How do others feel about MK ok i`ll be going as its nearby, its the only one in the area etc etc, but compared to the other Showmaster events i have been to i don`t actually enjoy it that much compared to them the enjoyment is a lot less as its in a shopping centre with all the general members of the public doing their saturday shopping hanging about and getting in the way of the genuine fans, its a bit of a meat market for the celebritys as well it seems real chaos at times surely Showmasters could find a good venue locally somewhere isn`t there any where else in MK ? I`m not from MK but how about the stadium does that have a large indoor area ? or isn`t there an arena somewhere nearby i bet the venue puts of a lot of stars the cancellations seem higher here as well, is the venue the real reason ? if i was a celebrity i wouldn`t go anywhere near mk for signing autographs not when theres much better places to go to

Hi I`m sure we have all seen the email list of attendees on the list it says Jonathon Frakes appearing All Days yet on the web-site it says Sat - Mon Does anyone know which is correct I may be able to visit on Friday but doubt the other days so it makes a big difference which is correct Gazz

Neither can I although my other previous interest of motor racing it was easy to get free ones not that i really follow it to that degree anymore, I`ve also obtained a few when in London purely by chance never been to a premiere

lots of shops to wander round on Saturday while waiting to see the celebs i`d done the stalls on Friday

Now we have our autographs what is the best way to keep them I currently have mine in a folder in some clear plastic pocket files (the cheap type you can get a box of 100 from most stationers) there were some sturdy clear pockets but thicker plastic ones on sale at one stall for £1 each although they didn`t have folder holes in them i suppose i`ll frame a few and then keep rest in some type of plastic pockets will any frame be ok , or do i need something special any suggestions for pockets as well Ta

Beks I was right then re the shop I wasn`t in costume unless you call me Alien being dressed up as Human Male from the Planet Earth from the year 2004 with authentic jeans and fleece i`d be to embarrassed to be anything else although i could probably walk round as a stormtrooper all day as long as i could keep my helmet on Gary

I`ve been to race tracks (British Touring Cars) where the drivers sign loads of autographs for free take part in a professional race, driving on the edge sign autographs again for free and then race again i was just suggesting an alternative approach to see what people thought in the initialo promotion of a film , i wouldn`t expect the arrangement to still be in place 25 years later an entrance fee would keep the casual shoppers out personally i thought the autographs for sale were quite reasonable many not much more than meeting them £100 for Darth Vader are you sure ? you can write to him yourself for £25 he was giving out leaflets and then buy a good frame for a £5 total outlay £30 Gary

Yes but what i was saying was wouldn`t it be a good idea to get the film companys to either pay the guest or write it in their contracts that they have to appear at several to promote the film/series then SM would still be able to do the event , and get their money from stallholders and perhaps charging us an entrance fee all actors would then appear including our dream ones i paid for several over the 2 days but something just seemed wrong about it Gary
