Should I try for over optimism and hope for more Firefly people?

Hi, does anyone know how and where to get a bus from Victoria Coach station? I've heard of direct ones but if not I'll tube it to Heathrow and get a cab from there, also anyone know which terminal is closest to the hotel?

I don't like buffy much it's a passable show but I can't quote it like I do with firefly likewise with angel, it was only really good in season 1 with Doyle so I only want to meet Tony for merlin and gold blend ads (adverts from my youth) and not really wanting steph (*wolfram and hart did nothing for me) no offense steph but thats the role were paying to see.

I quite like the idea of saving passes, most of mine are in the envelope from Hub 1(well by most I mean all Hub ones).

Oh and he's Crowley in Supernatural who was a big story in season 6! (actually every ones does its not SPN without big story lines). Oh and he was in Leverage.

On reflection it was male peers as I have only had one female boss in my lifetime. As regards the fictional character of Gwen, and not the real one of me, she works/worked in an industry that is dominated - although not so much these days as in days gone by - by men. The security services, including the Police, are male dominated and thus I see her character as one wanting to prove she fits in. To me, this is a case of a strong woman wanting to show her male peers that she is as good as, if not better, than them. I do not see that as a bad reflection on women. Being "more shouty" is a sign, in my opinion, that Gwen is confident in being able to become more vocal. As regards any emotional side, I do not see anything wrong with that at all. But what about Tosh, mmm, she doesn't see the need to prove herself, OK so she looks at Jack as the kindly father figure and wants him to see she's done good seeing as what happened when she did something bad I'm not surprised she wants him on her side. As for the security services and police I can only go on Spooks and The Bill and say its getting fairly equal rather then male dominated. Gwen sees herself as better not equal then everyone up to and possibly including Jack at many points. I mean look at Gwen centric episodes we see Gwen doing police work on her own (in Adrift there was the odd bit of help) but you never get to see that from anyone else it grated when she kept spurting out she had a boyfriend at home and a life outside the office whist the others didn't. Hmm, in To The Last Man when Tosh was told she'd be with Tommy when he was sent back and how he died, even faced with the most heartbreaking thing ever she didn't shout like Gwen does. In Adrift when faced with evidence that it wasn't possible to predict where a negative rift spike was going to take place or that it last long enough to get out the door to investigate she fumed, like they were all wrong not to investigate and she was right to do so even with just 2 seconds to locate and get to the location. p.s. What's wrong with Mark Sheppard, Badger was quite adorably evil.

If person x and y know each other and decided to do it and NEITHER are profiting by getting anything extra except things done quickly, then how is is a problem HOW they do it, I mean with the exception of getting an extra auto/photo by blagging which in fairness can't be done because you need those little booklets its not really hurting anyone because you still have the same queue in front of you for auto/photos and just a quick pass check to be allowed into the halls. OK, so what is the right way to look at it, from what I've seen, its only the hall talks that have been the major problem no-one has thus far mentioned photos/autos and getting extra but only quicker. All I can see is a talk problem and a time lag problem if both parties get what they paid for.

So the problem is person x with a gold pass swaps with person y with, say a silver, either to get certain autos/photos quicker or a better seat at the talks. Now this much I don't see as a problem, both have paid and if they swap at photos/autos no-one's losing out, as they long as they get the one auto/photo each and don't try and get a second for free, and either way the queue isn't increasing/decreasing by one. Is there not an auto/photo booklet to tick off for all cons or was it just the Hubs? (this is my first proper non Hub con) As for talks, how about not letting anyone in without a pass no matter what, saves on having problems of seating issues and seeing as we now have designated gold/silver areas how about a member of crew at the edge of each one checking only those tickets can go to a certain area? I'm pretty certain I had my pass checked for gold seating every time I sat down at one of the previous Hubs, although I've also had my seat nicked with stuff on it. Just saying, there are always ways around it.

If by Friday no guest is announced, I think my optimisim for any new guest will be expecting 'actor in season 7 ep 9 and only in scene three, standing next to wall'.

I really don't like the idea of not being able to take off a wrist band, I have a T In The Park one and it gets everywhere, have almost set fire to myself cooking while wearing it and its taken me a right why to adjust and get use to it. Also, wrist bands act like a marker being gigs/concerts/festivals rather then cons (at least any good one). Also, if I leave the con for any reason, it'd ruin my outfit and most likely crumble in the shower if its paper based.

Passes, mainly cos it separates cons from gigs for me and plus wristbands are mainly plastic/paper affairs and really easily scratches my skin and pulls on my old wristbands, also lifting my arms if they are full of things is asking for trouble.

Yes, but, do you want the approval of all your peers or just the male ones? Cos with Gwen its just the male ones. I don't see how she's become stronger just more shouty and easily upset if someone sees her differently. Hehe, I love Tosh, all her faults were written on her sleeve, she came back from losing her lover on many occasions to be stronger. Her last conversation with Owen showed how strong a woman she had become under Jack's tuition and nurture, to hear the man you love die is heartbreaking enough, to believe your the course of it is worse. RIP Tosh.

I'm staying at the thistle and seeing as my expectations of a hotel is clean, comfy with a lockable door I think I'll be fine.
