Longer Friday is great. The only thing with Olympia - I know that there is more space etc but it was quite 'narrow' around the dealers - Could this be taken in to consideration next year - In request terms - Please make the aisles as wide as humanly possible. Cheers JA

How very odd then? From Sheffield on the days around, tickets are the usual about 20 quid, on the Saturday and Sunday every ticket is the same at 71 quid! Odd, odd, odd JA

He called my brother on the phone - In character (24) and then asked me if he would be welcome at the Sheffield comic con as he would like to do more. I said yes and he asked if I would be his guide around yorkshire. Later he came up while I was sitting down, remembered my name and stood and chatted for a few minutes - He was a GREAT GREAT guest and I do hope he turns up at Sheffield JA

I totally agree with Pre selling Saturday. Also do think about changing the name of the on the day queue for Sunday - Something like 'Stand-by Queue' would/may maintain expectations a little better. Package tickets for big guests are good plan and I look forward to them but I do worry, I know the aim would be to keep it as low as possible but it definitely should be kept accessible to many price wise. Also limited well in terms of availability. JA

I think it's great that these shows are so popular - however it has now outgrown Earls Court. You can't really enjoy the stalls as the aisles are just crowds shuffling slowly around. I don't know where it could go and I know that Earls Court won't be there much longer anyway, but if it is around next year, perhaps (as we won't have Stan Lee - Guest in one of the Earls Court (1 or 2) and stalls in the other, I don't know, just something. The queues and crowd were bad yes, but I hope that SM may change how the Saturday is run with regards to tickets. Maybe don't call it pay on the day, maybe call it Stand-by. That way everyone would accept that they may not get in... I got in fine and the guests were really great (with the exception of a certain Power Ranger) - Glenn Morshower was fantastic! He called my brother on the phone as Aaron Pierce from 24 and it made my weekend! Anyhoo, hope everyone has good day today JA

Thanks all - I am going to be very optimistic and plan about an hour for queue/meeting on Friday. Like you say it is quite a late announcement and although it will be very busy, I think it should be quite quick. Fingers crossed - Maybe next year the preview will be something like 3 - 9 Cheers JA
