Dundee , that makes you the Scottish Lara in my book there are a multitude of people that can help with houlsters and belt buckles that aren't that expensive . You're Lara if she had a Scottish accent , be her , you have most of it down already , just BELIVE IN YOU'RE SELF oh and once you're done , try looking at the 501st UK GARRISON they have a seperate group called REEL ICONS these are movie related costumes (batman , spidernam , Trinity ,Neo , Blade Ghostbusters )you know the stuff . why not give them a try , it has to be movie accurate , if you're cosy isn't there's plenty of peeps in the UK that can lend a hand

I fel it my duty to lead this , It never really dawned on me JUST how busy Jason and the team at Showmaster really ARE . I understand now just the presure you are under , and it takes a lot to produce Just one event as is . From a young adult i'd seen pics of cons in the USA and wished somthing like this would be done in the UK , it was with gerat amazment that it came to my home land , and hope it never stops . It gives me a , and alot of other people to troop and enjoy our collective hobbies TOGETHER , it's really just us geeks (if you could call us that )a chance to be with (even for a short time) like minded people , and in Scotland there are sadly but a few ( but numbers are growing) I suppose we all owe a deep gratitude to Jason and the Team at Showmasters for , really giving us this chance to do this ,whithout having to travel MASSIVE distances down south . so i think we owe it to the them , NOT JUST to make this show THE BEST EVER IN SCOTLAND . But as a collective group (no matter which costuming club or organisation we belong to ) as the PINICLE of Scottish costumers and Sci fi or collectible fans So, Jason and Showmasters staff , please take my heart felt apoloigies if i have ever made you guys fell the hard work you put in wasn't enough , i promise from know on to try and understand the BIGGER picture . well i've seen the photos , and it looks awsome , yous guys WILL want a photo taken i can asure you . Well i'm not too fussed really , just an allround good variety of guests , obviously i'm the same , any Starwars guys or gals . Kind a hope Warrick can make it this time or Kenny .

was that you in August in you're Commisar . I'd have thought that riding boots would be more fitting for the costume . I have a bolt pistol build i'm working on using the nerf recon as the base

believe it or not it was ebay , these are East German army boots or Knobelbecher in German . If you ebay German army boots , you might find then too expensive , but ebay the German name "Knobelbecher" and you'll find them from German ebay which with shipping (if you find the right pair )should be slightly cheaper . bear in mind if you don't read German (like me )you might need someone to translate for you now the next thing is size , if you google "shoe size chart" you should get a table to help you out (remember and try images)

this will put quite a blow to guys that are part of the Stargate costuming groups , i understand the bill quite well and fully support show masters for making sure that the events are run in acordance with UK law and the public made to feel safe . How dose this effect people that are members of the 501st and the UKCM , as the weapons aren't real there science fictional . if some say someone has a stormtrooper e11 would that be ok . Or like my custom mando which has a cheap airsoft body with all internals and working parts removed and has been mod'ed and painted to look like it's from the star wars univers , how would that fit in

and excuse me , but just what was wrong with the origional series , hhmmm . lol yup anybody , we only have 2 guests at the moment , so really anyone from any series or movie , new or old . because without the guests then there would be no show , if no show then no autographs , no collectabiles , no sweating buckets inside costumes , no predators , no stormies , no trekkies and we'd be all sick as parrots moping about the house wondering why there are so many repeats on tv but i know showmasters will be on the ball with guests i mean these guys are busy with shows all the time

It struck me recently that counting props, costumes, replica props, toys, and other Collectables, I have never seen my entire collection in the same place at the same time. Some of it is always in storage. aint that the truth dude , i'm the same ,it's mostly toys and collectibles ,comics that sort of thing well hopefully i'll be trooping with the UK Garrison this time around , but i should be able to get round the tables

as far as i can see not much has changed , their just making sure that they are following the law set down by the VCRA or violent crimes reduction act . which in part states that no imitation firearm can be modified to look like a realistic imitation firearm . eg . you can take a kiddies toy (imitation firearm) and make it look like the real thing (realistic imitation firearm) if you're a registed airsofter then you're p90 should be safe if it dosn't have the battery in or a loaded mag. if in doubt i'm sure one of the mods will chime in ,as it's quite an important subject
