  1. I'm sure there will be, just keep checking the shop.
  2. I do feel for you Clara. It's difficult when the guest you want to see cancels, even more so when you are travelling from overseas to see them and you have an unrefundable air fare. However it should be noted, as lams said, that this is one of the risks when you book for a single guest. If you are only wanting to see one person, you have to accept the fact that they can and might cancel and you might loose the money you have paid as you cannot get it back. I can tell you that Amanda is an honest person and she wouldn't book an event if she had no intention of appearing. As has already been said, Showmasters will not announce a guest unless they have them booked. Look at how much grief they get when someone cancels. they aren't going to do that to themselves deliberately. Unfortunately Amanda is very busy this year. She's filming and producing Sanctuary, she has the Stargate film to do and I've heard she may have another film in the pipeline. Unfortunately it's the nature of the business that all that get's priority. I'm sure she will attend another event soon. Lots of people in the past who have been in similar situations have said that they came anyway and had a good time.
  3. Jola - you choose the German/Swiss chocolate you want, and I'll bring it. Lots of it cause I will be part of making that explosion happen. Awwww QS that's *really* sweet of you! Surprise me And yes, I'm currently having a nervous breakdown because the shop has gone crazy! It's going to take me a good 2-3 days to process the orders..... if not longer...... Well thank you in advance for all your hard work from a lot of happy people.
  4. Got photo ticket! Just waiting with baited breath to find out if there will be a talk.
  5. RIP Dom. I'm sure he will be missed by many and my thoughts are with his family. He died from kidney failure and respiratory problems. http://domdeluise.com/
  6. In Resident she was one of the team that went into the Hive to investigate what had happened. She was the first to die in the corridor that lead to the Red Queens's room when the Queen attacked the group with the laser grid. She got her head sliced off by the security laser. If you look at the first photo on the left, that's just before her severed head separates from her body. Nice.
  7. Dizzy!! That crazy little egg man. I remember playing those with my sister, making maps of the worlds so we could find all the items later......ahhhhh..... Joust was good.
  8. I doubt she would have a problem signing an xfiles picture. As far as I know she doesn't have any issues with her appearance on the show so there would be no reason not to. In fact she might like it. It will make a change from all the Stargate stuff.
  9. I'm pleased to say that although I'm still on dial up have progressed from floppies! Christoph is correct - new users won't be offered dial up but if you have it with a provider they will keep you on it and won't make you change.....yet. There probably will come a day though where they will withdraw it.
  10. I have been looking it to it a little but sometimes it seems like it will end up costing more than I currently pay as I've heard you still have to pay line rental to BT (With some packages) as well as your new phone charges and I'm not too bothered by the TV packages. If I do go ahead with it I'll probably wonder how I lived without it but I'm ok with what I have at the moment.

    Twitter

In The Metro (Newspaper) today there was a mention of a chap who updates Twitter when he's flatulates. He's designed his chair to detect the 'gas'. http://theridiculant.metro.co.uk/2009/04/t...ring-chair.html
  12. I do. I don't use the internet enough at home to justify paying for broad band at the moment. It's still a bit cheaper for me on dial up. It's a right pain though especially when it comes to the automatic software updates because they take forever. I don't download anything from Itunes because it takes too long.
  13. A lot of companies just say credit card, but they mean debit as well. However I'd always double check about an Electron as I know a lot of places won't take it.
  14. I voted for Ben B, Chris H and Peter D. Ultimately I would like either new people or those that haven't been over for a long time. I'd love to attend the convention but can't afford to get a ticket if it's all people that I've seen before and are over a lot. I'd really love to see Ben as a fan of Stargate and Farscape but I don't think he's too confident of doing Stargate cons.
  15. Animals that are or have been in the family. Fish that we have had : Flip, Flop and Flappy, Jaws and Moby Dick. Cats : Missie, Grape and Pod (All shortened from their official names, given by my sister, Miss Marple, Grey Puss and Poldark), the current cat is called Snuffy, so named by her previous owners. Additional ex cat called Nekko (not sure the spelling) which is Japanese for cat.
  16. I don't think it's wierd really but I'm slightly phobic about dead things. Not people! Thankfully haven't had to deal with finding anyone dead yet but I mean the little 'pressies' our darling cats used to bring us. I can't deal with dead whole animals, I can't walk past a fish stall without averting my eyes!
  17. As it says on the Gold Programme link: Collectormania 15 GOLD PROGRAMME (formally Gold Pass) There are many advantages to being a Golden Programme holder, which will make your visit to our events even more enjoyable! These include: 1. Shorter queues at the entrance As you do not need virtual queuing tickets you will not need to queue from early in the morning to guarantee meeting your favourite guests. 2. Talk Tickets A ticket for any talks, partie, etc (free and charged-for) will be available free of charge. Tickets will be held back for any Golden Programme Holders, and will be available to collect at the event when you collect your Programme and Pass. Priority seating will also be given to Golden Programme Holders, who will be able to enter the seating area before the main queue. 3. Autograph Queues Golden Programme Holders will have the advantage of being ABLE TO JOIN THE BACK OF ANY QUEUE WITHOUT HAVING A VIRTUAL QUEUING TICKET! This will cut down your overall waiting time incredibly, and allows a great deal more to be done over the weekend. 4. Photo Session Queues Golden Programme Holders will be given priority queuing at the photo sessions! This means you will either be called up first if you arrive at the beginning of the photo session, or will be able to join the back of a smaller queue if the photo session is being called up in batches. (Please note: photo sessions tickets are not included in the Golden Programme. These can be purchased online) 6. Autograph Pack When you collect your pass you will receive a pack containing 5 or 6 autographs worth approximately £75! You can choose from one of the following subjects: Lord Of The Rings, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Star Trek, Joss Whedon, Stargate, James Bond, Original Doctor Who, New Doctor Who, Lost, Heroes, British TV/Film, US TV, Horror or General Film. Simply e-mail us your choice of autograph pack when you purchase your Golden Programme. If no pack is chosen you will be automatically assigned a General Film autograph pack. THERE ARE ONLY 50 GOLDEN PROGRAMMES AVAILABLE! As the Golden Programmes, passes and tickets are collected on the day of the show, please choose the free "Gold Pass shipping" when purchasing. As the Golden Programmes are exclusive to yourself, we will need your photograph to go on the pass. Once you have purchased your Golden Programme, please e-mail us a photograph of yourself (head shot). Please also e-mail us with your choice of Autograph Pack. These Golden Programmes are not available to dealers, only to the public. We reserve the right to refuse sale to anyone. Golden Programmes are not guest specific (refunds can not be offered if the guest line-up changes), are non refundable and non transferable. Golden Programme price does not include the cost of the autographs bought on the day. Golden Programmes are only available for sale up to 2 weeks before the event. If you do not wish to purchase a golden programme, admission still available by standard programme entry and early bird tickets, which will be available for sale on the door over the weekend of the show or from the online shop in advance.

Loved The Five, I like the Helen centric eps.
  19. Just did a quick search and found this website http://www.uktvadverts.com/Home/Search.aspx?company=406, don't know if it would be much help but they have a forum and maybe someone there can help.
  20. She just doesn't like doing events, I think maybe she really doesn't like the crowds.
  21. Suse, FYI it is a rule of the forum that you are NOT allowed to mention other events. Please edit your post and remove the names of the other events she has attended. Also the ones you have listed Rick has been to.
  22. Why is it she was wearing an American flag anyway? She was born in England and lives in Canada So The show she is known for is set in America, hence the flag.
