Hi All, I'm a bit perplexed! I have come back after nearly 2 years away and it seems so quiet. There's more shows but not as many guests, I have made two posts and it looks as if the thread i added to died and nobody is interested in the thread i put in. So I shall say hello to all and can you fill me in on whats been going on, how people are, what people are up to. The reason I have been away so long is a long story. Life i guess just got in the way of fun. I met my man at CM and we've been together for over 4 years now and we both are wanting to go to a convention this year. I concur! I would suggest Kiran Shah also. He is wonderful and it's always a pleasure to see him. Lawrence would be great but I'm sure unless he is back in europe with his tats that he wouldn't travel this far. Sala is always cool, not seen him in years it would be nice to catch up. Royd was a great guy too and always a giggle even if he was telling my Dad i was snorting coke at CM when he came to pick me up (Dad knew he was joking and went along to wind me up) Thomas is such a lovely guy and yes that would be so great to see him again. I would love to meet Sir Ian M and given the opportunity to see Sean A again would jump at the chance! hugs andrea x

Hey SM, Hey all!! It's been a while since i have been to a con, I went from being an avid attendee to kinda losing it a bit but i want to go to a convention this year and so far nothing seems to excite me! I want to be like i used to be at the thought of a convention, I want the joy and elation of meeting an idol of mine or catching up with people I have already met. With that in mind I thought I would give a list of the people that would make that happen for me, make me want to go to the con so much that if i dont i will be devastated. Here it goes: 1. David Hewlett - DGeek himself... I am a squirrel! If you guys got him i would be there with bells on and would be eternally greatful. 2. Anyone from the DeLuise family (Peter, Michael or Pop DeLuise) 3. With the Hobbit looming bring back som LotR guests or get new ones like Sir Ian! 4. David Tennant 5. John Simm 6. Stephen Fry the guy is amazing!! 7. I know he wont come over but see if Wil Wheaton may change his mind, perhaps do a book signing of his new book. (The Happiest Days of our lives.. out the 30th May so go buy it!!) Seven is a good number, I shall leave it there. The possibilities are endless though guys!! In the past I have spend literally thousands of pounds at SM events. I have been to one in 2 years, i think its time to try and pull back all those ardent fans as well as bringing new blood to conventions, the atmosphere, the thrill of meeting like minded people and of being asccepted whether you are hobbit or klingon!!! Alan Ruck is a mega star.............why was nobody queueing??? Hes not only cool, funny, and a hottie but he.......was such a gantleman.........and he made me one thing i never am(wasnt even with billy) awe struck! i was gushy as hell.....hes very sexy! and love the accent! please tell me someone feels the same or even likes this wonderful actor.......
