It's amazing how many people i know who like sci-fi stuff but had never heard of Collectormania and i live in Manchester. Shame that a bit more general advertising might have helped this event out more. I found out about it in a comic shop but i know plenty of people who like the shows and actors but aren't into Collectables at all so don't set foot in the shops

I ordered something on Amazon which was dispatched on 29th dec and it only arrived yesterday but my friend ordered a cd a week ago and had it 2 days later. very odd

I like the effects. nice to have some things floating outside of the screen in 3d. if you're gonna see this at the cinema i would recommend 3d as when it comes out on dvd you can watch it 2d all you want.

The books are a little different from the series. for example a certain character dies in season 2 of the show but in the books its a total different scenario.

I wear glasses too. guess it depends where you go. I went to the printworks in Manchester and we got supersized glasses which were fairly comfy
