  1. It's how Amber described this photo:
  2. I'd like to add a big thank you to all the crew, you are all so helpful and always happy to take photos for me, for which I am very grateful.
  3. Amber was funny when she saw which photo I'd chosen she shouted, "You chose the dirty one!" and when I told her I'd enjoyed Chance she said "Sorry for all the dirty words".
  4. I was a bit awestruck when I met him (childhood ambition fulfilled) but he was very pleasant and was nice again at the photoshoot.
  5. If the Sam Anderson picture was the one of Bernard in the rain then it was probably Stay Dry, he wrote that on a friend of mine's picture. 6. I still say that the "Golden Girl" image of Shirley Eaton is as iconic as Ursula, let it not be forgotten that for many people Goldfinger is the definitive Bond film and if you were to ask most people to name a Bond film it would be the first one they said. Don't get me wrong, I agree that many people are disappointed because the Bond guests aren't of a higher level, I'm not personally and in my opinion it isn't any less a reunion because of it, sure it would be great to have all the rare guests but the guests who are coming all played significant roles in their respective films (with the exception of Burt Kwouk, but he deserves to be there for other reasons). Yes, the Coreys had big parts in The Lost Boys but they weren't the stars. Corey Feldman wasn't even on the poster! Anyway I'll be leaving soon for MK and am looking forward to a great weekend. It's been fun discussing this with you!
  7. I never said Shirley was more of an icon, I said she was featured in the most iconic image from the Bond movies, there is a difference. I'm not saying it's anyyone's fault that the reunion isn't as good as everybody hoped, why does blame need to be credited to anyone. Showmasters advertised a Bond reunion, this they have delivered, nowhere did they say it would be a super-duper mega reunion with loads of rare guests. Why does a reunion have to have guest of a higher level? Sure we'd all love all the Bond Actors all the living villains and all the Bond Girls but it isn't going to happen, was the Lost Boys reunion inferior because it didn't have the stars of the movie (Keifer Sutherland, Jason Patric)? How many of the big stars were at C7's Star Wars reunion?
  8. Although I had hoped for a lot more I have voted that it is an acceptable reunion. It's not great and I don't think this is Showmasters fault, they probably tried to get lots more people but for various reasons couldn't get them. I'm happy with all the guests as I'm a relative newcomer to such events (this is my fourth) and haven't met any of them. I'm especially pleased to be meeting George Lazenby and Maryam D'Abo who, let it not be forgotten, was the main Bond Girl in her film, not some lesser character. It should also be remembered that although Shirley Eaton's character in Goldfinger had only a few minutes of screen time, her screen death is the source of the most iconic (together with Ursula Andress in the bikini) image of all the Bond films.
  9. Was half expecting it with the unconfirmed days but am still disappointed.
  10. You'll probably receive a letter in the next couple of days, take either this or your statement to the organisers booth which is by Costa Coffee, there you will be given all the relevant stuff (goodie bag, autographs and of course the pass itself and any talk tickets you want (if there are any talks this time)). After that it's easy just find a queue and flash your pass at the crew member giving out tickets and he or she will let you join the ened of the queue.
  11. Noooooooooooooooooooo. Although there are plenty of people there I want to meet, Helen was the one I was most looking forward to, damn!
  12. The basic Goody Bag is the same whichever you go for, the choice only affects the autograph pack you are given, so basically it depends which of those themes you would most like autographs from.
  13. But surely the fact that it is inside makes it more legitimate. If they were doing it outside it would be a sneaky, underhand act but the fact that it is inside means that SM have paid the organisers of the other show to have a stall and that the other show's organisers are aware of what SM are doing and have no problem with it.
  14. Excellent, John lives in the States so it's nice to get the opportunity to get him.
  15. No he didn't, Jeff East played the young Clark Kent, apparently this is a common error due to their similar looks (according to imdb).
  16. Mainly Best Wishes or similar but Nathan put "Shoot First!", Maggie put "Cheers!" and Jorge put "Aloha" and added steam lines to the cup of tea he is drinking in the photo.
  17. That is what I did, parked for free at Morden and tubed in. Unfortunately somebody decided to throw themselves in front of a train at Tooting on my way home so I ended up sat on a hot bus for over an hour between Brixton and Morden.
  18. The photo pre-signed by Mark Hamill was a shot of Leia, Luke, Han and Lando.
