  1. And the Hamlet tickts realistically it was longer than that as they were available to the Red members for a week, followd by the Orange members for a week, and they still do have a lot available for the cheaper seats which will be realeased nearer he time (I think they held bacl 100 a day) so that's quite a lot that are still available.
  2. I forgot I started this thread and was thinking about this last night. I hope SM can answer before the event if it's not answered tonight as it would be good to know.
  3. Destination Star Trek London an event they helped another company with. I think the basics where that you got your entry ticket and everything else you bought on top of that.
  4. I think the ticket structure will be more like LFCC, that they will have day ticket entry and auto's on top and more expensive packages that cover the whole weekend.
  5. My guess is that there will be a combination of both, that there will be more expensive tickets covering the whole weekend and less expensive day passes.
  6. And I'm still not getting email notification if this went out via email as well.
  7. To store them at home I have them in these folders http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ultra-Pro-Collector-Card-Album-Blue-/311145864703?pt=UK_Toys_Games_Games&hash=item4871bd1dff. I use them in cunjuntion with the Ultrapro single pages.
  8. Thnaks QS. Whilst I will keep an eye on here, I'd hate to miss the notification of when the tickets will be available.
  9. I have a rigid A4 hinged plastic box. It's about 2cm high so it's perfect for me, not too big and it's not heavy. When I put freshly signed stuff in it I make sure that I carry it (in hand or bag) at a slight angle for a few mins so that the fresh auto isn't touching the top cover to ensure the ink is fully dried. Unfortunately I can't post a link as I can not find it for sale anywhere - I looked recently to get one for a friend.
  10. I had to fish mine out of my spam. I did have a look there first but alas nothing.......
  11. Thanks guys, so basically it seems that some did get it and some didn't.
  12. Just checking but did anyone receive this announcement via email? I signed up to the email alert on the main site but only saw this via a twitter feed. Did anyone else get it via the email notification? Just checking to see if I'm either not receiving emails or it wasn't sent out.
  13. They will probably have the usual base priced tickets gradiating to higher priced package so it will really depend on what you want from the event. I've usually just got the regular one before and have been totally happy with it. IIRC the Star Trek event tickets had a few at a couple of grand at the top end but they they had loads of guests and it was run by another company with SM just helping out.
  14. Make sure you have plenty of water for him if he's in a custume as it can get warm in the halls with all the people around.
  15. Yeah but even then nothing is assured. Look at this weekend just gone: They are filming the special now but Ben had to fly to the States for an award show and then flew back again. Unfortunately just because they will all be in one place at the same time for the filming of the 2016 episodes still doesn't mean that they will be free for the con.
  16. I'd go if it were the creators and other cast members. Maybe that would be best and they just try and get Martin and Ben for LFCC at some point - even if they could only do a day and it wouldn't need to be the same event.
  17. FYI for anyone that hasn't seen it elsewhere, Benedict and Sophie have confirmed they are expecting their first child.
  18. Unless it's written into a contract you probably can't bar the stars from appearing a convention/event if it's not related to a specific program/film. So yes, they probably won't be able to advertise any others as a Sherlock event but that wouldn't stop any of the stars appearing at any other event if they wanted to go, whether it be a general signing show or a convention - Ben could obviously go to Star Trek event for example.
  19. ItsWilliam - it is taking place in London unless something drastic happens. Silentbob no guest is guaranteed as you are aware. Every guest at every convention is booked 'subject to work commitments' and is advertised as such although it is easy for non experienced people to miss this. Unfortunately if they do manage to get Ben and Martin and one does have to pull out due to work or other emergencies there may be people who will say it was a scam but as long as that wording is included they won't have a legitimate reason to complain. Unfortunately guests do pull out. Also as this is being done in conjunction with Hartswood Films it's actually as official as it can be so they aren't going to lie about having a guest booked if they don't when the company behind the show would see it.
  20. Both for me - if it's a single signed 8x10, yes, if it's a multisigned item (poster, book or picture), no as it would look wierd having your name loads of times on it. I'm also fine if they want to write something, or have a laugh with their signing. David Hewlett (Stargate) signed one of my posters and drew an arrow pointing at Earth with 'McKay lives here'. A suprising number of Stargate guests jokingly asked me if they could sign over Richard Dean Anderson's head. Even though I said I didn't mind none of them actualy did. I think for the single signed items it's what you intend doing with them that counts as well. If you want them idividually framed or stored it doesn't matter if they all have your name on, but if you wanted them framed together in a montage it would look odd.
  21. Most of mine are either silver or gold and the only time I've had a problem with one was when I got a mounted cast picture signed and put it away too quickly and the wrapping touched the signature and took it off. Other than that as the others have said it must be a problem with what your picture is printed on.
  22. Regarding storage of the 8x10's, at the shows I have a small rigid carry case I pop them into when the sig is dry and they are then nice and safe. When I get home I store them in the UltraPro pages which go in a trading card folder but any A4 folder would do. I always stick a post it note on the back as well with the signers name (Just in case in the coming years I forget who the person was, especially if the sig is unreadable or the person is heavily made up), the date I got it and at what event.
