Update in the small and big variety.

first the small guest which is Sonia Leong who did artwork for the book "The Women who Lived", she is attending all days and whilst no price is listed i would say if youre after her signature, try and offer some money, work needs appreciating.

and now for the big guest we have Paul Cornell, yes one of the most important names for Doctor who in my opinion, the creator the companion Bernice Summerfield, and if you're unaware Big Finish started with the character in a spin off which allowed them to get the doctor who license, from the writing angle for the TV Series range, he is the writer of "Fathers day" from Series 1, so either a complete first series or a Series 1 Volume 3, or "Human nature"/"Family of Blood" from Series 3 so for that you'd need Series 3 Volume 3 of a complete Series 3 boxset, maybe if you met Harry Lloyd last year you could get Paul's to compliment his (Again Showmasters book Gerald Horn i beg of you).

his credits are far from over, Cornell also wrote "Scream of the Shalka" the webcast animation which was for a time designed to launch the series again before it returned with Eccelston, for Big finish we have "The Shadow of the Scourge", "Seasons of Fear", "Circular time" and "100" from the main range, and "Love and War" from the novel adaptations, along with many if too numerous to name from The Bernice Summerfield range.

he does also appear as himself in numerous documentaries, including "Terrance Dicks: Fact & Fiction" ("Horror of Fang Rock"), "What Lies Beneath" ("Doctor who and the Silurians"), "Celebration" ("The Five Doctors": 25th Anniversary Edition"), "Striped for Action: The Seventh Doctor" ("Delta and the Bannermen"), "War zone: The End of an Era" ("The War Games") and "Blast from the past" ("The Day of the Daleks"), so any of those stories either on DVD or Blu Ray Boxsets, and in addition to all that hes in 4 episodes of "Doctor Who: Confidential" one of which is on The Complete Fifth Series.

so with this amazing range of credits it is a shame he's only attending on the Saturday, but from a previous meeting he signs for free, something i refuse to stand (Or knowing my left leg hobble) for, so if he says free, i'm going to pay the man.

my choice in items for signing shall be "Delta and the Bannermen", "Scream of the Shalka", "The Complete Third Series" and "The Shadow of the Scourge", what about everyone else, i would love to hear your thoughts.

Sonia's lovely to speak to. She has her two Doctor Who prints in a variety of sizes at very affordable prices. Highly recommend.

Also, to add to Paul Cornell, for any 13th Doctor fans he wrote the webcast during lockdown called "The Shadow in the Mirror."
    Lovely guy!

I don't know if anyone has noticed, but there's this extra bit of text (bolded by me) pertinent to some of the guests attending LFCC Winter who are on Diamond Pass. This is from the tickets page itself.

    David Tennant Diamond Pass Sunday

Select quantity: David Tennant Diamond Pass Sunday price: £220.00
Sales end on 19 Nov 2022
The Diamond Pass Upgrade is tailor made to David Tennant. This pass DOES NOT include entry so please purchase entry tickets or a Gold Pass to validate it. This package includes:
1 x Exclusive Diamond Pass Dog Tag.
1 x Standard Photo Opportunity with named guest on Sunday.
1 x Guaranteed in-person autograph with name guest on Sunday. This can be on either your own personal item or a 10x8 supplied by us. If you wish to buy more you will be required to get a virtual queue ticket and rejoin the queue later.
1 x Exclusive Diamond Pass Gift Queue Access. No virtual queue ticket is required however Diamond Pass Holders will be called by number. Your number can be found on your pass.

Very sneaky. Some of the guests, you get just your one included autograph and that's it, you can't buy another two while in the queue, you'll have to grab a VQ if you want any more.

    For Matt Smith as well.

yeah thats only for the post series 13 content, its not going to include "Revolution of the daleks", Series 13 or any of the specials post that series i don't think.

Yeah, it's only the last three specials of Jodie's era.
Maybe in the future we'll get a Flux + specials release.

on a side note i hate the BBC for essentially splitting what should be one release into 3 so far, given that the last three i listed should have been a single boxset as a result that "boxset" feels flimsy with only two discs.

There's going to be a complete specials DVD release. It's currently available for pre-order.

  5. The only way to guarantee getting his autograph is to purchase a diamond pass.

If you arrive very early you have a good chance of getting a low VQ number. However the likelihood of getting through VQ tickets depends very much on how many diamond passes get sold, how much time he has to sign around photo sessions, and also attendance numbers.

Good luck getting your items signed.

  6. Yeah - buffy and angel guests!

    :D

I'm afraid to say that none of these guests will be able to appear(as far as I know).

Emma, Amy, Andy, and Tom...are appearing at another event, and going on past knowledge, it's normally written into the contract that they can't appear at another event for a specific amount of time, before and after the event.Without permission...I'm pretty sure that's how it works. Eliza's doing her one off appearance somewhere else, and James is doing his own european tour, and it was stated that this would be all he's doing this year(although that might change now that Angel's been canceled???).
