You know Whoopi doesn't fly at all I take it? She does. She doesn't like it though. I've seen an interview with her discussing it when she flew to London a few times with regards to the Sister Act Musical tour. So, here is hoping Last thing I saw was The Captains Summit, hosted by her, with Shatner, Nimoy, Stewart & Frakes chatting about cons etc. and her words were "I don't fly"....I know the Sister Act thing was a big thing for her but then she had a lot invested in it (my mum was a big Whoopi fan before she died) that's why I'm not gonna get my hopes up as it would be a near miracle! Lol

Yes, I'll be there. Looks likes it's very close from the venue map. It is more expensive which might have put some people off. But it looks like the coolest hotel from what I can tell. Yep, I'm there too....only booked it Tuesday through Olotel.com £122 in total! Confirmed by the hotel!

A friend of mines father deals in film and tv memorabilia and wants to know more about getting a table at the show. He has been doing film fairs etc. for over 20 years but wants to try EMS. Is there a link he can go to for more info?

Getting memorabilia signed... Are we going to be restricted on items we can get signed like some other cons where it has to be officially licensed items only and only from Trek? I ask because I have a nice BSG canvas I am working on that I would like Ronald D Moore to sign.....

I had 3 photoshoots booked including one that has apparently sold out for the saturday which they can do nothing about. To be honest I have not upgraded and am thinking of staying standard and just buying the extras. They didn't instill any confidence in me that this could be done with out hiccup and the fact that the refund wasn't a priority was another put off.

I spoke to seetickets just this week:- I'm in a similar situation, I have a 3 day standard ticket and 3 photoshoots. I wanted to upgrade to silver. I was told they could do it but I would have to rebook EVERYTHING then contact them with the new booking number before they would refund. They said the refund wouldn't be a priority and that if items sold out they could do nothing about it.

At least have a couple of pc's setup up with the game on so people can play on a big screen, maybe arrange some fleet events etc...(timed of course! ;-)) Plus any freebies they feel like bringing of course!

Jason, thanks for replying. Please believe me when I say I love yours shows and all that you do. Admittedly there are a couple of things where you fall short but hey no one is perfect! I understand what you are saying about emails etc. and I do think though when people are trying to be supportive and help you and the shows a simple email isn't much. 50 emails a week isn't that much but if you have limited staff then I understand. See you at the next event.....maybe we'll even talk for once instead of the customary good morning in the gold pass line..

You'll be lucky to get a reply. I messaged SM in several different ways about an actor I know who is also interested. Never once got a reply, not even a no thanks, not interested. Quite rude really not even to reply.....
