  1. Oh yeah, forgot about Claire. Hmmmm, for some reason I think it'll be one of the others
  2. So it's pretty much either Ben, Locke, Kate, Jack, Sawyer, Juliet, Sun or Sayid? YOU WILL KILL ME SM. Actually kill me dead. Any of them will make very happy indeed. WHAT A GREAT DAY *high-fives everyone*
  3. AMAZINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG! *digs out Dean Stockwell-signed Quantum Leap auto*
  4. OMG that whole part of the show provided me with one of my biggest LOLz. When Sam, in doggie form, looked away from Sookie as she undressed...hahaha! Brilliant! OMG ERIC! I Eric. I forgot to mention him before.
  5. We need a place to chat away about the first season of 'True Blood'...so HERE IT IS! What was your favourite part? Who was your favourite (and least favourite) characters? Why? What do you think will happen in the next season? Personally, one of my favourite parts of the whole season was the vampire trial. It was so horrific. The thought of being put in a coffin for 200 years made me feel really claustrophobic. Aaaaaaaaaargh! Yeah, that whole scene was brilliant. My favourite characters were probably Tara, Jason and Lafayette. I loved Sookie too. Oh hell, I loved all of them really! I didn't like Jason's girlfriend, Amy, though. What a cow! I hated what they did to that poor vampire in the basement (Eddie). That was so sad. I really can't wait for the next season. Does anybody know when that will be available?
  6. I won't be able to afford a ticket for a while, but I am SO there. It's the most exciting con I've heard about for ages. LOVE IT!
  7. OMG they redid it then? Oh wow, so all you lucky people don't have to see rubbish Tara! Just ignore what I said then, haha. I have to watch the proper version! OMG! The pilot has been made with Rutina? WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! I too watched the unaired pilot with rubbish Tara. I was then really confused (but SO happy) when the actress changed. I really need to re-watch it with Rutina in instead. This makes me very happy
  8. Category 2 was too hard! They're the best characters! I went with Anna, Ryan and Alexander in the end. It was a real close call though as I want to meet EVERYBODY. I love it so much.
  9. I'm with Becky! I want to meet EVERYONE from the show. I'm obsessed!
  10. I started begging for him in January 2004: http://showmastersonline.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=5771 Words cannot describe how happy I am about this. THANK YOU SO MUCH
  11. Best Picture: Very happy that Slumdog won, as I loved it. I would've been equally as happy if Milk or Frost/Nixon had won too however. All amazing films! Best Actor: I love Sean Penn and thought he was incredible in Milk. For performance I was totally happy it went to him (I think it's his career best), although it would've been great to see Mickey Rourke win. Frank Langella was also very deserving! Best Actress: My personal favourite performance in this category (of those I'd seen) was Angelina Jolie's. I'm actually a bigger fan of Kate Winslet, but this was my unbiased opinion. However, Kate WAS very good in The Reader, so I'm happy. I love her a lot, so it was also great to see someone I'm such a fan of getting the award...finally! Best Supporting Actor: Predictable, but that's not a bad thing. I thought Heath was very good in The Dark Knight (he made the film), so this was a deserved award. Best Supporting Actress: VERY happy about this, simply because Penelope is SO bloody adorable. Seriously, she's got to be one of the sweetest actresses out there, right? (along with Marion Cotillard). I know this doesn't make her deserving of an Oscar, but from everything I've heard about her performance (I've yet to see it), it sounds like it was deserving on many levels! Best Director: I'm a bit old-fashioned and LOVE it when the film and director match...and it really couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. Danny is SO awesome and this was totally deserving (being the strongest factor in Slumdog Millionaire). Milk and Frost/Nixon were also directed brilliantly, but they felt more like ensemble acting pieces...while Slumdog Millionaire relied a great deal more on the story, visuals and direction. That's the main ones. VERY happy with the results and really loved the show this year. HUGH JACKMAN WAS AWESOME! As was James Franco in that comedy sketch. And Anne Hathaway in the opening number. And...well, so many other things. I'll shut up now. Roll on next year!
  12. TITANICCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC! Tara just sent me an email about this and it sent me a bit MAD! Hahaha, Freud!
  13. Tara, Jason, Lafayette! ANY OF THEM! Love it
