Did anyone manage to capture the stage snog between Gareth and Matt....it was really quick and i managed to get a really good shot but i was wondering if anyone else has a shot of it at all.....for comparing and all that of course...

Never said i didn't like people taking my opinions apart...what i don't like is people taking my opinions apart and claiming they are unjust and wrong!! Aside from the tshirt thing....many people don't voice their opinions online, i was talking about people we spoke to over the weekend. Thirdly yes the adrift cocktail did taste just of pineapple juice which is why the barman gave me and my mate free reign over making out own TW cocktails on the sunday night.....the Ianto Jones and the PC Andy and both were heaven to drink. Lastly my final complaint...it drove me and my mates nuts that we kept being asked to show our passes when we had been seated passes in the gold pass section........obviously this had to be due to people sneaking into seats they shouldn't have been in....how about SM make the gold passes a gold colour, the silver passes a silver colour and leave the standards white...that way in the sea of badges you can spot who should be where and who shouldn't...problem solved.

I had to hide down in my seat for the Gareth stopwatch question because the stopwatch he said he actually had used was the one i gave him at the last HUB and it was engraved with the words...start,stop,reset.

If SM or ME whatever they get called did a poll to see what drinks people would like avaliable they would possibly save a hell of alot of money on providing stuff that don't get drunk......it was just like the cocktails that were created....only 2..not 4 i might have...just different names....the barman on the sunday night was complaining to me how so much of it is a waste because no-one was drinking it....he said he literally had jugs upon jugs to get rid of somehow and it was such a waste of the spirits used...i rest my case...heres what i'll say...your all right and i'm wrong for having an opinion..its clearly what you want to hear.

Wow that's quite the list of complaints! In terms of the contents of the goodie bags why assume that you would get exactly the same as what you got the previous year right down to the number of badges? Things change from year to year. The drinks reception was discussed at length on here with yourself I believe prior to the event and I think it was pointed out to you by several people that it's described as a "drinks reception" not a "cocktail party" and that it is entirely usual at most events and work functions for the free drinks to be a choice of wine or beer. In this case free wine was made available - if you required spirits you should have bought your own! Nowhere does it say that ME have to provide you with a "cocktail" at the drinks reception. I liked the casino as did others and the poker meant that Gareth got to be very visible and everyone could watch him without him being bothered too much. Putting on a theme like the Saturday night party costs an immense amount of money - you can't have that lavish a theme each and every night - all other conventions that I go to still have themed nights but they do nothing at all to add to that theme. I, personally am hugely appreciative of all the time, effort and yes money that Jason and Mark put into the parties. Somehow I doubt the casino people and the various stalls on the Saturday night were doing it out of the kindness of their hearts. As for the bag room the purpose of that last year was only for people to drop their bags when they were having a photo session - which was a huge pain and I thought the new system worked so much better. It was never intended for people to be able to store their stuff there all day and next time that won't be an issue anyway as the hotel is far larger so hopefully everyone should have their own room. Obviously the little details do matter and ME showed over and over this weekend that they do listen to what their attendees have to say. But there is such a thing as being too pernickety. WHOAH just a minute here...why the heck are you jumping all over me for MY opinions...you don't have to like them and they aint being too picky ok. Firstly i don't really care whether it's named a drinks reception or blooming cocktail party...the bar could be opened easy as that...and simple as that. I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE TO DISLIKE WINE...secondly if you read the rules of the hotel you would see you ain't allowed to bring outside foods and drinks into and lastly i payed for a gold pass which was blooming expensive and yet seemed to offer less than last tme so why should i have to pay for a drink becase it aint avaliable...thank god for the free coca cola is all i can say. As for the casino night...unless you are into your history and eras i wouldn't expect you to understand...not one aspect of it was victorian and sorry but i don't feel an aspect of a great nigh is to stand around a casino table staring at Gareth playing a game of poker that my friends couldn't even get into....no insult to G Man there as he's a lovely guy but i like to take part in things not just watch. As for the bag room...well me and my mates thought it was handy to have, some of us don't really like having to carry a bag round and round and round all morning and afternoon....even though we all sttayed in the actual hotel..you still have to carry stuff around. And lastly if they did really listen to what attendees have to say why then when a large majoirty said they would prefer a logo on the tshirts to be on the front was it yet again on the back....sorry no excuse for it...it ain't no price difference from front to back. I have had my rant and clearly some people on here don't like people with opinions.

Intimate Encounter with Matt....never met a man sooooooooo passionate...hope he gets that oscar for his film...hope they give him the rights to it. Gareth recalling me from last time....and i was kinda hoping he wouldn't recall me. Phil Ford recalling me......wooo hoooo...he rocks...and he's going to send my hospital kiddies presents yayyyy. Chatting to Phil Ford in the car park Sunday night. High fiving Matt and getting hugs....ooooooo those thighs. Intimate encounter with Gareth....him and his thing with my ghost hunting...and me saying i'd never lock him in a basement which he took for a yes you will lol. Randy....need i say more. Kai drunkenly posing with me in my werewolf outfit. The Matt and Gareth on stage snog....we did warn Matt...he didn't believe us lol. Winning Matts chair. And the best thing of the entire weekend that really made it for me.... I GOT TO DANCE WITH THE REAL CAPTAIN JACK IN A SLOW DANCE....then did it for the photoshoot...TANGO STYLE.....i could have died... I now have a new TW love...MATT....

Postives..... All the guests...especially Burn....he just looked soooooo happy to be there....as was Tom and Eve. Schedules in the packs...great help. MATT RIPPY........such an amazing guy...love him to bits, easy to talk to, game for a laugh and willing to do poses in photoshoots...and by poses i mean not ya normal hugs etc.... Everything ran in good order...being able to know where and where we were meant to be and SM crew aiding us all the way. Negatives.............. Main huge one first...one of my friends is epileptic and she wasn't warned of flashing cameras prior to the guests coming out. She was warned just once by one lady on the crew who then told her it was safe to return to the room...she wasn't warned again and therefore missed intros with the guests and bits of talks. Now i run a company that involves guests being subjected to flashing images and we always notify when flashing will occur. NOT ONCE did i hear an annoncement from SM saying that if any epileptics or light sensitive persons were present they should leave the room if they felt the need to....i thought it would have been a health and safety issue of guests but clearly it was not. This should be announced....due to the lack of it and lack of help during it my friend suffered a fit when she went out and wasn't even found by anyone. The t-shirts...just seems like the last pleas for the logo to be on THE FRONT was ignored...and it was such a good logo too and yet i can't wear it as my hair covers it...please SM logos on the FRONT. Lack of badges....two this time...4 before...what went wrong there. Lack of the special HUB 2 photo...we had the special HUB 1 photo free last time but not this time. The cocktail party..gold party pass whatever you choose to call it...wine again and the bar not open again but open afterwards...no logic to it...plus it seemed that when the guests were walked around they were taken to the larger groups of people...i was only in a threesome and on 3 ocassions we were ignored and walked around...if it wasn't for my gutsy attitude i wouldn't have gone up to the wonderful Too Tall and told him....huge thanks Too Tall for getting me and my mates seen by the guests in the end. Victorian party.....just what part of that was Victorian....sorry to be picky but it's one of my fave eras.....if anything it should have just been called casino night. On the subject of casino night.....too small a space and not enough tables...me and my friends couldn't really get too anything, we did eventually...5mins before he shut up shop. Bag room......please can we have that back for the next one......it was a nice safe place to leave your stuff, this time it was missing...replaced by scaletrix which i didn't even get seen used...did anyone go on it..everytime we went there it was shut. I won't go on lol.............but they are my main bug bears....had to air them.

Ok this is an extra late adding from me but i was just wondering.....what are the chances of us getting some of the actual Torchwod music played at the parties....i just think it would be blinding to hear themes like Captain Jack's theme played out as loud as they can go...it's just soooooo catchy

Ok i REALLY REALLY nned to know the date for HUB 3 because i have to fly out to Australia in November to be at Steve Irwin Day and the thing is i'd really wanna do HUB 3 as well but if it clashes i won't be able to...i might just cry...

I have a Nikon 10mp coolpix camera whoch is my l;ittle baby and comes everywhere with me. At the end of the day it's learning how to utilise the best aspects of the cameras, things such as macro, snow and portrait..all will give different imaging abilities, it's also learning how to make the best of what kind of light you have avaliable and how best to use the flash. I also have a very large digital SLR Olympus E400 but it's such a pain and i only tend to use it for my paranormal investigations nowadays... Just don't go getting yourself anything lower than 8mp and stay as far away as possible from anything made by Vivitar...they just don't have great concepts.
