  1. It will be fine Angel, if there's an order number on the paperwork the numbers will match, (i haven't looked at mine to see if there is) however if you are really stressing over it print out the email to SM where they say it will be OK as well.
  2. I presume it will be fairly obvious which halls they will be in - I guess they will have some sort of banner outside.
  3. Ha! You could all cosplay the spear scene from Hounds. That would be funny, there would be a load of regular looking people walking around london carrying 18th Century whaling spears! I know it's not practical to actually do but I'm giggling to myself imagining you all trying to explain it through customs!
  4. That's the way I've read the details, access is in order of ticket priority and number and then sit where you want.
  5. "Ah ha, Meester Cumberbatch, with this appearance you are really spoiling us......Ferereo Rocher anyone?"
  6. That's true. If you are paying £100 + for a picture and it's not quite right for some reason, you'd be really annoyed.
  7. The main things to remember and the most important are: On the tube, stand on the right of the escalators if you aren't walking down, don't stop in the entrance way on the platform once getting down to it, if you need a moment to gather yourself, move to the side and out of the way. You get 2 tries at the ticket gates, if it doesn't work after 2 tries move aside and find a staff member! Seriously though, there is lots to do and see in London and it's well worth it, especially when the sun is shining. I'd recommend seeing the Tower of London and the jewels.
  8. I think I need professional help. Is there a meeting of Benedicts Anonymous anywhere? I bid on and won a signed Imitation Game poster last night - donated by the Turing Trust. I think I'm going to be reaching Benedict saturation levels soon. "Hello, my name is Kath and it's been 12 days since I last bought something Benedict Cumberbatch related"
  9. I really don't think you have to worry about it Diabolik, looking on the map it's practically next to Excel https://maps.google.com/maps?ll=51.508268,0.038441&spn=0.004,0.011373&t=h&z=17 If you look on the link, Excel is gthe big building on the left and the Travel lodge is in the middle to the right. Google directions say it's 2 mins walking time
  10. If it does go out on email I think it should be posted here as well. Re their other event's it usually gets pinned on the forum.
  11. What about if it's triplets and you name the third Mark, what about then?
  12. 1) As I haven't had digital pic before I'm not sure but i'd imagine there may be a fee. 2) Unless something is announced I don't think that can be answered. If they do a screening for Plat/VIP only that will obviously only be for Plat/VIP, if they say it's availalbe for all then that's also answered. 3) Not sure. Tickets are usually specific to the day and I'm sure this has been asked before and IIRC they can't be used on other days. If you have an issue with a shoot talk to the crew at the venue before and they may be able to help you but if it's a case of you just forget/don't have time you might be out of luck. Re Sarah and Claire, nothing has been said so I don't think they are doing pictures or autos, they would be included in the photo shoot and autograph list if they were, so they are probably only doing the free talks.
  13. 1) As of now, no as they haven't mentioned any intention of doing this. They would have to pay the photographer for an extra day. 2) You can usually buy digital copies after the event I believe 3) Not unless announced 4) Presumably if there are seats available yes. Seating is not in priority order, but entry is, meaning if you have a priority ticket but go in after it's started you have to take which seats are available even if it's only in the back. 5) as far as I am aware they are VIP exclusive as there has been no mention of anyone else being able to get tickets 6) no - categorically no. 7) The mods will help with this but as far as I am aware they are usually acoomodating but obviously you would have to address it straight away. If you go back after the shoot has finished there won't be anything they can do to help you.
  14. I can't believe people think it's acceptable to say stuff like that - do they really think the star is going to say yes?
  15. Seeing as she was at the Olivier Awards made me think, though I've no idea if she's signed before or been suggested already (26 pages is too long to look through) - my guess is Angela Lansbury!
  16. Don't know who may have seen this or not but it looks like one of the vendors will be http://www.associatedoptical.com/who sell the little slide case magnifier Sherlock uses.
  17. I'm not 100% sure as I was a bit hungover but I think it was after 10.30 You couldn't have been more accurate. I've just watched that section and it was at 10.32! It was a massive mention so well done Showmasters. You could see James didn't entirely get it though, bless him.
  18. Criminy - I've just made my list of what items I would like everyone to sign in addition to the one free auto from everyone included in my ticket - my total for auto's is currently running at £525 I was expecting it to be around that but it's a little shocking seeing it as a fact. I may have to have a reassessment but I doubt it'll make a great difference.
  19. Aww Lol. Thanks Evil, I may watch it again on Iplayer so can wizz through.
  20. I'm hoping to find a nice, but small Hobbit: BOTFA's picture.
  21. You'll be fine Angel If you aren't fussed about what to get signed you can just see what they have at the show. All the guests will have a selection of 9x6 pictures at their desks (I think they are £3 each though) if you just want to go with that. Make sure you have something sturdy to carry them in though if you choose to do that as you wouldn't want your autos and pictures to get creased.
  22. Also I could be wrong but I don't think the autograph vouchers from the sales desk are refundable so if you buy them and decide not to use them all you won't get your money back - you should be able to use them at other Showmasters events though, whereas if you are using cash and change your mind about getting an auto you still have the cash. Baggieboi, make sure you familiarise yourself with the posted VQ system if you may want auto's from any of the other guests, you don't want to miss out on a busy guest because you didn't go soon enough to get a VQ ticket.
  23. Places like Zavvi, the BBC shop and Forbidden Planet have a good selection of all the official pictures. I'm no good at making my own stuff and haven't really found much on line that I really like. I have a couple of the official pictures from the mentioned sites. I'll probably get one of them signed by everyone and get it mounted and framed after. I usually get personalised 8x10's as well. I may get some of them to sign the Sherlock Chronicles book and I've got a Dr Who book written by Mark that I'm going to get him to sign. My dilemma is which to get Ben to sign. I'm going to have a look round the stalls as well as something may strike me.
  24. How far into the show was it mentioned? I was going to watch but missed most of it today.
  25. Maple cookies sound delicious.
