  1. I can only hear that word in Gru's voice now.
  2. The mods are on here so will see this at some point. Perhaps if you can elaborate your issue then people can advise what to do.
  3. That's really unfortunate OurDerek, sorry.
  4. You really shouldn't worry about terror attacks as you'll never go anywhere again! Additionally overcrowding like last year won't happen again - it's a new and bigger venue and a cap on the tickets happened this year. Also I'd suggest it isn't advisable advertising on there that you broke the T&C's you agreed to when you purchased your tickets - you are not allowed to sell them on.
  5. The aisles look pretty narrow.....looks like it's squash time again!
  6. All Saturday and Sunday tickets are sold out.
  7. The list of stalls will not be released. People may post once they are at the venue but SM have never given us a list of what traders will be there before the event.
  8. Simple answer: not usually. There will probably be seating in the cosplay stage area so you could sit down there when it's not in use or if any are free but there may be quite corners where you can sit on the floor . Thankyou. I think I remember the last ones Ive been too there wasn't any chairs to sit. Thats ok. If I'm that tired a corner is lovely! :) Hopefully my excitement will keep me buzzing all day on Saturday! Is it possible for you to take a collapsible chair with you or would that be too much to carry? Then you have something if you need to stop and sit quickly. I bought one from Argos earlier in the year for about £6 so they are cheap enough and it had a carry bag o I could sling it over my shoulder. It's not the smallest thing to lug about but it wasn't heavy and might be an idea? http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/9278321.htm

  10. As per the first post make sure you are at the right entrance: Main Entrance - National Hall Entrance: General Entry (This includes diamond pass holders unless you also have a gold pass). YALC Entrance - Central Hall Entrance: YALC ticket holders, Gold Pass holders & Disabled Attendees. But generally just go with what makes sense and the crew will be there from 7:30am ish and will redirect the queue if needed. Also there will be some venue staff around so they may direct you in a certain way. Are you looking at trying to be the first!!! :) Don't forget to take a picture and post! :) Does anybody have photos of the outside so I know the difference between the Central Hall Entrance and National Hall Entrance? Google maps is your friend. https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@51.4960337,-0.2093777,283m/data=!3m1!1e3 Paste this link in, the general entry is on the bottom right corner by the 4 trees and the Gold and YALC on the bottom left. The entrances are pretty similar though.
  11. reading the FAQ and the YALC bit on the event brite page I think with an LFCC ticket you can go to the talks BUT priority will be obviously given to YALC ticket holders so who know how many seats may be left over.
  12. I'd suggest you contact the guests agent and express your disappointment and see how far you get As everyone says it's par for the course with these events, and is in fact part of the T&C's that everyone agrees to when they buy tickets - that guests can cancel.
  13. Have you looked at the YALC FAQ on the website, all your questions are answered there
  14. It might cause confusion if you want to exit straight away but presumably if you have your wrist badge on you can get back in through the main entrance at any time. However why don't you go and get any VQ tickets you need (if you want to meet any of the diamond guests that is) and meet him somewhere inside.
  15. If you want bronze you'll have to take it yourself and ask the guest to sign with your pen.
  16. http://showmastersonline.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=89444 Hi Marty, have a look at the above link for the photo shoot schedule. It's has all the guests listed by day so find the ones you have shoots with on the relevant day and it will tell you which photo shoot area you will need to go to and what time the shoot will be. I hope that helps. The VQ tickets are given out at the table of each guest.
  17. That's incredibly difficult to answer. I have used buses in central London before and they are ok until they aren't, however I don't have any particularly local knowledge so don't know if there are road works or diversions in place. When I have been at Olympia before I don't recall noting that the traffic was particularly heavy but it's London! With the buses at least you have the option that if the traffic is slow moving you can get off and walk so I'd recommend having the route printed in case you do decide to get off.
  18. Oh yes. Didn't Alex Meraz get called back from the airport once? I'm not sure if I have the right guest, but I remember it was someone from Twilight. Something similar happend to us when we were attending (another event) - lauren cohen was scheduled to appear, got on her flight and found out during her layover that her schedule had moved up... so she had to recollect her luggage at the layover point and haul back on the first flight back to the states for TWD reshoots It happened a few years ago when SM had Chris Judge booked. The day he was due to get on the plane he was called back to the studio to re film/voice some stuff. To his credit he got on another plane straight after and came straight to the event even though by that time he had effectively been up for about a day and a half already and got through everyone he could (hopefully he got some sleep on the plane). I think he was only a few hours late in the end.
  19. 1. That really depends on where you are getting off the train. Please let us know which station you will be coming in to as there are lots around the venue. Alternatively use Google maps to work out your route. Or look at post 141 on page 8 where a route map from Earls court Tube station has been kindly posted. 2. As if as I am aware there is no dedicated changing area and you may have to use the toilets, someone will correct me if I am wrong though.
  20. Sorry to be sarcastic but this has been answered a couple of times already in this thread and the answer is fairly obvious anyway - they obviously would use the hall if they could, so if they aren't, there's obviously a reason why they aren't. SM aren't going to have said 'screw it, lets make it difficult for ourselves just because we can' or 'jeez, why didn't we think of that'. SM have said they will be using the entire venue next year.
  21. SM love it, I mean look at their Initials that's not by Accident.... Now no attacking Animals Mr Tompain, We Animals are Protected . Never go to Australia Mr Camel....... (Adding: I do not for a second mean that Australians are cruel to or do not protect animals, just a comment on the status of camels there)
  22. Yeah, it was looking between the floor plan here and the http://olympia.london/organising/seven-venues-connected#zoom-conference that did it. If I've worked it out correctly we go in the National which has an upper gantry (I'm sure that will be where they staircase they had built will be to get up to the gantry level) which will then have access to the main West and Central floors?
