Unfortunately this does happen, we have seen over the years rival organisers sign up to try and cause trouble and it just shows how small minded and petty they really are. Their behaviour does eventually get reflected in the shows they run simply because the guests stop signing up with them, however it doesn't help people on the forum who don't know who they are and what is going on. Also some people need a serious attitude adjustment, they think it's a right to attend these things and that it's their right to demand the guests they want. They don't seem to want to understand that if they don't like the show/guests don't come. Go and organise their own event and try and get the people they want. It's a bit like they think they could buy a ticket for a Bon Jovi concert and then inform the organisers that they don't like Bon Jovi and they should get Cher to play instead! I also find all these comments I keep seeing about people loosing money on hotel rooms because of the cancellation of thursday a bit odd. If you have booked into a proper hotel (as opposed to a B&, you should be able to cancell the room with no charge. OK, people travelling from overseas might loose out if they booked flights to be there for the thursday but one of the golden rules of conventioning is that things can and do change and don't book if you can't handle that!

You'd have rathered Voyager ended in the middle of some story arc then and never got home?? Thats like what happened with quantum leap, 5 years of "yes you can go home!" then it was ended with a crappy black screen saying "Dr Sam Beckett never returned home"..I HATED that, and vowed if Voyager hadnt got home in the final episode (which for a few moments it didnt look like they would!) I would NEVER watch trek again after such a let down..Thankfully they made it. It doesn't stop you not liking it but IIFC he was able to go home wasn't he but he chose not to? From what I can recall in the last episode he basically met god who told him that Sam was controlling the jumps and the choice was his, so he chose to carry on helping people.

I'd get him for the Stargate film. As much as I prefer the series, the film did launch it after all.

It's obviously not something you are used to but 1 free auto with each guest and £10 for each extra one has been standard at many cons for a long time.

Days attending is usually added a couple of weeks before the event. As for prices have a look at Too Talls pinned FAQ for his price estimates.

Out of interest why did you have to stand up a lot? I'm waiting for some guest announcements before I decide whether to book or not. If its people I haven't seen before (or not often) I'll book.

It's easy in word, you just highlight the 3, go to format, font and then in the Effects category select Superscore, but you still have to copy it over to the forum or an email (or wherever you want it) as I don't think you have those options in those programmes, at least not that I can find.

I want to get him for Stargate but I might splash out and do Firefly as well. I love him in that, I'm just rewatching the episodes now and Jayne is so funny.

Can't comment on the perfect bit but you are a heck of a lot better than some other company's signing shows and conventions that I've been to and the fact that you are still here says a whole lot. I've seen many come into the business, think they can succeed and then dissapear never to be seen again,

I think they probably just haven't gone on sale yet. I don't see any reason why they won't have them this time.

Woo hoo, bronze in team eventing and bronze in individual eventing.

Not that it really matters but it's Commander Pernaux in Ethon. Saw that and was thinking 'I can't remember an episode called Pernaux, my memory can't be that bad.'

They did 5 half day sessions with 120 people in each session. It was expensive, especially when you factor in the travel costs as it wasn't in the easiest to reach location but was well worth it and I'd do it again. He specifically asked Amanda to attend with him because he knew she had done cons entirely dedicated to just her, so knew she would be comfortable with it.

As of leaving for work this morning we are in bronze position at the moment in the 3 day eventing with show jumping still to come.

I've had the Ultra Pro sleeves for years and they have been fine. Only just noticed that the OP said Pro Plus Caffine pill anyone!

I too met him and Amanda and it was wll worth the experience. I get the impression that he's not to fond of big events. It only had 125 for each session and if there's a big event they are only allowing a certain number of tickets to be availalble via a lottery for him.
