Well I'm practically finished now. Only need to get a wig for the civil war party. I'm just going as any old peasanty-type person for the civil war. Alice from the graduation party the Cullen's threw - now I can just about get my leather trousers done up! - for Saturday, and new born Alice although I hated defacing my strait jacket. Hopefully it's enough that I pulled a couple of the seams apart a bit, so I could restitch it at a later date if I wanted to. I've also got Cafeteria Alice and Vote Alice outfits for the daytime although they're not fantastic, but as close as I could get with my dwindling funds! I'm sure you all know how that feels....

Well my strait jacket and civil war dress arrived today, finally. Got a minor alteration to make on the strait jacket. Also my latest batch of contact lenses came through. The hazel/honey ones aren't bright enough on my eyes nor are the Twilight ones! So I though I'd go a bit yellower to make them stand out. Do you think they're ok, colourwise?

Here's the pics. My normal brown colour With Twilight lens I've ordered some more in a different colour/style to see if they're any better - I'll let you know the results when I get them... Oooops. I ordered the Twilight contacts they other day. It does say it covers all your eye colour and as I have dark eyes I hope they do. They should come in the next couple of days and I'll let you know if they work on brown eyes!!!

I like all the themes - they're a challenge. I'm looking forward to wearing a strait jacket to the Newborn one though.

Personally I don't mind waiting to the last minute for guest announcements. It builds up the anticipation levels! I always think I wanna know who's next, but I'd rather wait than someone be announced and then cancel as has happened in the past. I know this isn't the fault of SM but it does cause disappointment, more with Billy Burke than Taylor Lautner for me... Anyway, I just love going to the parties and dressing up and meeting friends and making new ones. I am so excited and can't wait. I've been more than satisfied with both the previous con's and prom.

nope its not strange i have always wanted to do it as well but then how would you hold your drink maybe get charlie to hold it for you There is absolutely no way I would get Charlie to hold my drink!!!! I don't think I'd have one for long, would I? LOL I've had a wee look online, the real things are quite expensive. There's a fancy dress shop near me so I could always try on a mens one and maybe modify it. Failing that, I'd have to get out my sewing machine and make one from scratch - how hard can that be? add a little drinks pocket nd ur all set LOL
