  1. Downtown Abbey: A New Era was alright. Not a fan of the TV series but I admit some of if was entertaining. If you are a fan of the show you'll probably enjoy it.
  2. Operation Mincemeat was an interesting World War 2 film. It told a good and different story about the war with good performances.
  3. The Lost City was an entertaining adventure comedy film. Nothing spectacular but some good comedy moments and likeable performances.
  4. Mena Suvari (American Pie, American Beauty, American Horror Story & Chicago Fire) Denise Richards (Starship Troopers, The World is Not Enough, The Bold and The Beautiful & Wild Things) Breckin Meyer (Franklin & Bash, Clueless, Robot Chicken, Heroes, Road Trip, The Fix & Freddy’s Dead) Chrissy Metz (This Is Us, American Horror Story & Kung Fu Panda TV Show) Jayma Mays (Bill & Ted, Glee, Heroes, Ugly Betty, The League, Red Eye & The Millers) Paige Moss (Beverly Hills 90210, Its All Relative, Can’t Hardly Wait & Buffy)
  5. Morbius was a good and very dark comic adaptation with some good Vampire elements to the story. Not an all time Marvel comic classic but an entertaining movie.
  6. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 was an adequate sequel. Visually the film was impressive with some good humour but definitely weaker than the first movie.
  7. X was an entertaining horror and did a good job of matching the style of older horror films. Not a classic but undemanding fun.
  8. Aimee Teegarden (Friday Night Lights, Notorious & Rings) Thora Birch (The Walking Dead, American Beauty, The Hole & Ghost World) Lena Dunham (Girls, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood & American Horror Story) Mara Wilson (Matilda, Mrs Doubtfire, Big Hero 6: The Series & Melrose Place) Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian, Wonder Woman 1984, Game of Thrones & The Mentalist) Katelyn Nacon (Walking Dead, Light as a Feather & Tagged)

  10. The movie is a 15 certificate so not aimed at young children. I loved the Nolan films but they were darker tones too. Older children and teenagers may like but not young kids
  11. The Batman was a brilliant comic adaptation. It was certainly the darkest of all the Batman movies and a great performance from Robert Pattinson. The only thing I would add is that it I didn't like it as much as some of the other Batman movies. That's not a criticism just a statement about the high quality of the Batman film series.
  12. Moonfall was a brilliant science fiction blockbuster. The special effects were fantastic and the story was quite original with good performances.
  13. Nightmare Alley was terrible, apart from the first 20-30 minutes (which explains why they used those scenes in most of the trailer). The remaining two hours were just boring and didn't explain the characters at all. When the movie reached the finale I was well passed caring.
  14. Belfast was a good movie which was certainly difficult to watch at times. I do think it has been a little overrated though.
  15. Daniel Dae Kim (Lost, Hawaii Five-0, 24, Star Trek Enterprise, Hellboy, Angel, Flack & Insurgent) Katherine Heigl (Grey’s Anatomy, Firefly Lane, Roswell, Knocked Up & Suits) Ethan Erickson (Melrose Place, Buffy, CSI: New York & Jawbreaker) Amy Smart (Stargirl, Starship Troopers, Shameless, Justified, Road Trip & Crank) Ali Larter (Heroes, Resident Evil, Legends, Legally Blonde & Final Destination) Kellan Lutz (Twilight, Immortals, Legend of Hercules, Expendables 3, Nightmare on Elm St & 90210)
  16. Licorice Pizza was a good comedy/drama. It was slightly longer than necessary but some of the humour and the characters were good.
  17. Daniel Dae Kim (Lost, Hawaii Five-0, 24, Star Trek Enterprise, Hellboy, Angel, Flack & Insurgent) Katherine Heigl (Grey’s Anatomy, Firefly Lane, Roswell, Knocked Up & Suits) Ethan Erickson (Melrose Place, Buffy, CSI: New York & Jawbreaker) Amy Smart (Stargirl, Starship Troopers, Shameless, Justified, Road Trip & Crank) Ali Larter (Heroes, Resident Evil, Legends, Legally Blonde & Final Destination) Kellan Lutz (Twilight, Immortals, Legend of Hercules, Expendables 3, Nightmare on Elm St & 90210)
  18. Scream (5) was a brilliant requel (don't ask). It had some great tributes to the original trilogy and kept its humourous side to the horror film genre (and movies in general). There are many more horrors now than in 1996 but try to be impartial if you see it. Fans shouldn't be disappointed.
  19. Finally saw the new West Side Story. The sets, music and dance routines were very good but it was not my sort of film. If you are a fan of the play though you'll most likely enjoy it.
  20. The 355 was an entertaining action film with some humouress moments. It had been done before but still an enjoyable film.
  21. The Matrix Ressurections was good but didn't do enough to warrant a fourth movie. I like the Matrix but not to the extent some do but this did little to improve my opinion. Not enough Christina Ricci either.
  22. Definitely. I'd love to meet: Mary Mouser William Zabka Tamlyn Tomita Ralph Macchio Hannah Kepple
  23. The King's Man was a very exciting action drama. It certainly contained enough historic and action scenes to satisfy fans of both genres. A great performance from Gemma Arterton too.
  24. As 2021 is nearly at an end, what films did you see. A little like last year there are more than usual I saw on demand and TV but did see more than last year at the cinema. 25. Just seen The Ice Road on TV. Quite an impressive film and Liam Neeson played his part well. Not amazing though.
