  1. Boo Hiss to all you UNCONSTRUCTIVE complainers!!! I wanted to crew but couldn't, and wanted to crew at the next LFACC, but am now wondering whether to if all every1 does is complain about the volunteers!!!!! (ANd i'm in the young age bracket evry1 hates) there's gonna be people that have good or bad experiences with the show, the guests AND the crew - NOBODY is perfect eh? EVERYONE is entitled to their opinion, and has a right to expre$$ it, but hey, here's an idea ............. For everyone COMPLAINING, keep doing so if you want, but why not tell the two guys that organise the crew so that THEY know?? the email address I wrote to to crew is oin the crew section - crew@showmastersonline.com can tell em all the crappy things that happened, name names, and get your point across, which might maybe help? Also tell the organisers desk, like Gandalfia says. Like, why only complain afterwards, say it on the day, and maybe any misunderstandings can be sorted out! I saw an organiser at the James Marsters area talking to upset customer on the day, so I'm sure they care about what happens, and who is bestest at helping. Why not be constructive? DG
  2. Not Fair! So If i do wot SM say on their forum, i wont apply, but if i badger them at the last minute I might've got to crew. POOOoooey! Looks like I couldve applied, with every1 being told only now they are crewing. Am worried bout a few things if i apply to crew LFACC now - I would have to book a train ticket in advance to be able to afford to go to C7 or LFACC, and couldnt go if i had 2 pay 4 my own hotel. So sort of screwd really, if you dont get to find out to like, only ONE week before the event, then i mightve bought my ticket with my savings, but then find im not going to crew. The other way round is its too expensive to book a ticket 1 week b4 Do SM usually take this long to sort their crew out? (B4 you jump on mi head - I KNOW they must be busy, with gustes n tings - but dont they organize in advance? - like u kneed guests but aint no good unles you have crew 2 look after dem!) I'd like to crew SM shows, so any1 that can stop me worrying about this?
  3. Am I 2 late 2 crew? Made my mind up to try it out at last! and I seen msgs sayin that crew mails R out, but people R still sayin they havent heard if their working. So hoping SM might need more people Does any1 know? Aswell, do i need to find sumwhere 2 stay , or will the nice SM peeps sort that? Fanks any1 for ideas
  4. Agree with everyone bout the price of food - specially when your on a tight budget like me, s'why I took sandwiches - but thats where places like wembley, docklands, nec are ALL the same - i dont think that the show organisers can change this, and I 'heard' that they even have to pay them to open!!! nasty wembley people. Know wot u mean about hand stamps - but last time mine washed off in the rain and lots of people had probs with that - sounds like SM listened to that complaint ok.. finking of complaints - did anyone who had a problem wiv crew write their name down and tell anyone at the organisers desk? thats wot I'd do, but then everyone i met was very helpful Theres a crew section on the forum too so why not SM know who you had problems wiv there? I bet its hard doing crew, s'why I just like going along for fun. CASH? Bring it wiv u. I did, anda cheq book. Those machines you see in newsagents that can be hired i guess charge a fortune to take money out of!!!! Looking forward to C7 (tho NOT the crowds - LFACC ROCKS on that front - loadsa space)
  5. Saw her in a red t-shirt on Friday, and with a Showmaster at the party in a top hat and whip. Cool costume. There were loads of good costtumes around, am tempted to make one meself
