  1. Here's an idea. If someone only has a £20 note for a £15 auto and there are no £5 notes available then maybe the crew could find those close to the top of the queue who do have the correct change and let them go first. Then there would change for the next person who doesn't have it.
  2. At last a sensible answer. You ask a simple question.......
  3. Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't the Collectormania 7 website read 'CONFIRMED GUESTS'?
  4. Burt Reynolds was great, he was talking to us for ages and probably would have talked a bit longer had we not been herded thru by one of the crew (not complaining though as i understand there are a lot of people to get thru!)
  5. I thought everyone was great this time. The atmosphere was much better than C6. Well Done!!!!!!
  6. Hi, It's nearly to years since the E-1 fiasco and wondered if anyone actually got a refund?
  7. Good Points : Dwight Shultz (he was great) Richard Hatch (He was too) Friendly, helpful and polite crew (except one, see below) Bad Points : Didn't buy anything from stalls this time as I felt like a sardine in that area it was just too crowded! That woman collecting tickets in Dirk Benedict's queue, how rude was she? Nicholas Brendon's queue herding (Who else felt like cattle?)
  8. Met Brent @ LFACC and Marina @ Expo and they were both great there too!
  9. Maybe but signings do help them when not working and a quick chat doesn't cost anything
  10. It was quite a large dark building inside with plenty of room for stalls (unlike Collectormania). Last time we met LeVar Burton, Brent Spiner, Tony Amendola (Stargate), Danny John-Jules however we was on a budget as we only found out about it the night before.
  11. Expect a long walk from the tube if you're travelling that way. Also wasn't sign posted very well, spent 1/2 hour looking for the entrance. However once inside it was very enjoyable. One warning though, take a packed lunch, the mars bars cost small fortune there!
  12. Yes, C5 went on friday and had no probs. But C6 Sat was a nightmare you couldnt even look round the stalls.
  13. Yes after all signing a few (hundred) photos at £20 a go is a good days work not to be sniffed at.
  14. Dwight Schultz has to be the most friendly guest of alltime. He spoke to us for ages like he'd known us for years! Absolutely brilliant and just how it should be!
  15. We found Carrie to be quite pleasent. I did get a smile from her! and my fiancee got a few words from her. I think guests' attitudes can change from hour to hour, we was at LFACC earlier this year and LeVar Burton spoke to us for ages and was really friendly, but another fan we spoke to said they had met him at an earlier convention and he was miserable! Guests can be so fickle can't they!
  16. Richard Hatch was also brilliant, but the organisers completely underestimated his popularity and had to bend his queue round for safety reasons then they had to put him on virtual tickets when the queue got too long!
  17. DWIGHT SCHULTZ - BRILLIANT! need i say more?
  18. Yes I agree. And he could have used a gold pen too i'm sure he could afford one! You couldn't see his autograph on one of the photos we had signed!
  19. Did anyone feel like cattle being herded thru nicholas brendons queue?
  20. Michael Dorn has to win the award for the most unfriendly guest, he looked liked he just didn't want to be there. Hardly a murmur passed his lips, he just skwiggled something that looked vaguely like his name on his photo. When we was about to take his photo he whinced 'no flash no flash' and my fiancee explained that the flash was turned OFF and he subsequently settled down back into robot mode (This was strange as I had just taken his photo myself WITHOUT the flash). Anyone had any similar experience with him or other guests!
