), and Robert Patrick was amazing. I did feel sorry for some of the guests who had to suffer the wind and cold though - Chase Masterton must have caught a chill in her outfit! Food & Drink - all I can say, it's just as well there's a KFC and McDonalds right outside the stadium, because the Stadium's own food outlets were expensive, and there was not much choice at all. The Red Dot bar and restaurant was actually closed for all three days, which is amazing for a venue like this; what a missed opportunity - didn't they realize they had a captive audience of thousands? Dealer room - it's been a while since I bought anything from one of the dealers stalls, and it's not really my cup of tea. The couple of times I went in there it was far too busy to actually see anything, and everything seemed to be crammed in. Not a criticism though, just not my thing. All in all I had a great time, and really enjoyed the event. This is the third year I've been to MK Stadium, and I'll definitely be going again - well done Showmasters!
  4. I didn't get to see Elpidia yesterday, so I'll be back again today. She sounds like a really lovely lady.
  5. What a great guy Robert Patrick is! He made plenty of time to chat when I was getting his autograph, and once I told him I was a fellow Harley-Davidson owner he started telling me about the various Harleys he owns, and about being the President of Chapter 101 of the 'Boozefighters' motorcycle club in California. He told me that he will disappear on his Harley for a couple of weeks' after a film shoot, and just ride - top man!
  6. You're not wrong there! Linda Hamilton then...
  7. Summer Glau : Please, please, please!
  8. What a shame, but completely understandable: guests can't really be expected to brave our spring/early summer weather when they are open to the elements as they are in the current set-up at the stadium. Fingers crossed, and let's hope that the MKDons stadium gets the room ready in time for May 2011!
  9. A big 'Thank You' Showmasters; I really enjoyed this event, and I'm really looking forward to the next one!
  10. A huge 'Thank You' to Showmasters for getting Linda to the event - what a wonderful person, and she really made my weekend!
  11. Agreed, quick but lovely. + 1 She was a real sweetheart, wasn't she?
  12. Yeah, the line for Patrick was absolutely huge, so I'm going to try for Sunday. However, I did get to see him close-up as he walked right past me on his way back to his signing area this afternoon - which was a nice surprise! He certainly has a commanding presence about him
