  1. Can't believe there's so many posts! Well, I suppose I can hehe. Can't wait to hear more news! x
  2. Me and my best friend thought it would be an absolutely awesome idea to have a period drama event. I haven't seen any other suggestions about it, so if there is one I apologise, but I thought I'd see how many others would be interested. Just think of all the awesome guests! Guys like Richard Armitage (North and South), Rupert Penry Jones (Persuasion), Matthew Macfadyen (Little Dorrit and Pride and Prejudice) and Toby Stephens (Jane Eyre). Girls like Daniela Denby-Ashe (North and South), Ruth Wilson (Jane Eyre) and Claire Foy (Little Dorrit) Maybe it's just me who thinks it would be the ult? x
  3. I'd definatly be interested! What I wouldn't give to meet Bradley James. x
  4. What worked well? The guest talks were very efficient and the ME staff was very helpful, because even if they didn't know, they'd point you in the direction of someone who did. What could have been improved? Like many other people have said, at times it was hard to see the photo shoot sheet and it got annoying when people whose group number hadnt been called would line up anyone and hold up the queue. I know the staff tried very hard but they didn't seem to listen! What you would like to see added to the next con? Erm, maybe some more activities as there was a lot of waiting around. The guests don't necessarily have to be involved, like the video they played for us, it killed some time and was funny. :)
  5. Ooooooh yes. I second your motion 100% x
  6. I agree totally. I think the first night was the worst, as everyone had so much energy and was so excited, it was like, the only way to vent it out. I found myself at times cheering/wooing/clapping along in as the atmosphere was incredible - me being someone whose friends absolutely loathe me talking about Twilight - it made a nice difference. :) But yes, everyone seemed much better the next day. x
  7. Mine was Peter as he seemed to be thoroughly enjoying himself, and also Kellan. I can definatly see him making a re-appearance! Just out of curiosity, how much did the guest encounters go for in the end? x
  8. i think you were with the encounter with my best friend, did he sit on a girls lap at one point, cause that was her :) I have a picture of that if she wants it? oh god yes! ill send it to her, that'll make her day haha He sat on a few girls laps so apologises if this isn't her, but she was the first person's lap he sat on on the sat night sooooooo just presuming ^ That girl is so lucky! *wistful sigh* x
  9. Me and my best friend were ST29 and 30. Look after them!!!! We really want to go but we're waiting to see who else is going too. We'll probably end up being ticket numbers 400 and something. Stupid lack of money. ¬¬ x
  10. Thank you for all the wonderful comments! x
  11. Golden Sunrise Bella watched – captivated - as the sunrise danced in Edward’s ocher eyes. Too occupied by the blending of colours before him, he didn’t notice that his wife’s attention was elsewhere. “Beautiful.†He murmured quietly, shaking his head as if he couldn’t believe it was real. Bella smiled. Over a hundred years old and he still isn’t used to seeing the splendor of a simple sunrise! Her smile grew as he leaned forward in subconscious longing to be closer to it. “Yes, you are.†Little diamonds were beginning to dance across his skin as the sun took its first, shy peak of the day from behind the horizon, and Bella found she was as spellbound as she was the first time. “You’re not even watching!†He replied, a smile evident in his voice and on his face when he finally turned to face her. “I am,†Bella replied adamantly, eyes glistening ‘I can see it in your eyes and it’s much more beautiful.†Obviously not expecting that response, but pleased nonetheless, Edward collected himself, before running his knuckle reverently down her cheek as he had when they were in the very first stages of their relationship; as if she were still so delicate. Had she still been human, she knew they’d be burning and by the look on Edward’s face, so did he. “My beautiful Isabella,†He said; the lilting tones of his voice like a silent caress “Still so shy after all this time.†His smile, as crooked as ever if not more charmingly so, grew, as Bella diverted her eyes to the landscape before them in a futile attempt to escape his scorching gaze. “It’s your fault-†“For being so dazzling?†Bella eyes widened before narrowing with mock disdain at Edward, who sat there with his disarming smile still in place. “Yes,†Bella’s answering smile was wry “As always you seem to know exactly what I’m thinking before I say it. Maybe you’re not letting on as much as you know.†A small laugh escaped her lips. “Bella, my love, I assure you, I just know my wife very well…†Edward’s smile grew “And after a few glimpses into your complex female mind, everything I thought I knew was simply confirmed.†Bella turned her gaze back to Edward; looking him straight in the eye. “So you know I love you, without me saying it?†“Yes,†Edward lifted Bella’s pale hand “But it’s nice to hear all the same.†Her answering smile was heartbreaking and to Edward, all of a sudden the sunrise didn’t seem so spectacular anymore. “Forever,†She said softly, as he placed a gentle kiss on her palm “Forever.†-Wynona (16)
