  1. Well said and glad you had a great time, mine was pretty much like that though I'm glad to be home now and off my feet!
  2. Agreed, Ellie, it's not advisable in my opinion to leave it that late to arrive, you never know if there will be problems on the train ect. I'd get there as early as you can, and like Firecracker said at least aim to be inside about an hour before.
  3. You'll probably be fairly well back in the queue if you arrive at that time and I can't really give you an estimate of how long it will take you to get in. I got to the venue at about 6.45 this morning so wasn't too far from the front and was therefore in in a few minutes once the door opened. However the later you arrive the further back you will be. Hopefully if anyone arrived around 9 today and see's this they can advise you what time they got in.
  4. I left at about 12.30 and there were still a lot of people queuing to get in, however it was moving quickly and I didn't have any issues getting in this morning. The venue is busy and some isles are a little difficult to get down as people obviously aren't moving quickly but I thought it was well organised and everything moved smoothly.
  5. Well, Thats a bit disheartening for Sigourney Weaver fans :// Pretty standard for the bigger guests as far as I have seen over the years, they want to get as many people through as possible.
  6. A woman walked down to the front of the RDA queue today looking oblivious so I don't know if she actually was or acting it - there are a lot of people who don't come on the forum and haven't looked into how the event works so she may not have known about the VQ's, however I don't think there was any mistaking us all standing there! I quietly told the nice crew member on the cash desk and she asked her to go and queue properly.
  7. Gold passes have only ever allowed you to join the back of the queue, never to go straight to the front. If you have a diamond pass you are guaranteed as far as it is possible to do so. Before anyone stresses over that I mean such as the guest taking ill or having a family emergency and having to leave - extremely unlikely though it is.
  8. Ditto: Go, do what you want when you want and then go home!
  9. No, you need a Virtual Queue ticket (VQ) for every guest you want to meet. Please read the FAQ threat to see how these work. All of the busy guests will need a VQ to see them. You will not be allowed to queue without one.
  10. It would probably be ok for you to leave and join him but I'd advise saying to the people queueing around him that you aren't queue jumping
  11. I doubt you will be able to get your goldpass in the standard queue as that would be far too much hassle for the crew. You could just wait for him inside once you have yours, go round to the main entrance and watch for him coming in.
  12. That's how many the guest got through.
  13. How long will you have with MJF in the shoot? About 10 seconds. It really is that quick with the shoots, it's go up, pic taken, out. Regarding the time I can't help much there as I've never done a batch shoot. There only seems to be the one session on Sunday whatever batch you are so be there for 4pm and queue. They usually call you in in batch order but whether 4 will be first or last I can't say. You don't want to miss it though. Talk to the crew on the day maybe.
  14. I don't think you will be able to change it unless you go to a bank, pay it in and take it out again in £5's but you would need a bank that was open for that a you won't get 5's from a cash machine. If you are worried you could always use the notes you have to buy auto vouchers in the correct denomination at the sales desk at LFCC although it can be very busy.
  15. Check the first post it has the schedule of all the shoots but Sundays Delorian is from 4pm
  16. Go to the sales desk and you can buy them from there.
  17. The office has unfortunately been inundated with emails and so don't have a quick turnaround for replies unfortunately. I'd be suprised if it was anything other than a no I'm afraid. As the others have said the show is sold out so they can't give you a ticket they don't have.
  18. There will be up to date plans around the venue so as long as you don't have to be there the second you walk through the door don't worry. just remember to check the plan which you should do anyway in case of any changes.
