  1. Ooooo sounds interesting Gherkin hehehe, you have to give me your address of your new house by the way. I still have to send you that song, hmmm I'll see if I can do it now, I presume you can accept mp3 type tracks, you better had. What I'm sending you is a rather funky version of some music from POTC, I love it!! Anyways thanks for your texts, we'll have to try and stay in touch, I've kinda lost touch with everyone these days. And a big thanks to everyone else for your birthday wishes. I might see you in MK on Saturday evening although I won't be attending any events. I'm off to see that new world trade centre film and have some dinner. so if you do happen to see me in Xscape, feel free to come and say hi.

  10. Alan Oppenheimer for me, he was a very nice chap and had no problems posing for a piccie and doing a personalisation.
  11. Do you think you could write in English please, I'm finding it hard to read what your typing, thanks :)
  12. I know when I sign things my signature changes, its not always the same. Starts off all nice but by the end of day its more a scribble than anything else. Hopw you got it sorted :)

    FAO DAVEY

    LMAO well said Andrea lol
  14. Pah who cares if he wasn't there lol, I had a good time even though I have no idea who he is. So I can't see how having the main man there would have made the day any more special lmao
  15. LOL no idea who you are so therefore no I didn't miss you (feels brave). Besides nobody knows what abuse is until they get some from me, its more like torture, maybe I'll have the pleasure of torturing this Main Man sometime. LMAO he sounds like something out of a comic book (or is he)????
  16. I think it would have been nice to see more on the side of entertainment. Other than walking around the stalls, lounging around on the floor there wasn't really all that much to do. For instance I noticed there was a lot of kids there, how about having a kiddy corner so kids can chill out and relax, they need to just as much as us grow ups. Things like I dunno street entertainers would have been good, if nothing else just to keep everyone entertained whilst waiting for talks to start or the VT numbers to come up. Yes the Stormtroopers were great,. but it needed something more. Maybe even some demonstrations, for instance there is the whole comic theme missing here. How about having someone doing demonstrations on how to do create comic pictures, would be fun for everyone including kids and you could even make it hands on, so everyone gets a chance to create a comic strip or whatever. I know i would be up for that for a laugh. As for seating, whilst I was not bothered about slumping on the floor, its not so ideal for others, for instance disabled people or ladies who are pregnant. Its ok getting down, but a pain in the butt trying to get back up again. So yeah some seating would be great, maybe turn another corner into a picnic style area. How about also having a section where short films can be shown, ones suitable for all age groups. As for the talk area its been said before but I have to agree, it was impossible to hear anything clearly and was located in a really bad area, would have been better situated behind that massive door thing behind the guests. Anyways just a few ideas that I think would really help while the time away. I personally would not be bothered about paying a bit extra if i knew there was other things to keep me occupied. You can only go round the stalls so many times. Vamps Ps otherwise it was a farking great show guys xXx
  17. Alan Oppenheimer - Never give up and good luck will find you - a line from Never Ending Story, best auto in my collection that is now lol.
  18. The little Yoda did it for me -he rocked he did.
  19. I got to admit I thought the photos were a bit of a con really. A friend of mine wanted to have her photo done with Elijah and naturally she would have had to pay £20.00 for herself. The trouble was she had her son with her and they were going to charge her another £20.00 just so he could be included in the photo - a bit of a family piccie as it were. Now to be honest with you, I thought it was pretty disgusting to charge per person posing on the one photo. Its not like they wanted two copies, so it would not have cost anyone any extra - if that makes sense. I think £20.00 per photograph is sufficient, not per person. My friend didn't bother in the end as it was felt that £40.00 for just one picture was just too much. I really feel that this particular issue was a bit of a con and yes I ranted and raved about it all day long. Her son is only 6 and 3/4 what harm would it have done for him to be included on a picture with his Mum and Elijah, honestly £40.00 what a rip off. Rant over LOL
  20. I only got a coin lol. I wonder if the coke machine at work would accept it lol
  21. I voted ten!! Apart from C4 this had to be one of the best days I've had. I met Alan O who did the voice over for Falkor in TNES, its been a childhood dream of mine to meet Falkor and this is the closest I'll ever get LOL. Alan O was amazing and my turn with him was just made very special by some of the things he said. Thank you Showmasters, you have really made a dream come true, no all I need is a cuddly Falkor, anyone know where I can get one LOL. Oh and Over The Hedge is a must see film, saw this evening in Leicester Square thanks to THEO, (love ya babe), plenty of adult humour given that its a kids film.
  22. My god, I'm sorry but a few of you on this thread sound like spoilt brats throwing a tantrum. Its a sad fact of life that people will cancel, tough get over it. SM's have always made it perfectly clear that right up to and even during the event itself, guests can cancel. Equally though they can obtain guests right up to and during the event. Ok so some people have to travel a long way or book hotels etc, thats your problem not SM's. your not forced to go and most if not all are aware of the risks involved with these events. Therefore the choice is yours as to whether you want to risk it or not. Yes the forum was down, but as I understand it, its not SM's fault, but more a problem with invision's servers. Yes the showmasters are looking at alternatives to letting people know whats happening, someone has started a thread about text alerts for instance. I also think some peoples attitude to CL's injury is appaling, you don't know whats wrong with him or how serious the injury is. Just because its not splashed all over the newspapers does not mean its untrue. Lets face it not everything goes in newspapers or is on the news itself. I wish Mr Lee (no not you Theo LOL) a speedy recovery and I am sure that when he is fit and well he will come to another event. Vamps xXX
  23. I thought you just got a stamp on your hand, or has that changed as well?

  25. For a minute there I thought this thread was about bum fluff LOL or come to think of it belly button fluff. Why do blokes with hairy chets etc always end up with fluff in their belly buttons???
