  1. Make it another one who would like to know about parking. If you can't park in Elstree and Tesco you can only park in for a few hours. I'm going to have to find a pay and display. Add all day parking and petrol cost it might workout cheaper to get the train so it would be nice to know info on parking. The Event has been booked for months so I'm sure the people hosting the event could of found out about parking by now.
  2. And a limit of how long you can stay there before being clamped! Max stay is around 3-4 hours, and thats if you are shopping there. I'll just park up at Elstree unless i am told otherwise by the powers that be That's true about Tesco our local one says the same. I will try the studio car park first. Have we been told we are actually allowed to park in there?
  3. I agree we ain't had too much info so far. I'm still not sure if to drive or get the train. We ain't been told if parking is available at the site or any of the times. Part of me now wishes I never bought the tickets and saved my money for something else. (I have a nagging feeling that the day is going to be a let down)
  4. It's got on the main website a price for the photoshoot but it's not in the shop yet
  5. Hope he does a photoshoot I would most likely get one. Loved him in Buffy and Merlin. More Merlin guests please!!!
  6. Yeah think I will most likely just do the talk. Not to worried about a auto or photograph. My friend might get a photo done but is not too sure yet.
  7. When you go to the page where you can buy the tickets, it's explained there, what is included in the price. "Price includes a seat at the 45 minute talk plus a limited edition print." Ah thank you. I'd not been into the shop thanks.
  8. Was thinking of getting tickets for her talk. I know it's quite early to ask but how long would her talk go on for roughly? Would it be a hour which would be worth the money or only about 30 mins?
  9. My dream guest would be Sarah Michelle Gellar. I know there is most likely no chance but a guy can dream
  10. Is it easy to park around there? I might drive but it all depends on parking.
  11. It's not a bad drive for me, but I'll only go if there are a couple of guest I want to meet. Please can we cut down on the Dr Who's guest this time. I know it's popular and I enjoy the show but just to many at the moment.
  12. Saturday was quite nice. Not too busy. Stalls nicely spaced apart. Big problem was not being allowed to use the stairs to leave the building and having to queue to use the lift. So we had to queue up for about 10 mins to get out. Can't see why the stairs could not be used as Showmasters staff where using them.
  13. Karen was one of the best guests I've met. Always with a smile, acknowledge me with a smile when given me back my photo when signed. I got lucky with the photoshoot. Had it done but as I walk away I was called back to have it retaken so got to put my arm around her again for a 2nd time and got that bit longer with her When I got her to sign the photo of us in the afternoon it was the first one she had signed from the photoshoot and she let out a little scream of happiness that she got to see how they had come out. Awesome guest, she made it a great day and also she is so much prettier in real life than t.v. as well.
  14. I really enjoyed it and love it when you get the big guests. I might not always want to meet them but it just adds something special to the show knowing that they are there. Now how about topping it all for next time Jason and getting my dream guest Sarah Michelle Gellar (I know I've got no chance but I can dream)
  15. To be honest I'm surprise that swords can be bought from stalls at the show.
  16. What a great day. Got there just after 7.30am and was surprise to see the queue already so large. We came early to see Karen as normally we get there about 8.15am past years and we seem to be in the same spot in the queue this year We went straight to Karen's desk to get VT tickets and got 208 and 209. Excellent. We then looked around at the dealers tables while waiting for the Karen Photoshoot we had 131 and 132. Had photo done and as I walked out I got called back to have another photo done as the first one must have had something wrong with it so I got to spend double time with Karen and put my arm around here twice We then went to the local pub for a spot of lunch and then came back looked around the rest of the dealers tables and then went to see if our pictures had arrived. After finally making it to the table we got our pictures and then waiting for Karen at her autograph booth ready for when she finished her talk. I was the first one to get the photoshoot picture signed and she scream in excitement at being able to see how the picture turned out. She signed it and looked up at my smiled and said thanks. Karen was lovely and did great. Being really relaxed in the photoshoot and taking time to look up and smile when giving back her autograph. I heard she gave up her lunch break to be able to sign more pics. Excellent guest 10/10 for her
  17. I love the Forcecast. Jason and Jimmy make me laugh. Also saw them at MGM Studios at the Last Tour to Endor at C5 last year, both walk right in front of me.
