Well as David's wife if the niece of Sir Clement Freud who unfortunately passed away this week I'd say that was a very good reason and as you say, David wouldn't just cancel.

Fiona Walker has done stuff for Tenth Planet and is also married to Herbie Wise the director. Frances White has done Collectormania and John Cater has also worked with 10th Planet. I'd love and I,Claudius reunion!

Greedy buggers Murray Melvin and Richard Briers are the 2 most fascinating people I have ever met, in any capacity. Both have appeared in Torchwood and both have appeared for Showmasters/10th Planet before.

Frances is a rare Dr Who guest and much requested over the years, she also had a major part in I,Claudius which has it's own following.

And here. He'd made a great star turn at the party. She's also in Audio Dr Who, and she's very good in it actually.

Potatos, potatoes - bottom line is: get us some Croft/Lloyd guests! Actually, a re-union aint a bad idea, Wendy Richard would count towards the mooted Carry On re-union also, as would Amanda Barrie who was in an Ep of AYBS. I've a vague thought that Capt Peacock was in some Carry on but I may be wrong.

As it's the anniversary year I'd like Carol Ann Ford and William Russell together. Infact get Jeremy Young along and Warris Hussain and you can have a panel for the first story 'An Unearthly Child'. My dream though would be a panel featuring the first 4 directors, Warris, Richard Martin, Chris Barry and Frank Cox [who I don't think has ever appeared before].

Well, Maureen has already done a 'Dimensions' and a few signings for 10th Planet. Jackie has done signings for them but is said not to be keen on doing a convention again, but who knows? Stranger things have happened.

He was the Master in the Paul McGann TV Movie of Dr Who, he's the only major actor form that show who hasn't done a UK event so far.

I don't know about that but he's an actor who is also Julia Roberts brother.

Maybe 10th Planet can help out getting him, I would think they have contact with the US organisers.

Just noticed that the big US Dr Who con has Eric Roberts appearing! He would be a huge draw for UK Dr Who Fans as he's never appeared here, I guess he'd be a fairly big draw in his own right for everything else he's done too, he's been in CSI and the L Word which are both current, I seem to remember he's Oscar nominated also.

Another thing that isn't right is your spelling of Graeme's name! Actually, Bill doesn't seem to be interested in his Goodies fans so I seriously doubt he'd ever agree to something like a convention but having seen Graeme and Tim's Goodies show 3 times in Edinburgh and once in Brighton this year, (keep an eye out for the proposed tour next year!!), I can say without hesitation that they don't need Bill - they are comic geniuses and I can't wait to meet them (again!) To be fair to Bill, it's been fairly well publicised that he suffers from boughts of depression and doesn't keep particularly well sometimes, a bit like Stephen Fry, so I can understand why he wouldn't want to do a long signing. He was down to do a signing for the Dr Who CD he was in a few years ago but had to pull out so maybe just doesn't want to let people down. With regards to the Goodies Edinburgh shows, Bill had commitments with the BBC so filmed inserts instead [as I understand it] so didn't snub the re-union altogether.

So do we know if this is happening or not then?

You should give a few of those shows a go daz esp Buffy, Angel, Lost and 24! I met Kate O Mara at C10, she was lovely :) Howie, there are a lot of Dr Who fans out there who would want to meet her. Yeah I know, I just don't have the time!

Yes, I want Kate O'Mara's autograph. I for one have never watched an episode of Buffy, Angel, Smallville, Lost, 24, CSI where ever and LOTR and Harry Potter both bore me to tears but I'm happy for all those guests to come because then there is something for everyone, or most people anyway. Also Manchester is easier for me to get to because I'm in Edinburgh and MK is not only a bit of a trek but is a very long dull train journey away and ALL the hotels are always, always booked up well in advance, I know some of you are a bit disappointed but please remember the world doesn't revolve around you!

Well it's the best line up for a while for me as a Dr Who fan, especially if Guy Siner is added, Collectormania 10 also had some rare Who guests but I couldn't make it and for hacked off I missed Deep Roy especially!

Yes I know he was the voice of the early Daleks on TV but want to clarify if he was also an [uncredited] Dalek voice in the Peter Cushing movie if you know thanks.

I think he was also a Dalek voice in the first Dalek movie but uncredited, can anyone confirm?
