Yeh I heard this.... Its great news for his wife Amanda.. However I do think we need to think, he was taken for treatment of possible brain damage, so he may not be in the clear yet.. Also he may not come back to Top Gear, hes had crashes before, but something like that could really shake him up (even if he makes a full recovery). When I say this next part it is by no ways a replacement question, but obviously he will not be in this next series of Top Gear, which also means Top Gear Dog wont be so who will they get to come in and present with them... any ideas? maybe the German woman who did Nurbergring in a van? Will they show the footage on Top Gear? and why was he still racing, they were trying to break the landspeed record, but why was he still racing, they thought he had already done it earlier than day.. A Making good progress as he is now in a normal ward. Top Gear is to be 'posponed indefinatly' But looks like it WILL be shown sometime, probably after he is better. As to the land speed record, he had to do two runs one in each direction for it to count. Some records such as dragster ones need only be done once and in one direction.

As I posted back my aplication to work at C10 afew days after getting the crewing post. I was wondering why I had not had any reply yet. Has anyone got a reply? If the crew lost it, do I have to fill out another, or is it to late this time?

It has been mentioned in previous series, that the TARDIS has a 'mind of it's own'. So athough the Dr may have wanted to go to New York, the tardis somehow detected there was trouble going to hapen in London, and went there instead.

How about The Rock? He could count as either a WWE star or a film star as he has been in several films, Ie:- The Scorpion King, Doom, and the second Mummy film, plus others.

Please move if this is on the wrong section. How about Showmasters and the other organisers from Germany doing a G con in the UK? I know there are a lot of Godzilla fans in Europe and the UK. But as far as I know there has never been a 'big' Godzilla/Kaiju (giant monster) con in Europe. They all seem to be in Japan (obviously ) or the USA.

Has to be Brum, his home town. Mid UK, with good road,rail and air links.

Some good ideas about. Talking of them, will the person from Showmasters who I gave the 'T' shirt idea to be getting in touch, at some time to say if it is being used or not. I thought it was a good idea, that mixed both the bond and 10th event cellebrations in one 'logo'. As The Realm said, a lot of other events will be having Star Trek guests, so a few 3 or 4 would be enough.

Just wondering as I now have to PAY! at the local libary, when will Showmasters be sending out thier crew conformation e-mails, for C9? And being out of work means I cant use the net as much as I used to.

Just thought, it would mean that SM could have a second 'theme' of ST40th at this event as well. As they would have guests from all the different series. TOS.......... George Takei. TNG.......... Levar Burton, et all. DS9.......... Pat Tallman. Voyager.... Kate Muldrew. Enterprise.. Jonathan Frakes. ..(depends, if you count the fact that he was in the last episode)

VERY NICE PERSON!!!! Can remember when in the 80's my mum ran a ST fanclub. He stoped over for about 2Hrs at our house!!!!! This was as we had been asked to pick him up by the organizers of a con, and take him there. But we had to tell my dad what we were doing, hence the short delay.
