  1. Thanks for posting this egjohnston. I didn't get a ticket at the first event last year, but really enjoyed that so have been keeping an eye for updates about the second one
  2. More from Being Human, to join Michael Socha. Having watched the last ever episode last night I'll be suffering withdrawal symptoms by May! Particularly would like to meet Damien Molony But also Andrew Gower (Cutler), Donald Sumpter (Kemp - he'd be good for GoT too!), Phil Davis (Captain Hatch), Steven Robertson (Rook), Amy Manson (Daisy), Paul Rhys (Ivan). And Lee Ingleby (Wyndham) - was hoping to meet him for Life on Mars too at the event he couldn't make, so would be great to have him rescheduled for CMMK
  3. Claudia Black would be brilliant to meet. And I'd like to meet some of the SGU actresses. Particularly Julie McNiven, Elyse Levesque, and Alaina Huffman

  5. Wasn't really considering this event, what with plans to go to both LFCC and CMMK earlier in the summer But this guest announcement is making me take a serious look at my finances to see if I can do Cardiff too!
  6. Great guest. I met Michael at LFCC last year - he was really nice and friendly.
  7. SGU people would be great. As well as David Blue, who I mentioned above, I'd especially like to meet ... Robert Carlyle Julie McNiven Brian J Smith Alaina Huffman Also Tim Guinee JR Bourne Robert Picardo
  8. Claudia Black David Blue
  9. Thanks for the heads up Great announcements I couldn't make this weekend, but will definitely go to 8.0!
  10. Really sorry to hear this. Wishing him well and hoping to meet him soon.
  11. I got mine today, and only have one ticket for the weekend pass. So I'll be bringing my email confirmation just in case there are any issues.
  12. This is a good announcement for my growing Doctor Who collection of photos and autographs. Thanks!
  13. Thanks for the update. I'm still hoping for a Craig Sheffer photoshoot. I know sometimes people get added to the photo schedule so fingers crossed!
  14. I missed out on the group photo with all three of them last time as they weren't on sale before the show and the photo op sold out literally to the person in front of me in the queue at the sales desk!! Gutted!!! So I'd be EXTREMELY pleased to have all three of them again and would definitely buy all combinations of whatever photo-ops were available!! I've got a single photo with Aidan from that LFCC, but I'll be getting another one as he's brilliant!! Excellent guest announcement. Will let my fellow Being Human fan mates know.
  15. I had a brilliant weekend, and also want to say thanks to everyone for organising the event, both before and at the event. The guests were excellent. All were chatty and friendly, and seemed pleased to be there. I get the impression that sometimes some of the guests who haven't had a big part in a show don't understand why we fans want to meet them and worry that they won't have much to say! But in my experience they're always great, with good stories to tell about the show or their other endeavours and these guests were no exception. All the guest talks were interesting, funny and great to be part of. I could have done with another half hour (or many hours!) of Anthony Head on stage, as he was particularly entertaining. Frazer Hines was really funny and it was great to hear hear the stories of his time on the show. David (my big draw having missed him last autumn when I was ill for EMS!) did not disappoint!! I'm not going to start on how great it was to meet him as I'll go on for ever! Suffice it to say that I was REALLY pleased to have this opportunity to meet him and he was wonderful. It was nice to have such a small number of fans. It generally made the weekend feel more relaxed for me. Which made for a really nice change for me after the mad, dashing about, busy weekend of my last event (LFCC). As usual, the crew were friendly and helpful, and it was nice to chat with them whilst queuing. I thought the photo sessions were well run by the crew and I was happy with the on-site photo printers. It was good to get the photos there and then - thanks for getting that system set up. The photographers were great too (which was particularly good for me after I experienced some issues with odd composition of people and background at LFCC!). I've not had many pictures taken by Giles over my years of coming to ME / SM events, but they are always excellent. The other (three?) new photographers who I think took one photo each also did a great job, so hope to see them again at other events - thanks to you all for the great photos I've now got of me with the guests! And thanks to my fellow fans - it was lovely to have friendly people with similar interests to chat to at the event, particularly as I was there by myself for this one.
  16. Apologies if I'm being dense, but just wondering how this will work with no groups?
  17. That is good news for me as I would have missed the Sunday Gold drinks reception on the original schedule due to my train time!
  18. I've been re-watching some David T Doctor Who recently, before this event, and watched that episode last weekend! Velile was great - look forward to meeting her!!
