  1. THANK YOU!! Ive been thinking ALOT on how to sort this out on my own, and this will save me alot of time!! You're welcome! Good to hear this helps :) I make one like this every year, but really this is the first time I'm sharing it (except with my husband and one or two friends). Hope you get it all sorted and it works out :)
  2. My (hopefully) final list is 41 people, getting 58 autographs. That is after some MAJOR cutting down, The original was about 55 and 75. Only a couple of photoshoots though, so maybe we will have some time to go to talks. I guess we'll mainly be standing in line though :-) My creditcardcompany loves me.
  3. Basically it's always better to ask before taking a picture too. I've crewed with one or two actors who were fine with pictures being taken as long as they were asked beforehand. Gives you better pictures too
  4. Robert is always happy to sign his books. Free if you bring them, but he also sells them at the show. I'm a big fan too, always buy at least one book :)
  5. I made a spreadsheet with the full schedule for talks and photoshoots and an easy sheet to calculate your total costs/remind yourself who you're going to meet. It;s at https://docs.google....WGt5M05ORE1UdUE First page: list of guests with days attending, prices of autographs, photoshoots and talks. Just fill in what you're getting, how much you've paid trough pre-orders and the sheet does the rest. Second page: colour coded schedule for all announced talks and photoshoots. Makes it easier to spot clashes Hope this is of use to someone other than myself :)

  7. I will answer from my own experience, others will surely follow :) 1. Yes for at least the two not in the buggy. I would assume the youngest one doesn't need one. 2. That kind of depends on who you are seeing and how long you're staying. With higher number tickets it will take longer for it to be your turn, but if you arrive fairly early you shouldn't have too many problems. here is always a huge queue for entry, with or without pre-ordered/early bird tickets, so the later you're there the longer it'll be till you get in. In my experience most of the talk go fairly quickly, but again, it depends who you want to see. 3. You'll have to leave the talk or come in later. I have had this and it cannot be avoided really. Just be sure you tell one of the crew, they will try to sort it out if possible, but in some cases, a clash is a clash.
  8. My husband talked to him on the phone! I'm not sure of the whole story, but apparently he stepped out for a bit, and my husband and a friend were waiting at the table. Someone (I'm guessing his agent?) gave him a call to see how long he would be, and then handed the phone to my husband. He had no idea who was on the line, and after his "hello?" he got "I will steal your soul!" in reply. So yes, a very droll sense of humor!
  9. I have to say that if I had known him to be in Harry Potter I would have gotten Henry Roberts' auto. Now, as I thought him "just another SW guest" (and I mean absolutely no offence in that, I love SW, just not into collecting SW autos), I didn't even look at his table.
  10. And everyone else with an earlybird is already inside. (Though the queue clears up pretty fast when the doors open, usually)
  11. I've brought a tube too, no problem, even with a cane inside once. And you can do damage with anything if swung hard enough...
  12. Yeah, not too long before it opens, It'll be a quite relaxed evening I hope :) There were supposed to be 3 of us, but one can't make it till Saturday. *edited* Sorry but we don't allow selling/trading on here. Tickets can't be returned either.
  13. Yes, necessary panic only, please. Could you tell my husband? He gets panicky because he's worried about EVERYTHING going wrong, from missing flights to not bringing our tickets to sneezing while in a photoshoot.
  14. Excited? Bouncing around more like! Am busy addind the finishing touches to my bag, double-, triple- and quadruplechecking that I have everything and redoing my booklist (I tend to buy a lot of books in London, and need a list to not buy doubles). Getting butterflies in my stomach now as well, haven't had them for a while, but this is going to be LEGEN- wait for it -DARY!
  15. You can get tickets for the experience in advance, just go to their site, and order some for the timeslot you want. It goes in 30 minute bunches, and they state that visiting will be around an hour and a half total. Is it possible for you to get there earlier? That would make a difference, as you'd be more to the front of the queue, and would likely get a lower VT ticket. If you can't get there earlier and are set on meeting Karen, I'd recommend this: - go inside, get a VQ ticket, have a look around - go to the Experience, it's a little over a mile away at Olympia Two. - go back to LFCC, meet as many guests as you can/want waiting for your ticket for Karen to come up. This way you will be at LFCC as late as possible, which gives a better chance at meeting Karen, and will give you a very pleasant way to spend your waiting time :)
  16. Oh, I almost forgot I have that one, will need to wear that too! Wave if you see me What?! How many of us are going to wear those shirts? Ok, change of plan, I want to be original... I think I will go for my black shirt with the Space: 1999 logo. Haha apparently it's a popular choice! Mine's the blue one, most people have the red I think.... doesn't bother me if someone is wearing the same shirt though; great minds think alike and all that jazz BAZINGA! Mine is red, with Sheldon's head plastered over it, and Bazinga! underneath. Oh, and Sheldon IS God. And Batman.
  17. I know someone who askes every artist to draw her Borgteddy (some of you will know her or the bear ), and most are okay with it. It would be a good thing to have a picture along, not everyone will know how the characters look right away. You can always ask, and if they say no, well, someone else might say yes!
  18. Shout AAAAAARGGGGHHH and be bummed, then get an 8x10 instead of my own stuff, or run into town and buy something for them to sign (yes, it has happened!)
  19. our family haves a bit of all flavours: dad loves football brother and me love film other brother loves both mom and sister not too bothered about both One thing we all have in common though, we ALL LOVE BOOKS!
  20. We're coming from Holland, and are adding a few days of London to the Lfcc itself. Going to the Dr Who experience, buying lots of books etc. We try to go every year, it only an hour or 5 from home to the hotel.
  21. YES on the deodorant! I've been to cons, and the very worst is when you're standing in line and you are confronted with someone else's not-so-pleasant odour. I always forget to take one in my bag though, and end up buying anew one. This has happened on the last 4 (!) cons, I now have a nice collection of handbag-sized bottles...
  22. Oh, I almost forgot I have that one, will need to wear that too! Wave if you see me
  23. I bought a "Penguins are cool" t-shirts a few years back at LFCC, will be wearing that one day. Also a Mario "1up" mushroom shirt with matching hooded sweater/jacket (no idea of the English word) and probably a Nightmare Before Christmas t-shirt. Matched with jeans, for comfort :)
