  1. This was my first collectormania at milton keynes, i have been to loads at Manchester, what really bothered me about the set up was that the guests were all over the place, and when you first arrived we didnt see any signs, (they were only on the two end doors where to queue for JB & JM) we spent ten mins queing before we realised we were not in the JB queue. We had to go and re que again..thankfully we did eventually get to meet him. In Manchester the guests are along the same wall and you can easily stand around and wait or just hang around to look at the guests and get piccys, and there is plenty of space to browse around the stalls. Unfortunately i spent a lot of sunday running from one side to the other or sending my eldest daughter to see what numbers were on the JB Vt when i was in the queue for JM, also you couldnt get near the stalls in the middle, which was a shame... I loved meeting the guests but it was pretty packed and there were a number of places where bottlenecks were forming, i know it is free compared to other collectormania events but i would rather pay to attend an event where i can relax, walk round at my leisure and not fret about loosing my daughters hand in the crowd... Shame cause it was good to meet JB
  2. When most people are going to bed on a saturday, thanks to virgin(NO TRAINS) i had to be on a bus at 3.30am in the morning to get to milton keynes for 9.30. Queued up for JB tickets, got numbers 781-783 and never thought i would get to meet him. I Took my two daughters (10 & 15) and they loved it, we met eve and she was brill, personalised the girls photos, shook hands and chatted for a few mins, james marsters the same. I can understand why JB wasnt personalising because of over 1500 people wanting to meet him, so i wanted to say thanks because if he had stopped to personalise and pose for photos then the only ones who would have gotten to meet him were the first few hundred, as it was we got to meet him at 4.15pm ten mins before we had to leave to get the coach back to Manchester... My daughters have been dripp fed on sci fi and my youngest loved meeting Darth Vader, Bruce Boxlietner and Mark Ryan, it was her first collectormania and she cost me a fortune!!!! To say her friends are a little jealous is an understatement...... So an 9 hr round trip, a VERY long day. was it worth it YES !!!!!
