  1. Since I came to uni a lot of people have been surprised when I've mentioned conventions etc, they don't seem to consider me a geek untill that point despite the fact that Im a computer science student and order more boxsets off play.com than anyone else in our flat. Saying that, they're greatful for borrowing out of my dvd library KIWI
  2. Ok I read this announcement and frantically bought a train ticket to manchester for Saturday!!! I can't wait!!
  3. Same! I'm from Romford, even though I recently moved to Birmingham.
  4. Definately, that's what I found. Last season was a bit of a mess, it felt a bit disorganised so it's going to be great to watch it return to its old self. Michaels prison break out of Sona is bound to be an exciting season
  5. Thanks!! Looks like the 5:30am service will be the best bet.
  6. I'm moving to Birmingham this week, so I'll be travelling to C12 from there rather than London where I currently live. I'm hoping to go to C12 on the Sunday, because of the Greg Grunberg photo session but I've done a train search and there is no trains running early enough! Is there a different route I should be aware of? A special bus service? Is there anyway to get to MK for about 8:30am without having to stay over the night before? Many Thanks
  7. Same, my Sunday session Dom photo is wanted lol. I did leave a sheet with a very detailed description and my adress on the day. Are the thumbnails going online or will the photo be on its way?
  8. I'd love to see them at another event soon. Having so many Heroes guests prompted me to go home and start watching the series, I'm up to episode 9 now and I LOVE it, and Peter Petrelli is my favourite character. I'm gutted I had the oppertunity to meet them but didn't, I knew I'd be kicking myself when I finally watched the show. Bring Milo and Adrian back:)
  9. Okay, so you expect to be given the right to complain and not get insulted, but yet you insult others who did not have issues, and most have even tried to explain things to some people who had issues? As David said, statements like these are really helping - not. So as soon as someone has a negative opinion it gets shot down? Just being honest....
  10. Id be happy about that because of his connection with The OC
  11. Everyone has the right to complain without facing masses of insults from others, if you don't like what there saying, why don't people just leave it? Some people are so far up SM's arses, I'm convinced SM's pay them to put in a good word.....
  12. That T shirt was brilliant think i might have to get one, lol. That's well good. I wanna get one printed up!!
  13. Yeah I read about this, I'm such a DLM fan too so having him at this event is like the double whammy
  14. I don't know why people even ate there, the high street was 5 minutes away with plenty of places to eat (and cash machines free of charge). It would've taken longer to que up for food in Earls Court than to nip down to Subway....
  15. I'll definately come if some more good guests are announced. I'll be living in Birmingham by then, so it'll be quite easy to reach too.
  16. I hadn't really planned to come to this convention untill a couple of weeks ago so I didn't realise how much hype there was about the Heroes guests OR that they were only signing on Sunday. It was insane when I first got in, and I got early bird but walked through the doors about 10:10am by the time I paid. I couldn't make sense of where anything was! There were huge ques for Heroes and I think maybe a better queing area could've been arranged (and some signposts) The venue was ridiculously dark, although it was nice and spacious and the location is convienient for me personally. Even some stand-alone powerful lamps would've really made a difference, but SM's couldn't have anticipated this. The guests were fine for me, I was only really there for Dominic Monaghon and I was at the front of the que for the photo with him which was great. The free talks were far too quiet, the questions AND the answers especially if your near the back. I think they should take place in a seperate room to cut out the other sounds. Nonetheless I have a nice day, I thought the atmosphere was buzzing, especially at the beginning when everyone made a dash for the Heroes section and I'll look forward to the next convention:)
  17. I hate not knowing why your hearing fades when you yawn KIWI
  18. Oooo I saw you, I was the redhead there. I wish I had a pizza voucher, can't believe me and Siobhan managed to not pay for her hehe, I'm gonna do that more often, maybe I'll try one buffet betweeen 6 next time KIWI
  19. I'll be there with one other friend for some pizza:) Yay, havent seen you in ages KIWI
  20. I'm Ciarae, ( Kiera...spelt weirdly), I'm 17, I live in Romford which is just on the very edge of East London, and I go to sixth form at the moment. I work for Liz Claiborne, an american designer company part time which I quite enjoy and the money is quite good too. I'm very into IT and TV, I'm hoping to study Internet Computing at Uni next year and I'm currently attempting to build myself a computer which should be a good challenge. I love many TV shows, CSI, 24, Buffy/Angel, ER, House etc to name just a few and I collect DVD boxsets of those shows. I been going to Showmasters events since C6 and I just really enjoy the experience and the way conventions are a great way to exercise your passion towards Tv and Film plus meet people with similar intrests. I love going to parties, I play Bass guitar and Piano and love 80's Heavy and Thrash Metal. THats me... KIWI
  21. I'd definately go for that, I usually always eat at Lets Eat when I'm in MK anyway, they stock Mountain Dew!! KIWI
