Hi folks, I used to attend SM events years ago (used to attend the MK shopping centre and LFCC), and due to circumstances stopped collecting for quite a while. A couple of guests have perked my interest, but I cannot make the event so someone attending for me. As it’s been so long, I was wondering if the guest queuing system has changed? In the past you’d collect a numbered ticket from the guest signing queue, then when your number is up you join the queue (it would be grouped numbers 1- 50, 51-100 etc). Does it still work the same way, or is there a different process in place? Thanking you in advance

I would love to see someone get Bobby Charlton. I've heard he only does private signings (and the odd book launch). So perhaps a diamond deal where some of the proceeds go to charity? It would work perfectly with Geoff Hurst and co.

I would love to see Bobby Charlton at Autograhpica. It's the perfect venue and event for such a guest. I appreciate he's a rare signer but perhaps an arrangement could be made for a fund raiser for charity?

During LFCC understandably there was a hell of a lot of Hoverboards. Someone mentioned it to me that there was a store selling them - I couldn't find the store of love or money. Does anyone know the store? I've been looking to get one for ages to go with my display but they always seem to be very silly money. Thanking in advance

Completely agree. I checked mine at 2:50 on the Sunday came out of the talk to be told by the person running the auction she'd bidded on it and beaten me by £1. I didn't even get to see the auction list and she had to ask me how much about it. 1. Silent bus is a silent bid - don't open it up 2. If you're running the silent bid you shouldn't be permitted to bid on the item. That's an unfair advantage. Especially given I had a lengthy chat with the person saying I'd check as I go into my talk so they knew I had no way to compete once I'd entered the talk. Not sour grapes for not winning. Just think it's an unfair advantage they have.

I'm in the same predicament with my BTTF poster. I only want/need Crispin Glover and Thomas F. Wilson for me to call it complete. Crispin has signed in the US before so a maybe but Thomas I feel my chances aren't that great given he doesn't do conventions etc....

Although I wasn't thrilled with the contents of the gold pass I got it to help with potential queuing. Gold pass room - perhaps have a sign saying 'gold pass room' so you know exactly where it is? I've used gold passes before years gone by (I stopped collecting for a while) and the 'goodie bag' use to be really good. You'd get a select number of autographs, granted they wasn't always everyone's cuppa but it was always a nice little bonus. I got an ice cube tray, key ring and a sticker thing? Not really cool promo items from film and tv The tote bag was a good idea and very useful. The use of the photograph voucher that was changed was an excellent bonus. It made Signourney Weaver photo shoot financially doable for me. There was a few talks you could attend which I planned to but then totally forgot (doh). The overall package has it quibbles but it's primarily to assist your weekend to get the autographs/photo shoots you want. So that element I found it a big help given how busy the place was. Perhaps the "goodie" contents could be reviewed?

Took me a while to get out of the venue then it dawned on me I'd forgotten my suitcase so had to go back to the cloakroom. A very lengthy journey home with a hell of a lot of water. I'm extremely grateful to you all for looking after me like you did. Although I'd rather have not had it happen to me how you guys dealt with it all became one of my highlights if that makes sense? So thank again I understand it was very crowded round there, very hot and a few people were very upset. It wasn't easy for anyone crew and attendees alike. But in the end I felt like I knew you guys quite well hahaha Thank you for the compliment it was a pleasure to help out! I am glad you got your auto in the end. Also, the woman in the red shirt who helped was Mary and the guy was Paul, I am sorry I don't know who the other person was : ) Ah right cool. Now you've said Mary I remember her name now. I hope they too use the forums as I'd like to extend my thanks to them. It was a very difficult situation to handle that was out of the immediate crews control. I hope it calmed down for everyone.

MJF commenting on my band tee and had (very brief) chat with him as it turned out we both like the band. It wasn't too lengthy so didn't cause anyone issues and he started the conversation. For me to have a band convo with one of favourite film stars was amazing. I also bumped into Christopher Lloyd on the stairway and he said hello.

There was chaos this evening with the Christopher Lloyd issue. I had a funny turn. That made me feel quite ill something that I've never experienced before (hyperventilating, dizziness, pins and needles in my hands - I really didn't know where I was and stuff). However the staff there were amazing and really looked after me. So I'd like to say thank you very very very much to the 3 ladies and the one bloke (sorry I don't have names). You helped me out so much during what was a very worrying new situation. Thank you.

I've not received mine yet either but I'm not overly worried at the moment. I emailed SM when I ordered as my address wasn't on the order and I've recently received the emails asking for tee size etc. so I'm sure it will come soon.

Sadly get the feeling that such a thing would be beneath him. I believe Bobby doesn't like to charge for his autograph. I think he is a good TTM signer. He's the only one missing from my 66 programme and would happily make a charitable contribution of his choice to complete my collection. I was chatting to Jack before (great guest to talk to btw) and he said to post to Man U and he'd sign and send it back. Unfortunately due to number of signatures I can't take the risk.

Completely forgot about the t-shirt size etc. I placed my order for the Diamond Pass and it didn't ask for my postal address or t shirt size. I've received my PDF tickets via email. As I'm not sure if they actually post anything out to you, I've dropped them an email with my details along with tee size.
