  1. If i order a Standard proggramme , can i have the photo sessions with each guest with the standard proggrame or i need the silver programme. If you read the event website, all your questions are answered there. If you have a standard ticket you have to pay for each photo shoot you want. If you buy a silver ticket you get : 1 professional photo shoot with each guest, 1 exclusive convention photo of all the guests attending. So basically, photos are included in the price of the silver ticket but extra if you have the standard. Photo shoots are not yet priced or available but keep an eye on the website.
  2. She really is one of the nicest people you can ever meet. I've met her loads of times now and she has always been very friendly, she really can't believe that she has the following she's got. She's always been very happy with her fans (even when suffering from food poisoning once!) and is a truely geniune person. I hope they can get a few more of the Sanctuary cast to appear alongside her.
  3. Unfortunately it is an expensive business. Even though I have a few pieces there a plenty I've wanted to buy but couldn't justify getting as the simply cost far too much!
  4. I do have an issue with forced dedication, it needs a certain amount of leeway. Whilst it is a good idea to weed out the dealers it can be a problem for those who don't intend to sell on. I always get an 8x10 dedicated which is not an issue, but I don't want dedications on my posters which I get all the shows actors to sign. If I've got 40 sigs on a big poster I really don't want my name on there 40 times as it just ruins it. I don't even want my name on the posters once.
  5. I know he's not in the same league as the guests you are refering to but if SM could ever get Richard Dean Anderson and have him sign personal items, I'd certainly be willing to pay.
  6. Amanda is the only guest announced for C15 and the dates are 5th-7th June. Don't know about guests for the other events.
  7. Having just got back I can confirm that it is indeed very short!
  8. I've gone for Ben, because as much as I love Amanda and she is a fantastic guest to meet, she has been over a few times and will be at another event next year, Ben hasn't been over and would be a fantastic guest to have.
  9. I'll be down on Friday as well. As has been said the only downside to Friday is that generally less guests attend on that day, particularly the UK guests, who tend to do Saturday and/or Sunday. The shopping center is certainly no where near a busy which is nice!
  10. Sorry to digress, but thank goodness you repeated the word Saturday, so now I know your first mention was just a typo. You have to be really thick to spell the days of the week wrong I agree, it was a stupid typo, I blame it on getting up at 4.20am all blooming week!
  11. Friday is coming up as ok. No planned engineering works then. Also from what I am reading on the Virgin website for Saterday the works planned are happening passed Milton Keynes: Some services on the London Euston to Liverpool Lime Street route, will start or terminate at Crewe with Rail Replacement Coaches provided for the journeys in both directions, between Crewe, Runcorn and Liverpool Lime Street.Services affectedLondon-Crewe-Liverpool So if I'm reading it right services from Euston to MK should be unaffected on Saturday.
  12. COuld you not use the Print Screen button on the keyboard? Next to th F12 key. Pause the film in the correct place, press Print screen, open up Word (for example) and paste it in? It's a bit basic but might work.
  13. Although I won't argue against another persons personal opinion, I can't see how you can say Spike didn't evolve. When he first appeared in Season 2 of Buffy he was basically an evil killing machine, that was taken from him with his chip and then his soul and he ended up fighting for good (obviously that is a very quick summary of a complicated story arc). Agreed, I think as well (bearing in mind that it's a while since I've seen either show) that IIRC Spike had some of the funniest lines. Most of the ones I remember where his. Also I love the interaction between him and Angel in Angel. My fav episode has to be Smile Time simply because of those two, although I love puppet Angel as well.
  14. That's what I wanted to do but it didn't arrive in time Anyway I haven't had a response yet so assuming I won't get one, but I will post it if they ever do reply.
  15. When I started getting posters and comics signed I started a word document listing all my items and who has signed it. As soon as I get back from an event I update it with the new names, that way, although sometimes there are signatures that I really can't work out who they are, I am never completely in the dark because I have their name on the list!
  16. Yeah, the ones from Changeling. I saw some of the Tshirts, they had the name of the fire dept on them so it was obvious which ep they where from. I wanted to get one of them but dithered too much and they sold http://www.gateworld.net/gallery/displayim...php?pos=-219749 Hope the link is allowed and apols if it's not. I think from 9 & 10 most of the distinctive stuff is Vala's simply because she wears more non BDU stuff.
  17. There where some distinctive costumes, like their fireman outfits, Carter's good witch glinda's costume from 200, and the silver flight suits from when they test flew the 302, ect but they are the minority. Usually it's just Olive Drab BDU# 25! It would be interesting to see what Jason thinks.
  18. I know what you mean. When I was collecting the comics I got hold of one of the very limited ones with the intention of getting it signed and asked the same question here. The advice I got was that if I wanted it signed it would be best to get 2 so one could be kept pristine. I know there could be a question over the authenticity of the signature but I don't believe it ruins them. In my opinion it only enhances them. When you look at books, first editions can go for lots of money, but if you see a first ed Lord of the Rings (For example) that has been signed by Tolkien, it goes for a lot more. I've submitted a question on this issue to a company I trust who are in the business as I'd like to see what they say on it. If I get a reply I'll post it.
  19. If you get the opportunity Id suggest you do, I'd definately do it.
  20. Same thing here, but my "few" add up to a stunning amount of three. One of them is a prop (this harness thing that Klorel was wearing during his "trial") and two costume pieces from Mitchell. I've got: Carter's native costume from Emancipation - The red/purple one from where she was chopping veg, not the jerkin or headpiece though. A generic black tshirt of Carters used in multiple episodes that I've had signed. A generic olive tshirt worn by RDA in a few eps. A generic black tshirt worn and signed by RDA And I've just bought a tshirt that Vala wore in Unending. I hoped to have Claudia sign it at LFCC but it arrived just after the show even though it should have arrived before! So I really hope she comes back over for another show!
  21. Me too, but only for Stargate. I've got a few costume pieces, some ive had signed, some waiting to be signed.
