Hiya, would there be any chance of getting Paul to come over in November? I know I'd love to meet him again, and I'm sure plenty of other folk would! Anyone else with me on this? He's great fun, and it would be awesome to see him and Teryl together... the two docs! How can that not be full of win? Come on guys, pleeeeease can we have Paul?

Driving down from Scotland, planning on getting there around lunchtime. All depends on the roads, though.

I'll being wearing my Jack costume (various shirts and stuff) a lot of the time, but I've also just finished a UNIT costume, which got it's first run out at airsoft last week... although I still need to order me a G36C rifle to finish it off- my G36K just doesn't look quite right. I may do something else when the party themes are announced, but I got plenty to play with as it is

I would love for John to be there- met him at Collectormania, but would really like to meet him in the more relaxed setting of a weekend con- collectormania was mental, and as he was so busy I didn't feel comfortable really saying much, as I wouldn't want someone to miss out on an auto because others were hogging the guest's time :) He was still lovely and friendly though I would agree that if they do approach him, it would be better to announce him a few weeks before, when they can be pretty certain that he won't cancel rather than months in advance when the very busy bloke's schedule is still up in the air. Also it would mean that the people who aren't just there for one guest get a reasonable shot at getting the gold tickets if they want them, rather than them all scarpering because of John, and those same folks who only bought gold because of JB moaning if the man then cancels because of other commitments. So far I'm happy with the guest list- haven't met either Tom or Eve, so that's brilliant. Would be a mahoosive bonus if JB was there though!

Mate just cancelled, so I'm another who'll be mooching about on me own, probably- will be dressed as Jack Harkness on the Sunday, and possibly on the Saturday too, depending on how flights work. Feel free to come say hiya That's me:-

Why thank you! I actually put that together to play airsoft in, the cosplaying side of things is secondary for that gear... which means it all looks very "used". It's well comfy as well

Have to say that I'm surprised at the amount of negativity going on here. Subject to work commitments is standard for any guest attending any event. Yes, I was disappointed when I saw that JB wouldn't be attending as I'd been really looking forward to meeting him, but the guest list is still absolutely mahoosive- very few, if any of the previous events I've been to (that includes other stuff by showmasters and massive events, as well as many events run by various other organisers) have had this many guests. I heard about this too late to get anything other than standard, but if I could have gotten gold or silver I would have. That hasn't changed with the lack of JB, I would still have happily stumped up that money for the higher level of ticket as the guestlist is brilliant. We have got big names (GDL and JM) even if JM is a sponsored guest, and I for one think it's still gonna be an ace weekend. Must admit that I'm finding it interesting that the discussion on this over on the Torchwood Forum is far more positive.... I would have expected it to be the other way around, but the fans over there seem to recognise how busy the bloke is right now, and that sometimes these things can't be helped. I'm not having a go at anyone, this is just my opinion, so please don't flame me lol.
