Also if you're attending C13 from Friday - Monday (like myself) I guess theres plenty of time for pubs/clubs, plus not everyone is into the whole pubs/clubs thing!

Wow! Lizzy, I'm impressed! Reading your signature you're obviously quite a star trek fan. I've met quite a few of the guests on your list (but not too many from DS9). What days are you attending, are you going to meet Connor, Max or Katheryn at C13? Out of interest did you meet Gates Mcfadden at Collectormania 5 in 2004? I did attend C5 but sadly she was feeling unwell and had to leave early that day so I never had the pleasure of meeting her Oh well, one of those things, I should have arrived earlier, I was young and foolish... Damn, lovin' that pic. Kinda wish i had met her now :s She was the most amazing guest i saw, ever.. kindness-wise. I explain: as i was in the queue, the camera battery of the people in front of us went faulty at the moment of snapping the picture. Nana actually offered them to use her own camera, by switching the memory card.Tthey did, and they got their picture... Have you seen guests doing that often?? I was impressed... Truly impressive person. Respect! Had to say something when I saw this comment - what a superb guest! I thought exactly the same when I met her, she really was one of the kindest guests.

I'd seriously suggest waiting a bit longer yet, I usually book time off work (as i go on Friday and stay until Sunday) before I've even seen the guest line-up, I've never been dissapointed with CM. In fact I'm already very pleased with the announcments so far, so it can only get better! Showmasters might even supprise you, I mean take a look at the number of guests announced literally at the last minute for LFACC! If they could get Gates McFadden it would make the event perfect for me!

Agreed - I didnt really understand why there were so many people standing around the guests for long periods of time. I had to come back to Patrick Stewart every so often to see if my VT number was up yet and I saw the same faces again and again standing around causing a large human barrier to form preventing those with valid ticket numbers from geting to the guests. Theres nothing the crew could have really done, perhaps send a few Klingons into the crowd next time?

After much trepidation it looks like i will be able to attend tomorrow. Is anyone able to confirm if earlybird tickets are actually on sale at the door tomorrow morning before the event opens? Locutus

I do hope flash photography is permitted in that case, i know its often not and understandably so. To anyone that took photographs today - did you require flashes and were they allowed? (Makes you appreciate that glass roof at Milton Keynes shopping centre!) Locutus

I would love to see Gates attend, I beleive the last (and possibly the first as well?) Collectormania in MK she attended was C5 in 2004 however she was unwell on the day i arrived and therefore had to leave the event early. It would be nice to see some 20th anniversary celebrations taking place. I really must get back into the CM forum scene again! Locutus

Lol, I suppose this could be seen as a rather odd post! I only made the connection with the long hair and collectormania the other day - as i was reading a post on a long hair website about a group of long hairs who only knew each other via the internet and decided to meet each other.... and i suppose thats what got me thinking!

Wow - its been a long time since I last posted, the place hasnt changed much... I've always noticed how many of the guys who attend Collectormania have the most magnificant long hair. I'm a guy and am currently growing my hair out - looking forward to it reaching a decent length where i can tie it back into a ponytail. I can honestly say that so far I've not been tempted to cut it.... i think its because im past the stage of actually caring what others think (unless its a compliment of course). So to my question - I was just wondering what inspired you to grow your hair, how long you have been growing and what length its currently at, and of couse anything else you can add to that! (Just to clarify I'm not trying to exclude the girls - your more than welcome to post, this is just a thread to discuss mens long hair at Collectormania).

Very sad news, my thoughts are with his friends and family. I was fortunate enough to see the last recording at Television center of the Two Ronnies Sketchbook (recently shown on BBC 2).

I have also never been to this sort of signing in a record/book store. Would he sign only sign the dvd? Or could i bring a different item with me to be signed? Thanks
