I can see I've made a few enemies on this one. Maybe you're right and they should have chosen another ticket but that decision was not up to me. If they had done so I would have stood by them, but then I think a lot of people in my place would have done the same thing (not that that's an excuse I guess). Sorry if I offended anyone but I am here to make friends, not enemies so I hope you understand

can i come to? C6 was also my first and I went as a lone traveller. It was good most of the time except it got a bit lonely in the evenings. I ended up at the party alone (was sat in a mask and pink skirt on the floor drinking upstairs did you spot me?) till i eventually latched onto some unsuspecting couple (thanks for that by the way). I also wound up alone on sunday evening after the LOTR talk with nowhere to go... company would have been good at that point. So for next time new friends, and fun people would be good. Erin

Unfortunately the weekend was more expensive than my poor student bank account would like to handle so was too impoverished to meet you after i'd splashed out on all the trimmings. Did attend the LOTR talk though... bit jealous of all the kissing that went on there. Best of luck in the future Tom. Hope that one day I'll get to meet you in person.

I didn't think much of him when I met him (on the sat). I didn't even speak to him directly but had to go through staff who asked if I wanted the autograph written out to myself, then what my name was. He "introduced" me and the only thin NB said to me was about how to spell my name. I did try and get a photo of him when he looked up before i moved away and i think it would have come out really well... if my camera hadn't broken earlier (damn stupid rotten shutter, grrrr). Though i did hear he was really jet-lagged in his defense and he really made me laugh at the Buffy talk on sunday, he did the snoopy dance and everything!!! Thus i spent the rest of my weekend stalking him with my disposable camera! hee hee.
