  1. Dave/Showmasters, Can I ask why this year you have started charging a staggering £5 extra for personalization? I mean that's all it is, PERSONALIZATION!!

As I said before, I personally think this is way too steep and over the top, as last year I pre-ordered and paid £15 for an autograph which included a dedication back then (oh happy days!)

Is it anything to do with the recession or owt?!! :P

  2. I've just checked out the Autographica site and was astounded that they are now asking for an extra £5 for a personalization on autographs.

This, to me, is nothing more than a RIP-OFF! I've pre-ordered in the past and the prices at e.g. £15, INCLUDED a personalization if you wished back then.

I've no objection to paying the £2 P&P fee, but to now ask people for an £5 if they want a dedication (on top of the already £15 signature fee) is just out of order.

    What do you reckon people?

  3. As the title suggests, I wondered how on earth Dave got Olga Bisera to do the show?

She has been extremely elusive for most of her life and has only just come to light since she was announced for the show.

I will most definetaly be buying around 4-5 signatures of her as she is such a rare autograph to get!

Anyway chaps, if you have anything to say about any of the guests..........fire away!

  4. Well thats me out £170 for General Stafford, i guess the photo session will be busy as no matter what amount of overtime I do this is just way and not speaking for them others can afford this over the top price. Yep its way out of my price bracket (unless I win the lottery between now and the show)... Please give us less fortunate a chance.

Maybe you could try Ebay if they become available after the show.

Sometimes dealers, tend to sell, particularly those they have big batches of sigs from, cheaper thus picking up a bargain?

  5. AutographFanatic - Do you have an email address, as the PM system dosen't work here and discussing sellers' websites isn't permitted.

I look forward to hearing from you Sunspeed.

I have no problem whatsoever with mentioning places to find photos etc as that helps you all.

But let,s keep it as a seperate topic please.

    Dave

    Granted, no problem!

Will create a seperate thread for that!

  6. Thanks for tour help. I didn't think they would have unsigned photos, which is why I hadn't looked on Bond Collectables. That Eva Rueben-Staier photo (from Octopussy) looks good, but it has her signature underneath, and the price seems a lot when I want to have just the photo so I can get it signed at the event.

It doesn't have her signature on the bottom of the photo! They are unsigned photos on that link I posted!! :P

This link however, is a signed picture. http://www.bondcollectibles.de/catalogue/a...s.php?actor=249

The reason the photos seem a bit pricey is because, you are paying for the exclusivity as these shots are hard to come by and are only (as far as I know) produced and stocked by Bondcollectibles.

Contact him and get him to quote you on the price of a single unsigned photo.

  7. That's great, thanks. The left-hand picture I like the most, kind of a portrait picture. When I get Bond autographs I don't mind it if I can only get a non-Bond photo to get signed.

Just hope the picture hasn't gone by the time I purchase it.

    Your welcome!

Don't worry, her won't sell out of photos fast, he's got a good stock!

  8. Further Bond guest suggestions:

Any models/actresses who appeared in the pre-credit title sequences, especially from Octopussy, A View to a Kill and The Living Daylights.

Good suggestions there! I think a few of them have recently appeared at some signing shows, at least the ones that were able to be tracked down!

Cherry Gillespie from Pan's People (1970s TV dancers) please! :)

She has started to appear on the signing circuit I am pleased to say, so never say never!

    Some Bond guest suggestions:

    The Spy Who Loved Me:

Sue Vanner - Have her autograph already and would love to met her at a show.

Marilyn Galsworthy - Was contracted and opted out last minute of doing her first and only appearance at a show a few years back.

    Felicity York

    Dawn Rodrigues

    Anika Pavel

    Jill Goodall

    Moonraker:

Corinne Clery - Possible she might attend.

Emily Bolton - Has dissapeared without trace, last known work to do was in 1991 I think. I have her autograph which I bought, but would like to meet her too.

    Irka Bochenko

    Leila Shenna

    Anne Lonnberg

    Jean-Pierre Castaldi

    Brian Keith

    George Birt

    Kim Fortune

    Lizzie Warville

    Denis Seurat

    Benoît Ferreu

Patrick Floersheim } These two actors I think played the people in the pre-credits sequence who stole the Moonraker space shuttle. As did Jean Jean-Pierre Castaldi.

    Moonraker - Drax's Girls:

    Chichinou Kaeppler

    Christina Hui

    Françoise Gayat

    Nicaise Jean Louis

    Catherine Serre

Béatrice Libert - I have emailed her a few times over the years but she is a very very reluctant signer.
