  1. I have shown the woman in question your posting. My fiancee says that you've made her smile - especially with the estimation of her age.
  2. No, it is Space 1889. Space 1889 is a Victorian-era with space flight roleplaying game and they made some audio novels a few years back.
  3. I spoke to Jim today - there will be Stargate books for both authors and audio novels for Jim on sale. It's a pity that Stargate Universe: Air, the novelisation of the pilot by Jim, will only be available at the end of November.
  4. There appear to be some details that need to be ironed out...at least that's what one of the authors told me.
  5. Giles takes the photos for Massive Events and passes them back to the organisers. I am sure they will let you know where the photos will be available from.
  6. after a small problem of my computor dying and loosing photoshop, i have finally re-installed it . i'm sending out Certificates tonight to the C14 lot, if there is anyone from the glasgow cosplay who didn't receive a certificate please e-mail me at cosplayatsm@googlemail.com with the following. Full name? What catagory you won in? Which Glasgow event was it? and i shall send you a Certificate by e-mail. all autograph voucher issues have now been passed on to showmasters. i hope you get it sorted soon, i have passed on everyones details who won at C14, as i was not at the last glasgow event i do not have these details. LD
  7. Right. I thuoght I'd throw my 5p in as I was originally the weapons guy for Ladyd at the cospaly events as I am an registered airsofter and I do medieval weapon training. As Showmasters have hired the venue for a private event, costumers with airsofting kit (the bb guns) are allowed to have them inside the building. The only main condition would be to make sure that if you have an Automatic Electric Gun (AEG) that you remove the battery. As for springers (or the cheaper plastic ones) just don't spam them. Having the magazine out generally is preferrable, however if no one notices then good for you. In some cases it is possible to make a cardboard magazine. No pointing or brandishing of the firearms unnecessarily - unless it's for photos. When having photos taken, please be mindful of other people. It can be alarming for someone to turn around and be staring straight at a barrel, expecially if they are a guest. For the most part it's common sense. Unless the usual Collectormania MKs, this is not in a shopping centre so it will be like attending LFCC or any of the other events. The only thing I will most likely be watching for is metal swords or weapons that fall in that category. Also, if the either of the two usual security guys stop you and ask questions or want to give your kit a once over, just answer them. They're not there to stop you from having fun, just make sure everything is ultimately safe for the guests.
  8. You'll have to contact SM about where the pictures are going to be displayed.
  9. Actually I think most of us men were in the crew :)
  10. I am so glad I was at home when I saw that picture :) Made my evening.
  11. yeah, that's when everything changed with regards to him posting the photos on his website.
  12. I was in with the guys when they gave it to you - and it was amusing sitting in the bar area with you and Lauren H discussing what is was and coming up with names. Hello there! I was far too amused by the name at the time and it's just stuck now, but he was definitely a hippo despite what other people where saying ... I almost left him in the bar area, I got into the car park and realised that I'd left him on the table and ran back in like a mad thing to get him heh. I said it was a hippo - Andy, the other guy, said it wasn't. Mind you I've seen enough of them back home to know what they look like :) Hello hello! Hello to you too. :) It was a pity the two of you had to leave early to catch the train back - would have been fun to chat over the sunday night.
  13. There was handcuffing going on over the weekend - hope did I get to miss all the fun?
