Well I'm 35 but for me it's nothing to do with age. It's a mixture of things. But the main one is moving house and settling down so my priorities have changed. Also all I've met most of the guests I want to meet at these conventions so they are all repeat or have no interest for me. I've decided that I'll be getting rid of my stuff (just need time to list it on ebay) apart from SW and BTTF hence a nice way to finish off my poster with CL. I do wait with baited breath to see who to is going to be though.

This could well be my last convention I am seriously thinking about calling it a day. Unfortunately I have other things to concentrate my finances on (house). I might have called it earlier if Christopher Lloyd and the Hellraiser line-up hadn't been announced. I had met him before at LFCC but my BTTF poster arrived too late so could only get his autograph on a photo. I will probably sell up my collection and just keep my favourites and a few of my posters so if I do decide to take it back-up I will just concentrate on completing those. But for me due to financies it will have to be a MUST get autograph on my posters rather than a casual visit to London. I haven't been overly active on the forum like I used to be but I will still pop in from now and again to keep an eye on the guests to see if there are any new BTTF or Star Wars guests So if you are new to the hobby, enjoy it! Enjoy the challenge plotting your moves around the UK or abroad while searching for that must have signature. You will meet some fantastic like minded people. For people that have been collecting for a long time I hope you continue to enjoy it! If I ever had random chat in queues cheers. LFCC 2011 is going to be a fantastic convention.

I've got the first Hellraiser film poster. I like to do something a little different so got the Spanish version. Got Doug, Barbies and few others on it so looking to get that signed by the others that was involved with the first film and give it to my brother as a present.

For me it would have to be M. Thatcher for me to part with my money. Although many people may not like what happened while she was in charge (as to put it) but you can not argue that she isn't a person of the countries historical importance! But the security headache would be immense!! Yes we are a different customer base than as per norm and it is a lot quieter etc.... BUT you have to think of the people that will become aware of the event that don't normally attend or ever attended the event before just to create havoc!!

This question gets asked many times and considering the amount of money we spend its an understandable concern. The ones that are sold at the shows are very good and if I remember correctly are acid free or low in acid? This doesn't eat away at the photo or the signature (this is something that happens over time not like pouring a pot of liquid acid onto something). The A4 poly pockets if I remember correctly are totally the opposite and should be used for short term only. I found this out at my own expense when a autographed photo was stuck to the pocket I think its more noticeable with metalic pens. I have trawled Ebay looking for them as I want to buy in bulk and I have really struggled so I always buy a few every time I goto an event. Most of autographs are stored in the the £1 pockets (the actual brand name of them escapes me at the moment) and then stored loosely in storage boxes so they are flat. Just remembered the company that makes them are called Ultra they are an American company they do loads of stuff for baseball cards etc... and they are perfectly fine to store your signed photos

Would be nice if they done a couple more episodes to close the series rather than leaving it open like they have

With CM17 being in October can we have some horror guests please I would like to see some more Hellraiser guests Clare Higgins, Ashley Laurence, Nicholas Vince, Simon Bamford, Grace Kirby with Doug Bradley of course How about some directors as well I think Wes Craven is achievable! What is everyones elses thoughts and realistic wish list?

I have brought a Gold Pass a few times now with the last time being LFCC when Christopher Lloyd attended as there was loads of guests I wanted to meet/attend talks and photo shoots. It makes your life oh so simple the only thing you have to worry about is the time of photo shoots and talks (just so you can attend them). Sometimes the autograph pack is pretty good as well depending on what you get of course If I was to make an addition to it I would throw in a photo op as well. You could just add the one for the whole weekend and the photographer just takes the one shot as in the past he has done a couple that are printed out so just issue the best pic of the bunch!

I got two autographs from Leslie yesterday I am not sure what he signed on my photo (unless I am having a brain donor moment which could well be the as I drank a lot last night lol) as I didn't ask for anything to be dedicated.

You must have been in the queue with me then. I heard the german guy explaining to someone that he wouldn't sign the photos SM had provided also someone wanted a poster signed (can't remember the film) and there appeared to be an issue with that as well?
