  1. That was the second appearance, the one that never happened. He did appear once before. Ahh, I recall being in the queue for that one, I wasn't there to see him though.

    Letters Live

I haven't been to one before but have a ticket for the 31st.
  3. IIRC they did have him a few years ago but he didn't actually get to the event due to security concerns over a stalker.

Wow, there's some lovely pictures there.
  5. Oh just remembered one that's not on the Sherlockology list, the start of Charlotte Street where it meets Percy Street was in Ep 1 - I think when they were walking to Angelo's. You can see the hair dressers, Andrew Jose, when they walk past. (I used to live on that road so recognised it straight away) https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@51.517991,-0.134299,3a,75y,268.36h,90.74t/data=!3m4!1e1!3m2!1sOSSO1MMzjDTPOAqgXmuq7A!2e0
  6. I definitely had that (and real 221B) added to my schedule already! Does anyone else have any more suggestions of places on screen? I was wondering because if I go ahead and make a list, most of it is probably going to be of stuff that's filmed in Cardiff. And JHW--I feel ya. So much sad. (Also on my list--canadian pubs. Reasons.) Tower 42 on Old Broad Street was a filming location for the bank in episode 2. This website is very useful for making yourself a little Sherlock tour http://www.sherlockology.com/locations Have fun! Hah, you beat me with the same place!
  7. Just as an FYI and not to discourage you from going but the 'real' 221B isn't actually the 'real' one either - it didn't actually exist when ACD wrote the Holmes stories. He picked the address because it didn't exist. Locations, you may not be able to get into some. Chad Sanderson in the The Blind Banker was filmed in the entrance lobby at Tower 42 on Old Broad Street Trafalgar Square features in The Blind Banker as well.

This usually happens at the more official conventions. You don't have to buy the photo's though you can source your own or get a signature on another item you want to bring.
  9. The link isn't working for me unfortunately.
  10. The only reason I can think of is maybe that of the most common colours that were available it's the best that stands out on a variety of different coloured pictures and dries the fastest unlike the silver and gold?
  11. Yeah, the one's I've had with him were pretty straight forward as well, just the usual standing next to each other shot, nothing else.
  12. There are a few other locations in London as well that were on screen although briefly and obviously not as relevant as twiga's suggestion.

Again the Mods can hopefully comment on this as the FAQ does say How much are the 8x10 pictures? Licensed SHERLOCKED photos will be available to be purchased at the show from £3 each It might just be another case of wording carried over from other events being missed in the correction phase.
  14. I think the mods will have to weigh in on this one, I've got myself all mixed up over this now
  15. You could always go to Baker Street as I think there is a Sherlock Museum/shop up there. I've never been myself but if anyone has they might be able to offer advice if it's worth it.

Thanks Murphy, I've already bought some pictures I want to get signed but will have a look at the show to see if they have anything that takes my fancy.
  17. Apols as I might be reading what you are saying incorrectly but as far as I am aware Mark is signing for everyone, it's just that as a lead guest he's only going to be automatically included in the top packages, not in the random allocation for gold or included in the Silver. In the FAQ's it specifically says that Benedict is ONLY signing for VIP and Plats and doesn't say anything about Mark. I took that to mean we can't get Mark's as one of our pre-assigned 5 auto's? Correct I was under the impression lead guests will only sign for the top 2 packages. In the gold package you get pre signed auto's of the lead guests. This would be pretty pointless if you could get in person auto's of them (bar Benedict). , Yes, you will get him as a pre signed but I presume as his price is included on the autograph page people maybe able to get auto's with him as otherwise like with Benedict it wouldn't be included there. The FAQ says this about the Leads: What are Lead Guests? Lead guests are the top tier guests, these guests are clearly marked on the website. Will I get to meet the Lead Guests if I don’t have a package? The expected demand to attend the event means that these lead guests can only realistically meet so many people on the day, ticket caps have been considered to meet and best manage these expectations. We have focused on these guests being able to see/meet the most people at one time, to give everyone the best chance of seeing them, rather than activities that mean only a few get to see. Autographs: Benedict Cumberbatch’s in-person autograph will only be available to those with Platinum and VIP packages, no in-person autographs with Benedict will be sold on the day. Currently all other autographs will be available for purchase on the day. Photo shoots: These will be on sale online for all guests at a later date, on a first come first served basis. So it doesn't say specifically that Mark won't be signing for the other packages. Hopefully the mods can clarify this.

  19. It ends 12th April. http://www.museumoflondon.org.uk/london-wall/whats-on/exhibitions-displays/sherlock-holmes/
  20. I've just posted in a different thread here that I find the auto prices are usually similar to/the same as the photo shoot prices. So it's possible that they may well be different but if you go with that as a starting point it'll give you a rough idea. As it's a random selection you will be assigned it's hard to say what you will end up with, it could be all more expensive people, less expensive or a mix across the range. If you want to try and work it out you could assume you will get 5 less expensive ones, so you will work out the maximum you may spend, then if you get some for the more expensive people you will have saved some money. I hope that made sense. I've got to start my list of who I want to sign what soon so I know where I am as well.
  21. Yes, the guests are signing as well. Autographs are not pre-sold, this is why the posts pretty much all are covering photos only. When will the autograph prices be posted? Do not take this as what it will be as obviously it's a different show, but I've found in the past at shows like LFCC and the Collectormania's that the auto prices are usually similar to the photo shoot prices. Also just a reminder that the auto prices are PER signature.
  22. Can we offer any suggestions? What are you trying to decide over, is it how much you may have to spend on all the auto's you want?
  23. Yes Laurab1 is correct, you get them in your registration pack so I don't believe you will be informed before hand who you have been allocated.
  24. Murph, just to clarify but what do you mean by auto allocations? The amount you can get, who is signing, when you can get them or anything else?
