Yay, more Primeval guests!!! Edit: Just noticed they are attending different days. Damn it!

I've had an issue before with personalisations. When I met a previous guest I asked him not to personalise and he did and then clearly saw the disappointment on my face when I realised he had personalised it but basically accused me of wanting to sell it on ebay. I was quite disgusted, I have never and won't ever sell any of my autographs but they personalised on a group shot and I had to explain it just looked messy and took up all the picture and none of the other cast had personalised! As a fan I'm quite offended when people's first thought is that we just go and sell them! He apologised and did me another auto for free but the guest encounter was ruined and really put me off said guest. I have 3 small post cards, one of which I would like Gillian to sign, unpersonalised so I can frame all 3 and put them up on my wall without them looking too cluttered and so you can still see the picture. I hope she won't have an issue with this.

Pre paid is really just anther way to spread the cost though.

Sorry but you are absolutely wrong. Any guest i'm sure can dictate what they will and won't autograph no matter how much they are charging. If Gillian chooses not to sign FHM covers then she has every right to refuse that, and no-one is forcing you to buy an autograph. Secondly, you say "she want's 45 for an autograph", where has SM stated the price for her autograph? Where did you hear this? That's right, hearsay. Don't complain about the amount Gillian will charge for an autograph when SM haven't even announced it yet. Her price is on the main website. Many of us have checked, maybe you should! Ah well i never check the website, I only read the forum and it wasn't said for definite in this thread. Well not everything is can be updated all at the same time so I check every now and again.

This is very good reasoning and I think you have a very good point. I think she's been great in other things but it's the X-Files I'm really into so that's what I'll be looking to get signed. Doesn't mean I won't comment on her other work too as I appreciate it but in terms of what I want to keep as a memory, it'll be X-Files related. Thank you. :) Yes if I'll be able to attend the con, which I'm not sure at this point I'll probably get an X-files picture, or even a poster signed, for the obvious reason. But let's say if I could meet her after a play I'd definitely choose a picture related to it, or fresh picture of her, showing I'm interested in her other work too.:) And I know many people are interested in her for only X-files and I totally understand that, I just try to view it from her point of view too. It's like I worked at a big company, then I transfer to an other one, but the people just keep asking about my old job even after years. :) I think it's simple as that. :) I'm interested in her for X Files, Bleak House and Great Expectations but given the fact of her not usually signing X Files I will be getting something X File related signed.

I've never chosen a glamour photo to get signed. Although if they're supplied at the pay desk I suppose it's all ok but I agree it could be uncomfortable in some cases. I like to get something connected to the show or film the person has been in as it's usually because of a particular film/show that I'm meeting the person. I agree. It's only when I have met a person multiple times i.e. Nicole de Boer that I will then get something non work related, lol.

Yep if you have already paid for Jeri's auto then you will get it no matter what time you get there I believe but at the moment unless pre paid autos for Gillian go on sale you will need a low VT to ensure you get her auto just in case she's really busy.

Last year I think it was mentioned that if you had standard tickets and you had booked photoshoots that were taking place before 11am you could join the pay on the day ticket queue and pay the extra to get in early. As you have shoot tickets you will get your photo but if you want an autograph you will need a low VT which you probably won't get if you wait and go in on a standard ticket. I'm sure a mod will confirm or deny this soon though!

On a slightly different note I know that both Kristy Swanson and Charisma Carpenter have previously refused to sign their Playboy mags, I've seen them reject them, again politely. As a girl it's sometimes even more awkward because sometimes the picture I really want to get signed I decide against as it may look a bit weird depending on the guest. I truly believe that you get a better time and experience if you get non glamour stuff signed. I may not even get Gilian's auto on a photo of her at the moment.

I'm a bit disappointed it's on the same date as another event. Means I'm going to have to choose.

We normally get an announcement when photo shoots run out I assume we'll get one when this runs low? Sorry just can't afford to buy one yet!

Tony is great, his talks are funny and he has the most contagious giggle! Don't know if I can justify a 4th photo with him though

Ewan has done book signings before. Sarah has signed for people but I don't know if at an event. I know she's been at the other big US con but previewing stuff. I'd be surprised if it was SMG as her price must be big as she's working on Ringer, I just can't see it. I think I'd faint if it was her even though I'm far too old and sensible to be acting like that :) would be a real coup for SM but realistically I don't think it will be though she would fit the little info we have so far. Pretty sure she's only signed at premieres and so on. We will just have to wait and see, though why does it have to wait until Monday? I've already got 20 autographs on a Buffy box just waiting for her lol. I doubt it though. The guessing continues!
