Horrifically so today... I lasted an hour...got one photo op then vamoosed.....but my scanner isn't working so can't show it...me and Hewlett though...at least we're both smiling..

Phew!..I use that phrase all the time and was worried there.......and I'm not exaggerating btw to stir up trouble...near the entrance/exit and the pay area, with the queues of people walking both ways it was scarily claustraphobic and if someone stumbled they could have been crushed - imho.....that was a serious safety worry imho...

If you're referring to my Dodge saying - that's a well known non-offensive quote for getting out of somewhere before serious damage or trouble happens....personally I think it's pretty appropriate for today's shenanigans...

It was appalling..and very very scary in places inside that hall - not to mention unbearably hot and stuffy......I got one photo op with David Hewlett at 10.30m (and a BIG THANK YOU to the crew member who let me jump the "Early Bird" queue I'd been in for 45 mins so I wouldn't miss it btw) , shook hands with Robert Hays and thanked him for Airplane then got the Hell out of Dodge...I felt so sorry for those still queuing at 11.45 a.m....to hear that some are still waiting to get in my heart breaks for them...... I have a ticket for tomorrow.....I'm really not sure if it's worth it any more....

As described in the first post, the sessions are split by ticket number. Your ticket is low enough to go in the first session, but if you miss it you can go to the 2nd. Thanks...just wanted clarification again...

I have a David Hewlett Photo Op ticket for Saturday.... It doesn't say which session but if I don't make the morning, then can I use this one in the later afternoon session?...Is he definitely doing 2 sessions like on the Saturday Schedule layout? It's ticket No. 152 Thanks

LOL!..the last time we went to that stadium more than half the car park was a building site!.. it was the most horrendous place to park .. ....must have been 2 or 3 years ago...we've not been since...too much hassle at that Stadium every visit we've made....I used to love it when it was at the Shopping Centre though...never been the same for me since it moved....thankfully I can get up to London easily for the LFCC's though...

It's big...they cater for lots of conferences, weddings etc....nice hotel...bar prices can be steep, but the cocktails are rather tasty ....I'm staying there for one night before I fly away for my holiday in 4 weeks' time, which means I'll miss this Chevron. . ..but if I hadn't have stayed there for 2 other Chevrons I'd probably not have booked it....I like it very much....and "Smithy" the Concierge is very nice and helpful if you need any...

Yep..us too...usually only do one day, but decided to do both because of Michael and Lexa being there...didn't regret a moment, even if my old bones are still aching a bit... Well worth it...

Awww LOL!...I love JCB - she's a pussycat really... Here's a couple of mine...don't usually take props but these were special...probably the more unusual kind for a Con Photo Op and yes they have a backstory....but don't ask I'm not telling... BIG thanks to Michael and Lexa for being such sports, as always...

I wish I'd remembered to insist on a couple of horizontal shots instead of verticals with my hugs....I look too fat in them, especially the one with Lexa Doig, who is so beautiful and tiny she would make a twig look like a hippo...ah well, nothing a bit of cropping and fiddling can't fix...

Might pop to MK for CM in Nov...got something else planned with the lovely Mr Shanks in less than a fortnight but can't mention that here...

Have to say, now at home and carefully examining a few of my photo shoots from Photo Op Area C, I'm noticing a few marks and either printer smears that have come out on closer inspection....things did seem quite rushed in that area as it was a small area to collect prints and bags at the same time....I shall have to get some good friends with photoshop skills to amend some of these marks now....shame...

Fabulous weekend....the venue was great, sooooo glad the balcony was open, what an oasis of calm & peace....the staff and volunteers were fabulous, but especially Claire , the guests were awesome, the cosplay folks impeccable as always and my photo shoots are hilarious....thanks for putting on an awesome show once again...

Sam Jones, Michael Shanks and Lexa Doig....all were lovely....the rest of the time I spent walking around, really chilled and having fun in such gorgeous weather!....

Was a wonderful quiet place to rest, stretch out one's back & take overhead pics...thankyou for opening it...

Thank you so much for having the upstairs balcony open...not only does it make for good overhead photos but it's a great place to rest, stretch one's back and have a bit of quiet time...

Yep I'm the same for the Shanks family ....do I just go up with the rest of the queue and show my Summer LFCC tickets? ...

I almost gave up last year it was so awful....I am bringing my husband for his first LFCC - it will be his last if he has to experience what I did last year.. Good to hear that things have been improved but I will be cautious and believe it when we're in with no hassle, arguments or rudeness/shoving etc...

There's a fine line between building up the excitement and leading people on.....whether or not this line has been crossed is up to individual interpretation.. I personally don't give a rip....I'm coming for a few people on both days and live close by - ish....

*puts the Andromeda DVD away again*... Am sure I'll be seeing Lexa and Shanks again to get it signed....*saves another few pennies*...
