  1. I think the problem with the Stadium:MK is that it now used by Northampton Saints for any big games so it's probably a case of looking at the MK Dons and Saints fixtures to see if there are any definite weekends free. These would be clearer in December / January time when the rugby European cup's group stage is coming to an end and whether the Saints have progressed and the Dons progress (or not) in the FA Cup. I hope it carries on, I was enjoying the sporting guests side of it. Selfish, I know :-D
  2. VQ tickets for autographs are still handed out at the respective guests booth / desk? Can see a mad stampede up to level one on both days for SW and BP!! :-(
  3. Yet there's nothing on the Southern trains website (well I couldn't see anything) and I've just booked a ticket from Northampton - Olympia, using Southern from Milton Keynes and it still said nothing about disruption. Is it just south of London?
  4. Nothing - with the expected amount of people in a cramped space it's going to be warm!! As long as I have my can of Lynx Black and smell OK, no-one will notice! ;-)
  5. Ian McKellen? I keep saying Henry Cavill but won't this time ;-) and was going with Sigourney Weaver as Bill Paxton is here but was beaten to it :-(
  6. How long has there been a separate Trevor Brooking photo shoot? That's not on the "guest days listing". Assume I can buy on the day still, gutted as I like to buy in advance to avoid the inevitable queueing badlam.
  7. I'm in the same boat...All I'm going to do is print off the confirmation order form from the "my orders" part of my shop account. Pretty sure that's worked for others in the past.
  8. Henry Cavill, there's plenty of selfies flying around at the minute as he's in London. Perhaps he wants to cash in on the picture business! ;-)
  9. Thanks for that, ordered some a while back but not received them so didn't know what was in place for this event. Hopefully turning up soon. :-D
  10. Are the tickets for this event still being posted or is it the new e-ticket policy? I saw on another thread something about e-mail validation etc. but, despite ordering tickets for this event, I haven't received that email. Apologies because I'm sure this has been asked before.
  11. The Spurs reunion is listed as Saturday here but in their stand alone thread it's Sunday. Which is correct?
  12. Henry Cavill, Gil Gadot and Ben Affleck in a Justice League character photo session
  13. With 2 Superman guests announced I'd go for Henry Cavill, Kevin Costner, Russell Crowe, Amy Adams, Kate Bosworth, Annette O'Toole etc. etc. Not that I'm biased towards any franchise ;-)
  14. LFCC and Collectormania are established events that already attract thousands of people yearly. Belfast, Cardiff, Sheffield etc. are new and need the bigger names to justify going to these places not just once but continuously. Lets not forget that people travel to London and MK from all over the country / Europe and doing it four times a year is expensive so creating events in all parts makes it easier for some. Personally this event is disappointing and at the minute only meeting David Haye is justifying making the short trip from Northampton but if scaling down these winter events enables more people around the country to see what Showmasters can offer then this new found interest may help with even bigger Summer events? Bit of a ramble on but there's my pennies worth Andy K.
  15. BONUS! Don't have to turn up at "stupid am" and queue up!! Can I clarify that early bird ticket line closes at 11am? I can rock up at 10:30ish and not have to queue with standard entry buyers?
  16. Who supplies the pictures for the guests to sign? The reason I ask is will there be any pictures of Fred in his American Football playing days or will I have to try and source one myself? Cheers, Andy K.
  17. As SM pulled a rabbit out of the hat with Jeff East how about some more of the casts from the original Superman films? Terence Stamp, Ned Beatty, Annette O'Toole, Aaron Smolinski, Valerie Perrine to name a few The last 2 have just done the "Superman Celebration" in Metropolis so must be up for these conventions?
  18. Hmmmmmm, my train gets to West Brompton at 2:25 and have to go past the place to get to my hotel, might be worth seeing what the queue is like. Would seriously help with the rest of the weekend :-D Anyone think this will be very busy as it is still work time....?
  19. I too am going to recommend Franks autographs. Been storing my autographs in their pouches and binders for years now with no issues. Aside from the quality of the goods the passion and knowledge the couple who run the company have about the items is great, a lot of people just sell not knowing anything about them but these two really know the products inside and out. Andy K.
  20. £40!!? Bargain, I was expecting nearly double that
  21. I posted this on a previous thread, hopefully the places mentioned are still there and it helps. "There's a little pizza place to the left of the main entrance (West Brompton Road), it's next door to the pub "The Tournament" which, hopefully, is reopened (been boarded up for the last couple of events). If you turn right on the West Brompton Road you'll come across "The Prince Of Wales" on the next corner (after the shops), not the biggest of places but has tables out the front and rear. Decent pub grub and seems a favourite for LFCC attendee's. The "Lillie Langtry" is opposite, don't know what that's like, never been in. About another 10 minutes walk past the Prince, and turning left at the first roundabout you come to, is "The Goose, Fulham", Weatherspoons I think so you know what you'll get in there. This a fair sized pub with a rear garden. The pubs near and around the Earls Court tube entrance do get very busy but there is more to choose from if you want a bit more of a walk." Andy K.
