  1. I think Reg E Cathey is also in the UK, hes playing the morgan freeman character in the stage show of the shawshank redemption, he would be very cool to get . Showmaster, please lets have some wire people
  2. Definately think it will be a different, but equally cool experience the second time round. Just waiting for Treme to come out now, next year I think.
  3. Michael Parks would be very cool indeed. But anyone from dusk till dawn
  4. I notice hes going to the Copenhagen convention, which seems to be sharing most of its guests with this one. So any chance getting him to come along to this?
  5. Your right, generation kill and the corner arent as good as the wire. But its not really a like for like comparison. You have five seasons of the wire to get in with all the characters, learn like them (even the unlikeable etc), really care about the plot how it progresses etc. GK and the C are only what 6 episodes each, so you just dont get to spend that much time with any of the characters. One of my mates said to me that in an ideally world he could erase any memory of watching the wire, so he could go back and experience it all over again. Let me know what you think of GK
  6. No way, he would be amazing. The coolest person around. Also, as one of our friends further up the thread advised me, the corner is also very very good show, check it out, also generation kill is very good. They may partially fill the whole left by the wire.
  7. SM, please can we have some Watchman guests?
  8. I thought this was a terrible movie, although that didnt stop me totally enjoying myself. When i wasnt goggling at the the seemingly never ending fight scenes (this isnt a bad thing) I was laughing at the god damn awful script/plot. I would also like to see some GIJOE guests, lets hope they make number 2 (and while their doing it take that lips of snake eyes' suit, it looked rediculous).
  9. I agree, lets get some of the cool ones from the 80s. Rob Van Dam (I know hwa been before but i totally missed him, and he is kind of from the 90s - 00s, oh well). Jake the Snake Roberts Jim the Anvil Neidhart Ultimate Warrior to name the first few that sprung to mind
  10. Yeah Richard Obrien would be very cool. Dark City is a wicked film, if anyone hasnt seen it, definately check it out.
  11. Any of the people from inglorious basterds would be super cool. After seeing the film the one i want to see most is Christoph Walz who is amazing in it.
  12. ??? I think you mean that con Empire magazine does (which isn't really a con). They are merely showcasing the 5 min teaser for Iron Man 2 and one for Sherlock Holmes...or am I missing something here? I cant believe RDJ was already at a con in London. He was at the empire movie con, which was super cool to see, but he literally came on stage, waved, thank people, talked for 2 mins then went off. Which dont get me wrong was very cool, but as the others have said, tis a completely different kettle of fish to sitting round signing autographs for two days. Im still hoping though
  13. Ill chuck my twopence into this. Grindhouse cast would be AMAZING. Pence, chucked.
  14. Ditto, for the last year or so ive only ever been getting a couple of autographs (which is still very cool with me, as i enjoy it and i dont have to go without food for the following month). This LFCC im getting about 6 autographs, its been a few years since ive wanted this many people. I guess whats splitting everyone is that the usual shows which are the stable diet of most convention goers are represented, but noone you that there hasnt been an opportunity to meet before. So for the people who really like these shows and have been to these events a few times, there wont be as much of a wow factor. The other camp is people like myself whose who are chuffed to bits that showmasters have pulled out all these varied cool guests. People like Danny Trejo, Chris Sarandon and Michael Ironside are legendary, id be tempted by any convention that has these people individually let alone all in one place (im guessing its very similar for others). In the end of the day, you cant please everyone (nevertheless im sure showmasters try), but i for one am very pleased indeed. Thank you SM Its totally down to preference.
  15. I whole heartedly agree. Id be well tempted to get him if there was Jetfire pics. His name was second on the voice cast, definately the biggest and arguably the best robot part in the film.
