  1. Owen Teale, Peter Capaldi (Well we can dream!), James Moran, Joseph Lidster, Matt Rippy
  2. Oh yes, Burn for the hub 6 please! He is a wonderful wonderful guest and such a delight to meet!
  3. I was staying in another hotel and came back to the park in especially for the party because my little one was looking forward to dancing again. We were both very disappointed that there was no party - decorated tables does not a party make. On the con website it does say sunday night chill out party and we were asked to raise hands if we were staying for the party to it was not unreasonable to expect a party to actually happen. I found it very telling that there were no crew left around on Sunday night and therefore no one to complain to! I'e enjoyed the sunday party at all 4 previous hubs and find that not putting on a party on the sunday with no explanation to be entirely unacceptable. Well done to those who attempted to remedy the situation, you looked like you were all having a great time!
  4. Oh dear. Really gutted about the Carnival theme. Clown terror made the party quite difficult for me last time. Oh well!
  5. Oh well, if Kai's going I suppose I have to go! That's sealed it for me.
  6. Also the amazing duck song "all the ducks are swimming in the water, fa la la lala la ...."
  7. Only funny one was from Tom who wrote "To Shar (ka khan), sorry about the whiplash" because my mate told him she calls me shaka khan and he pulled me in so fast at the photo that he hurt my neck.
  8. blue gillespie - the oblivious bowling for soup - girl all the bad guys want blink 182 - what's my age again Duran Duran- rio theme from star trek the undertones - teenage kicks
  9. *Waves* All together now! "SCOOCH,SCOOCH,SCOOCH" ahem - red head (not naturally), bubbly while pretending that she is thoroughly professional?? ...Hi and thanks! I remember you - glad you got to Pizza Express! The Squidge lady is Mara (squidge and schooch! haha Fab), yes, how amusing is this, i was with her when you asked about directions, she knows the area so well and rocks i might add! Pooks/kelly x :) Hurrah for the crew! Squooch!
  10. There was a 'squidge squidge squidge' lady as well? I fell victim to the bubbly 'scooch scooch scooch' lady a few times. I never got squidged once though. If she was short and cheery with curly hair it is the same one. She has variations, all of them wonderful! And yep - he said ran out of ideas. I do feel bad for moaning as I enjoyed the parties for the most part but when there was such a list of suggestions there is no excuse for not knowing what to play.
  11. I have to agree with those that loved the weekend. I think it was the best hub after the first one and I had a super time! All the guests were lovely and chatty and the crew were amazing! My favourite is the "squidge squidge squidge" lady whose name I don't know but who gave me directions to Pizza Express when I was really hungry! All the first timers were great fun too. Ian Gelder is my new hero. He was so nice at the signing that my friend and I bid on his encounter as no one else had. I can promise it was no quite as intimate as he suggested Kai was as wonderful as ever, Cush was superb and Susan may have the best set of legs I've ever seen on a woman her age. My only complaint - and it's the same complaint every time - is that the DJ (lovely as he is) seems so unprepared. He knew it was 80s night for weeks and way before the end he said "I've run out of ideas so it's con dances from here". I know they make people dance but it does get repetitive by night 3 and he has done 4 of hubs so should be better at being able to fill the whole party.
  12. Hmm.... Caroline Chikeze Murray Melvin James Moran Joe Lidster Cush Jumbo Peter Capaldi
