  1. Hope that some kind of Stargate talk will be added, with having Ben Browder & Chris Judge in attendance I would be surprised if there isin't one.
  2. Can see why a lot of people are annoyed. In these tough economic times a lot of us don't exactly have extra money to fork out. An extra £15 for various talks on top of what someone was already planning to do can mount up. Personally I was already planning to go to the Hayden Panettiere talk and fully expected to need to pay for it, but there are other guests where I'm surprised that you need to pay for their talk. I'm just currently hoping that one of the free ones will be some kind of Stargate talks with Chris, Ben and possibly Jewel on the Saturday. Would like to see Normans talk but to me there would need to be at least 1 other Walking Dead cast member to justify paying extra.
  3. Something like this? (Though it is a lot easier to do in events of a smaller scale). http://massiveevents.co.uk/chevron79/htw.php?encounters
  4. I definitely believe that there should be some kind of tribute for the recently departed Joel Goldsmith. http://showmastersonline.com/forums/index....showtopic=75731
  5. As some of you might already be aware Joel Goldsmith, the famed composer behind all three Stargate television series (334 episodes) and two DVD movies, passed away on April 29 after a long battle with cancer. He was 54. Joel was the son of famed composer Jerry Goldsmith, who passed away in 2004. The two collaborated to create the score for Star Trek: First Contact in 1996. In 1997 Joel adapted David Arnold’s Stargate theme from the original feature film into the opening title sequence for Stargate SG-1. The composer also created the Emmy-nominated theme to Stargate Atlantis. He was nominated for two other Emmy Awards, including his music for the SG-1 Season One episode “The Nox” and the Atlantis Season Two episode “Grace Under Pressure.” He made his first move into video games music in 2006, scoring Call of Duty 3. During his final years, Goldsmith relocated to Hidden Hills, California, where he built a superior home studio in his backlot. It is often overlooked just how important music compositions are in a film or television show, but to me Joel was one of the greats. Since we will have guests from both Star Trek & Stargate at LFCC I personally feel that it would be fitting if Showmasters could arrange some kind of tribute in Joel's honour. To remember both the man and the outstanding compositions he created.
  6. Second this. Especially since Fringe has bet the odds and been renewed for a 5th Season!
  7. I'm actually going to try and see if I can crew for the first time. Been going to this con for a good few years and now a regular at LFCC, want to give something back
  8. Personally I hope that we will see Morgan in the next season.
  9. Really enjoyed the last 3-4 episodes of the season but it kinda dragged on a bit beforehand (especially before the mid-season break).
  10. A producer would be cool to have. Would certainly make a talk on The Walking Dead more interesting as they are privy to facts and details that most cast members aren't.
  11. This is actually hard as my choice for a perfect guest has already been announced to attend
  12. Just giving this topic an 8 month bump The current series he is staring in: Once Upon A Time, is proving to be rather popular. I still think that he would be an amazing guest to get and that he would be very popular.
  13. Reading the last few posts and now just imagining what the reaction would be like if it was Boris Johnson lol
  14. Lets not forget UK crime shows Bradley Walsh Harriet Walter Jamie Bamber Freema Agyeman John Simm Philip Glenister Keeley Hawes Liz White Dean Andrews Marshall Lancaster Alex Norton Blythe Duff John Michie Siobhan Redmond
  15. Be interested in seeing ones from Law & Order UK as well
  16. My selfish request: Can Jeri wear the catsuit she wore in Voyager for the whole day?
  17. Would love to meet anyone from Fringe. But if I had to pick one it would have to be John Noble, what an amazing actor!
  18. Just wondering is some kind of confirmation email normally sent back when you email crew@showmastersonline.com? I only ask as I sent an email about crewing a few weeks ago and not sure if it was received.
  19. I'll be practically bankrupt with the ones we already have, be in debt if you keep announcing such great guests
  20. Possibly silly questions about Gold Pass and talk tickets: I know that "Tickets will be held back for any Golden Programme Holders, and will be available to collect at the event when you pick up your pass." Does that mean when you collect your pass you have a selection of talk tickets to choose from and you would just pick one/ask for one for the talks you wish to go to? Also is there any chance of those held back talk tickets running out for any talk? (If not why are they needed when you could just show your Gold pass at the talk area).
