Don't want to clutter the guest announcment threads with anything negative (as is happening) as I am looking forward to meeting everyone so far announced, but just wondering if there is any chance at all of another main guest or whether the current line up is it?

Thanks for that, I think we all assumed he wasn't attending but it's nice to have that confirmed by the man himself! I agree, can we please get Denis for another event in the future?

I haven't I'm afraid. I think we have to assume that Denis isn't going to be able to make it this time. We will certainly look into bringing him to a future event though! Thank you, I would Love to meet him at some point, but realise that it's not going to happen for Bitten. Thanks also for the new guest announcement, looking forward to meeting Tara.

Agreed! I am hoping the guest announcements happen soon. I think I must be checking the forum every half an hour or so just in case they are there.

I paid £15 too, I thought she was expensive but didn't think to query it, especially as she was right in front of me at the time. As it was I jsut got one auto with her instead of the 2 I had been planning if she had been £10.

I had the same issue (only 1 of my 4 arrived), I emailed my details in and have received confirmation that the missing photos have been found and posted So I would suggest you do the same.

I doubt I can make it either, but would try! It would be nice to see Denis at another event regardless if, as seems likely, he's no longer attending this one.

I agree that Showmasters have been busy, LFCC was a massive event (pun intentional!) and I think that we Bitten ticket holders were aware of that and have been patient this far. As LFCC has now happened, and baring in mind that we have legitimate concerns about the availability of one fo the 2 guests announced, it would be nice to have some sort of official response from Massive Events, even if that response was along the lines of 'we are waiting to hear back from Denis's Management.' At least then we would know we've not been forgotten about!

Please can you e-mail into info@showmasters . com so that Julie can sort it out for you - You'll need to let her know your name, address, which photo you got and which you are missing; and either attach a photo of you or your description (just like on the photo slip you filled out!) Asked this in the other thread, slightly worried that only 1 of the 4 photos I am waiting for has arrived. Are they sent separately?

I am due 4 photos in the post, got an envelope today... But it only had one photo in it. Are they sent separately does anyone know? As I just filled in one form I was expecting them to arrive in the same envelope.

Yes, it's been a week after LFCC, so I have been patient... can we have an update about this event please?

Mine came off Sunday night after I left. Glad to get rid of it as I'd put it on too tightly, my own fault! I did wonder why I had to send a photo for a plain gold plastic wristband, but never mind. The auto packs? Was happy enough with mine, but only because I made a fuss and refused to be fobbed off with a general one after requesting something specific. They claimed they couldn't find the one i asked for, but as I made them double check it was there after all ...I am glad as the general random ones that went in with my specific ones are, to put it politely, not ones I am overly interested in. To be fair I have no idea who any of them at all are! However I didn't buy the gold pass for them, so not all that bothered about it. I think I would have been more disappointed though if that was all I had been given.

As a gold pass holder I had planned on attending a lot of the talks, but quite frankly the issues with the sound meant that in the end I only made the effort for the ones I really did not want to miss. I managed the front row for most of the them and I couldn't hear at all well from there, so can only assume it was worse further back. I was also surprised by how far away from the guests the front row was in the main talk area. Was there a reason why the chairs were so far back? I have been closer to the stage at other events when sitting in row 4 or 5 than I was here. I would also agree that the number of rows held back for gold pass holders was excessive. I can understand though that for the main talks that a lot more seats were needed and as the rest of the seating was done in number order then enough space had to be left so that if every gold pass holder had wanted to attend there would have been a seat for them. I am not quite sure if there is a solution to this as the only real way around this would have been to load the talks in ticket number order, as is done at the Massive Events conventions but I fear that takes a lot more time and would not be a practical solution for this set up where the hall needs to be emptied and re-loaded every 30-40 mins.

I have to agree that the X-Files guests were fantastic. I had already met Mitch on a couple of occasions, but still had things for him to sign this time too and so ended up seeing him on both Saturday and Sunday. Nicholas was my main 'must meet', even more so that Gillian. He was fantastic, and as others have said the fact he wasn't too busy Sunday morning meant that I had the chance to chat a little bit which was excellent. Gillian was a bit more of a speedy experience, but to be fair she was lovely and did take the time to have a quick word with everyone too.
