Is it possible to get extra copies of posed photos or the negatives, or the jpg files emailed I had 1 pic done with a few stars but it would be nice to get 2 copies 1 to get auto'd by the star and 1 unauto`d If not why dont showmasters allow purchase of the jpg file or extra copies I'm sure many people would be happy to pay an extra pound or so for additional copies I doubt it would cost them much to run off extra prints

I have been to a lot of these type of events (despite the username) and must say I prefered the new location to the shopping centre which personally I really disliked although went anyway I felt there was a lot more people at the event than usual The meeting the stars seemed a bit more personal due to not being so much out in public at the old location and photo shoots were also more private my complaints would be: the main dealer room was a bit crowded at times could not more more have been out in the corridor area ? It was a bit cold but thats not showmasters fault, doubt Sunday is going to be any better its raining where I live lack of photos with stars when getting autographs ie Avery Brooks who was very easy to see yet no photos with him allowed I know there are pro's and cons to this getting all the auto's through but the main reason photos are not allowed is so you buy one so cost to see each star to most people is really Photo + Auto whether this produces more income or stops people seeing so many stars is something for Showmasters Accountants to work out I think it cuts down on getting so many autos, it does in my book I only got 3 Autos & Alice Kriege wasnt there (Hopefully she can come again ?) , I've been to previous events and had upto 15 as I think twice due to the autos + photos total cost Finger crossed for weather for the November one could be really really cold are there any other venues in the MK area that could be used ? that have the good parts of the Dons plus indoors ?

Thanks for that are the pics in registration pack same type as you get at collectormania events good quality (usually) 8 * 10 type i assume everyone therefore has the same picture and you cannot choose your own as at collectormania events are there stalls selling pics of guests at the event or is it hard to find alternatives and are they the usual 4 for £10 , £3 each type prices at collectormanias its sometime a bit hard finding different shots of the guests on the stalls some only seem to have the ones you get for free (or bigger versions of same) as far as stalls etc go are there many anyway it says no posed pictures although i have seen posed pics on some peoples web-sites who post on the various forums and it says no videoing but there are some on youtube ? its annoying when other people can get away with it

Never been to one of the massive events yet but been to lots of the collectormanias MK / London etc Im bit unclear on below if i pay the £88 rate i understand that entitles me to free! auto of all 5 guests assuming i do not have any items to sign do i then have to purchase 5 photos at £3.00ish or whatever and then if i want extra autos at £10 i get the photo included is it also correct there are no possibilities of posed photos with guests unless i pay a further £10 per guest for professional session if i pay the silver rate i believe that entitles me to some free photo sssions are these professional pictures or ones i take myself, would these be Me with the guests taken by crew or just me taking close up pics of the guests If professional photo session it would cost me £138 for entrance and 5 photos with guest anyway hope someone can resolve this sorry if already on here somewhere but only just looked on here for first time for info

There are seperate events to meet these sort of stars although guess im in trouble on here if I mention last one I heard about never been myself though but know they occur, Id meet a few of those type of stars as well to get autographs if i got the chance its still part of the entertainment industry and all us blokes have seen a few however much we make out we haven't a future event for Collectormania to run in Milton Keynes Shopping Centre Perhaps ?

Obviously many of the younger fans on here dont have to worry about mortgages yet although still have to pay their rents and other living costs so the question is are the higher costs affecting your purchases at Collectormania and similar events Personally I cut back on number of series I was collecting a couple of years ago yes it is nice to get autographs but you have to think how much it is going to cost to get the lot one series with 10 main stars is at least £150 plus train tickets to London etc etc I think now what would I get most value out of the box set of the entire series or meeting the stars the box sets wins when you think like this and its loads cheaper so I have stayed clear of collecting some series for this reason this event I have got 5 autographs at cost of £75 and brought one photo from a stall for £6 so thats quite low expnse this time I remember a few a few years ago where I got 10 or so over a weekend as well as buying other items 10 Autos is unlikely to happen again many of the stall holders seemed to be openly complaining at the low customer numbers yesterday so perhaps increased living costs are to blame I remember the good old days where you went to London for the day and met celebs in the street and got autographs for free and then went to Forbidden Planet to buy Collectables and browse Those were the days !

Who did you mean to get ? most of the DS9 cast have done Events so you should see them personally eventually they come round again Ive seem most myself only Terry,Colm and Armin missing I think now out of the main ones

Best to go at reasonable time get a virtual ticket and have a look round shops not advisable to leave to late in case of unexpected large queues or guest leaving early to get flight home

No no posed photos her crew member suggested I saw her for her photo session Did allow pic of herself at table but on a Saturday dont count on that being possible or a sunday either

Yes reasonable selection you can also of course buy some from the stalls if you want more specific ones check first of course many stalls areselling onesyou can get for free I always ask to just look at the free pics before i see the stars this then gives me time to check the ones at stalls out if i need to

New venue, personally about time I hate Milton Keynes venue on a saturday and sometimes Sunday Mornings with all the crowds and people getting in the way I was at Milton Keynes myself yesterday, yes several of the stall holders were moaning about moving loosing out on passing trade etc do passing trade actually buy anything ? or get in the way of us who are ? these events work in London etc and the stall holders keep coming every year so they can't be doing to bad can they ! as far as getting autographs I think new venue should be a lot better its not fun lining up for autographs with all the people doing their saturday shopping gawping and taking photos of you on their mobiles as you meet the guests genuine visitors should be given as pleasant a time as possible with their heroes its a very expensive hobby and usually such a brief experience so the fans who are paying should get the best experience possible with their heroes s** the saturday shoppers wishes if you want to get on the bus buy a ticket a few fans appear to have mixed feelings about the move have they ever been to a london one ? they are so much better and not held in a shopping centre >>>> On the new map of stadium venue for next event I noticed there are "A Guest" locations is that a good idea I hope A guests dont get even more up on themselves and refuse photos etc etc as a basic thing because they are A's some are bad enough without encouraging them all guests are guests not a good idea to categorise them as better because they have been in more films/series and all guests are A's or No interest to different people depending on their likes and dislikes personally my experiences with people who I would presume as A Guests havent been that great, they hardly speak or look at you no photos, no character names etc etc yet want higher fee perhaps all A Guests should be downgraded till they up their performance and A Guests can only be nominated as A's by the fans who see them A Fan grading perhaps rather than Organisers licking up to some of them so to start of based on my visit yesterday then A Guests - Amber Benson, Mercedes Mcnab Happy Cheerfull and chatty and happily posed for pics at the table Amber even put her arm round me and I have actually seen her before in London and she was just as nice then B Guests - Denise Crosby and Morena Baccarin I would really have liked to put both above, both were chatty and nice but neither allowed Pics at the table although allowed pics of them I was told I could get posed photo at weekend which as we know involves more money thus for prely this reason I have make them B's Sorry Denise and Morena but had to do it and from previous events ive been to C guests Carrie Fisher, Patrick Stewart they did speak but no photos or character names allowed D Guests (lowest level) William Shatner , Leonard Nimoy, John De Lancie and any new guests on their first events classed as Trainees / Apprentices or something Ive seen loads of others over the last few years since being a newbie but just wanted to put a few in each category >>>> Amanda Tapping First Guest for new venue is she actually likey to come this time ? you heard it here first Amanda Tapping cancels due to other commitments saves hearing it in June a few days before the event ! >>>> Over to the rest of you

I think a few of the guests at these things are testing the water to see how much other types of guests can make for Showmasters if they received lots of visitors it would open the floodgates to stars from just about every Tv series going rather than SCi-Fi fantasy guests that we are used to why don`t they just put a SoapMania type event on and advertise in the soap mags etc and attract the people who like them sort of programmes then they would probably get loads of people coming to see them and we could have more fantasy guests at Collectormania

Was a bit of a queue but it moved fairly quickly as he was obviously under pressure to get them all done he was only supposed to be there for an hour had a brief chat with him myself and he was happy to pose for photo the people in front of me were putting books in front of him and just waiting for signature without saying much not seasoned collectors who have lost the oh god im talking to someone famous nerves dont think all were armed with cameras they were just seeing him as he was there would probably make a good guest for a future event Autograph and latest book for a tenner absolutely brilliant perhaps smiths can start running events !

Excellent Video And You Tube is working so much better than last time i visited it none of the videos seem to be jerking like they usually do have they improved it or something recently have to start looking for stuff again anyone into Batman Aliens etc theres a well done video somewhere with Batman Predator and Aliens in the same film its obviously amateur but very well done worth searching for
