I am sorry if I offended you Tallie, please belive that that was not my intentions I was pointing out that at that time it seemed that the ET con was getting more attention than this con, the rude ppl I was reffering to where the ones I read about who kept on butting in on other attendees conversations with the guest and scored out auction bids so that they one, I felt that if they where behaving like that and getting more cons announced whilst "we" ( the fans I was discusing it with, I didn't mean to make it sound like it was us and them, but like everything else it is easily confusable on these boards) where gettin no reply or contact from sm Hopefully now with Joyce these probe won't arriase any more On a side not as suggested by SM I'm taking some time away from the boards, if you need me I'll be on msn and try not cause to much trouble and I'll hopefully catch y'all at the show

i got one, this was a few years back now but it still makes me laugh to this day me and my other half where coming home from tesco one night, but the the bus from tesco to our house goes through a roughish area of glasgow, so you can imagine the types of ppl you get on it so we get on and there are a group of Neds (chavs but worse) near the front, another group of them at the middle, two umpa lumpa girls up the back seat with the phones blasting out techno, and a drunk junkie sitting the other side of the back seat so the techno is blaring, one of the guys from the group near the front say's (i'm translating this into english instead of Glaswegian) "oh, i'm going to get so drunk tonight" one from the group in the middle shouts "no i'm going to get so drunk tonight" they then have a shouting match between the two groups over who is going to get more drunk, i thought they may actually start fighting and all the while this is going on the junkie up the back is sitting happy as larry, clapping his hands and singing "i'm on the bus, i'm on the bus, i'm on the bus i'm on the bus, i'm on the bus, i'm on the bus" strangest bus ride ever there is that and another thing alot of drivers do in glasgow is there is one area that has alot of asylum seekers and there are always lots of them waiting to get on the bus and alot of drivers don't stop or if its a woman with a pram don't let them on even though there is space

i wasn't trying to be disrespectful, but i do feel the buffy and angel fanatics are being slightly disrespectful, not to name names but some suggestions have been ridiculous (granted some one did ask for Zac Effron after he has 13 lines in firefly that barely last 5 min) its not like i'm suggesting Gregg Henry-Sherif Alex Stemkovsky-Bandit Mrs Reynolds Ronald Craig Williams – Jayne Singer Lyle Kanouse – Owner of Serenity Isabella Hofmann – Mummy Tam Tom Virtue – the Doc they knock out John Dunn- The torturer Angie Hart- Random Hooker Franc Ross- Monty but to me suggestions like, Hank summers, Glory's minions and Rachel Benson! are a bit ridiculous when they have better people they could get as guests it would be like lost fanatics suggesting a random survivor that gets killed after one episode for the lockdown con, yeah its the bigger show but it's not the only show being celebrated so why not open your mind to the other show and have respect for fans of the other shows

i know firefly is only a small show and there are only 11 good guests from it but even still i'ld be really pissed if Hank Summers was a guest, the guy was in like 3 episodes i hate that i appear to be the only person campaigning for firefly guest

damn to hell if vince and co have finally done something right after months of balls up plans how good was fridays smackdown, it just was insane with talent John Morrison, Benjamin, Punk, Edge, Y2J, Ziggler and we haven't even seen what they got planned for Jessie (a young RVD in my book) and the debut of the HARD KNOX CONNECTION, i saw them at a house show and they look fantastic so what you guys think, they hit the button or what?

they had Alan Ruck Flying in for Manchester and we've had a buffy guest at every con (Head, Brendon, Landau and now Benson) Eclipse has suffered badly, but i think the guys just played it wrong this time, the expected ppl to buy tickets when no guests where anounced and then when ppl did buy tickets no guests where announced and the balance got thrown but Twilight is gettin a 3rd convention in less than a year and from the reports of the first one, they where rude to the guests and inconsiderate of the other attendees, they had to give them incentives to help advertise! i get the idea cause i know this saga is gonna be huge but its like they don't appreciate what they are getting whilst we are sitting twiddling our thumbs, ready to help for no reason other than we want to and SM are looking us over, i know its a hard time cause you got CM15 and LFCC before us but they have a pretty solid line up now for both of them, it'ld be nice if someone came on and gave us an update or just assured us that they are trying to get us guests and that a party is/isn't gonna happen

Also look at Eclipse there saying that its going to be the last one. I hope that this does not sound rude but showmasters originated in England so naturally it would focus on the events in England more than the 1 they got up here in Scotland (sadly). Only we can open there eyes to show how popular the Glasgow Con can be and then they may put more effort/attention into getting us a fab lineup. Exactly, i dont see any other con with a fanbase like ours who are willing to promote and do anything for the event to make it better

Cena is doing pre-film duties on his new film and will not be on the road for House Shows, so, that is why he jobbed to Edge. then why he show up on raw?! WHAT UP WITH DAT?! anyhoo, Smackdown is apparently amazing this week, even Jakey boy will prob have to admit it i thought it was quite a dull PPV really, Thwagger v Christian was amazing but i saw it 4 nights before at the glasgow house show so even that was boring for me Jake have we done a mind switch?
